Hello Everyone!

Quick patch notes today addressing some bug fixes. A good amount of these have been plaguing us for a while now so we are very happy to see them resolved.

Below is a changelog:

- Fixed rare bug that caused enemies to get stuck in an idle pose after death causing the player to restart
- Fixed rare bug that caused enemies to spawn outside of a loot room on level four
- Fixed rare bug where the player would get stuck at the bottom of the boss arena
- Fixed bug that caused enemies to spawn in the wall on Pleasant Patch
- Fixed bug that caused arena powerups not to properly trigger
- Fixed arena exploit where players could restart to gain full HP and ammo but keep their round score
- Added level boundaries in several locations to prevent players from getting locked out of a zone

It's time to embrace the spooky season with axes held high, as we kick off our first Festive event with Valhalloween! 🎃👻

This celebration starts today, October 12th, and runs until November 1st. Everyone and everything from Valhalla, to the Village, to the Goblins (and even some Helthings) will be showing off in this seasonal makeover.


First we've introduced new Helthings, called Val Helthings (...pun intended), and have given our well-known Goblins some very fitting pumpkin heads. A long time ago (nearly a year ago) we toyed around with this idea just for fun, and now, they’re in Midgard!



You'll need to seek out and take down these enemies, to complete our Festive Challenges...


There will be 3 Festive Challenges during this event!

Festive Challenge Week 1: Defeat 20 Linnorms to earn the Headstone Loot Chest! With Mid-Saga, we’ve added the ability to select your choice of Loot Chest to safeguard your inventory in the unfortunate event of your in-game demise.



Festive Challenge Week 2: Defeat 50 Val Helthings to earn the Little Stranger pet! This enigmatic little trick or treater just wants to make friends… or does it? We promise they’re here for the treats, not tricks.



Festive Challenge Week 3: Defeat 75 Pumpkin Goblins to earn the Valhalloween Portrait to commemorate your spooky spirit with. Take home a piece of the Valhalloween logo itself!




Valhalla and the Village themselves have seen some fall-themed changes, adorned with pumpkins to keep the festive spirit high. Plus, keep an ear out for some Valhalloween themed music while on the Main Menu or when defending the Village at Night! Beware the giggles!




Need a costume? Don't worry, we've got you covered. Be sure to check out the cosmetics below, which will appear in the Shop through the duration of Valhalloween.

This hotfix is implementing a fix for achievements that didn’t unlock for certain players, even after Patch #3 deployment on Steam. The fix will be retro-active for these players. This doesn’t concern players on the Xbox family platforms as a fix for achievements will be included in the deployment of Patch #3 on these platforms, scheduled to go live shortly.

If you’re still missing achievements that should have been unlocked after downloading this Hotfix, we recommend trying to switch to another character/save and then switch back, or if you only have one character/save then start a new game and then load your existing character/save.

If you’re still experiencing issues with achievements, you can let us know by filling this bug report form . Thanks everyone for your feedback and support.

Diseases like smallpox spread quickly through the American population, with no distinction between kings and peasants. Death traveled the land and nothing could stop the ruthless and devastating virus that spared no one.

In this concept art, we display the picture of workers infected by smallpox, an image that became common at the beginning of the conquest, until the surviving indigenous people were able to generate the necessary antibodies and survive the disease.

Restrooms - During their visit, some customers will need to use the facilities. You'll have to make sure you have enough restrooms available and that staff are on hand to stop them getting too dirty!


Fire disaster - When employees are working in the kitchen, there is a chance appliances will catch on fire! Make sure to place fire extinguishers throughout your restaurant and stop it before it spreads...


Mini campaign - We’ve created a mini campaign that takes place across five stages. Each stage will have its own unique objectives that you'll need to conquer before moving onto the next level!
