Yes Brother - Male Doll
Before we started Yes, Brother, our idea was to create a sequel to explore not only Alberto’s and Isaac’s adventure, but also introduce them to a new place (no spoilers!). We believe this would be a rich experience since we want to expand the game universe, so we created Bara Giants to connect it to Yes, Brother. Our goal was to create a 3rd game in which Alberto, Isaac, and William (Isaac’s brother from Bara Giants) meet each other and end their adventure together.

However, Bara Giants brought us a new audience (macrophilia community) and we’ve decided to end the Yes, Brother adventure in this game. In the near future, we’ll launch 3 major updates that will change relevant things from Yes, Brother story, and today we would like to introduce you to 2 of them.

  1. The 1st one is Bara Giants which will receive an update on the Halloween sale and William’s story will not end the way it ends.
  2. The 2nd one is Yes, Brother which will receive a visual update for all pixel art assets (tilesets and characters). As you saw on Bara Giants, we’ve been making our own tilesets, so Yes, Brother will have the same aesthetic of Bara Giants.

There will be a MAJOR update for Yes, Brother in which a lot of things will be added, but we’ll post about this when we have more things ready.

The visual update will happen on the Halloween Sale (on October 28th) and because of that, the game price will be increased by 1 dollar totalizing $3,99. If you have already purchased the game, you will not pay anything else for it, you will just have to download it again. (Sale files will be lost or will not work properly.)

[Main Updates]

1. 'Clan Challenge' content will be added.
In Clan Challenge, clan members will face against 5 boss monsters in consecutive order to defeat them within 30 minutes.
Clan members will be rewarded individual rewards for defeating each boss monster and stage level completion rewards for defeating all 5 boss monsters within 30 minutes.

1. Clan Challenge
Clan Challenge is a new content where players can choose from 4 stage levels to defeat 5 boss monsters in a set order within 30 minutes.
- Content can be seen from Clan > Clan Info > Expedition tab.
- Clan Challenge becomes available by reaching level 3 in Expedition Technique of Clan Tech and each subsequent stage levels will be opened at levels 5/7/8 of Expedition Technique.
- Completion rewards for defeating each boss monster will be sent to the mailbox and the Clan Challenge will end once all 5 summoned boss monsters have been defeated.
- Maximum of 50 players can join, and all of the bosses will have to be defeated within 30 minutes to succeed in the challenge.

2. Improvement in Clan features
- Clan leader or elders with the 'Finance' role of a clan occupying one of the Hidden Valleys will be able to distribute Darksteel stored in the Hidden Valley and Bicheon Castle territory storage directly to individual users.
- Clan Gold Donation will be changed to be accessible to users above level 40.

3. New Spirit
New Spirit 'Flame Hellborn Biyoho' will be added.
- Type : Fire Spirit
- Summon Effect : 20 PHYS DEF

Skill
- [Shadow of Nightmare] Increases 300 MP, 100 CRIT, 20% CRIT ATK DMG.
- [Bewitchment] Increases 15% Hunting EXP, 15% Item Drop Rate and reduces Skill MP Cost by 5%
- [Burning Kiss] 10% chance to deal 100% of PHYS ATK and 100% of Spell ATK as damage to nearby enemies. (Cooldown 25 sec)



4. Product Change on Steam
Some of the products will be discontinued in the Steam version.
7 products will be added in the Steam version.

- Ancient Coin Package III, Ancient Coin Package IV

5. Hidden Valley Requirement Changes

6. In-game bug fixes & gameplay improvements
- A new Auto-Enchant system will be available to users over level 40. 
- Party and Raid invite feature will be added to the Chat system.
- Fixed the issue of 'Ticket is missing' message not showing up after trying to join the Raid/Boss Raid while already in a different party.
- Fixed the issue of active 'Evade' being used in a stationary position.
- Mail with an unlimited period after receiving the item will be deleted in a lump(Before October 1st)
- In-game UI and Tooltip improvements.

Damage Tracker



Now it’s easier to see which fighters are your main carries. Click the icon to switch the chart from "Damage" to "Damage Taken" and see which tanks are doing their job.

Mouseover a fighter’s name to hover the fighter unit. Click the fighter’s name to select the fighter itself. The bar will be green if the unit is alive, and gray if the unit is dead.

4v4 Skill-based Matchmaking

Previously, Classic 4v4 queue would form a match as soon as 8 players were ready. Now it will try to match you with players closer to your skill level, using your hidden 4v4 rating.

Due to the more casual environment and the importance of fast queues, 4v4 matchmaking is very "loose," meaning you'll match with a variety of skill levels. Keep in mind that the team auto-balancer will always shuffle teams to be as fair as possible.

We'll be monitoring queue times and matchmaking fairness in 4v4 carefully and tuning things as needed.

Restart Campaign Button



In the Campaign only, you can now quickly restart a match via the ESC menu. Note that the restart button is only available for the first 20 minutes of the match right now, due to some technical limitations.

If you're past 20 minutes and want to restart, use Surrender. It's faster than Quitting and also awards essence and XP.

Improvements & Fixes

Major Improvements
- Added a button to start a Classic 4v4 match if you have 8 players in your custom game room. If you're in a squad of 5-8 players, it's highly recommended to play Classic instead of custom games because it auto-balances teams, has card drops enabled, and gives bonus essence.



- Pinging units now shows additional information



Major Fixes
- Matchmaking: Fixed occasional cases of long queue times when there shouldn’t have been, especially for lower rated players
- Gameplay: Fixed some very rare cases where a unit would start at max mana, when it shouldn’t have
- HUD: Wave Info and Attack Effectiveness windows now save their positions between sessions
- Tab Scoreboard: Fixed a bug where enemy units weren’t hoverable after they died
- Client: Fixed some cases where the game would freeze when trying to quit
- Reconnecting: Fixed a bug where you couldn’t send Giant Snails after reconnecting
- Interface: Fixed HUD layouts not saving between sessions

Matchmaking
- Duo Penalty: Improved to be more fair. Slightly higher penalty in low Elo and moderately lower penalty in high Elo for skill gaps
- Loading Screen: While duoing in ranked, now displays your party rating badge instead of your individual rating (to help players better understand duo party rating)
- Loading Screen: Unranked players now display their actual rating badge to players outside their party (to show a more accurate rating)

Minor Improvements
- Bots: Now smarter about generally avoiding ranged mercenaries on ranged waves
- HUD: Unit range circles are now shown during the battle phase. Range circles are a little less bright around the edges.
- HUD: When autosend (“AUTO”) is off, it now shows an empty checkbox to make it more clear that it is off
- HUD: Attack & Defense Types table now shows relative percents like +20% instead of absolute percents like 120%
- HUD: Fighter tooltips now show percent bonus damage/reduction: https://i.imgur.com/WF4cGTD.png
- HUD: Wave tooltip now shows attack range for ranged waves
- HUD: Pinging a player's power score now shows their leak ratio
- HUD: Pinging a king now shows its king upgrades
- Graphics: Enemy lane indicator VFX improvements
- Graphics: Upgrade Available white circle is now a bit more visible
- Graphics: Newly Deployed blue glow is now a bit more visible
- Menu: Prevented selecting Mastermind Variants or Lock-In Fighter too quickly (to reduce the chance of misclicks)
- Options > Interface: Health Bar size now goes up to a max of 300 (from 200)
- Options > Video: Cursor confined mode now has the “Default” option, which will be the default for new players moving forward. When “Default” is selected, the cursor will be confined for full-screen, but free for borderless/windowed.
- Debug: Added -stacks X command for setting hydra stacks

Minor Fixes
- In-Game News: Fixed a bug where in-game news sometimes didn’t show, especially for short events
- Graphics: Fixed some cases where a unit would appear to continue running across the screen, when it was actually standing still and attacking
- Audio: Fixed Mute Insufficient Resource Sounds option not working with king upgrades
- Audio: Fixed Judgment missing sound effect
- Battle Text: Various fixes & improvements
- Codex: Added -save/-load commands which were previously missing
- Graphics: Fixed a bug where trees sometimes weren't rendered for players on non-Very Low graphics

New Player Experience
- Game Coach: Now warns you about training workers during Wave 15 battle (since you can get 2x workers starting on Wave 16): https://i.imgur.com/sG62Z01.png
- Game Coach: Now reminds you to hit “1” and “3” keys to pan to your lane/enemy lane
- Game Coach: No longer reminds you to hit Tab + Space
