Hello travelers from so many different and unique places around the world!
We're super happy to be able to celebrate the 2nd anniversary of Different Tales' very first game - Wanderlust: Travel Stories. It was a real pleasure and a very experiencing journey for us all, as it was our (Walkabout Games) first published title as well!
We would like to thank all the players that have joined this journey in the comfort of their own homes playing the game on their PC's or during travel - while playing the mobile version of the game, or trying it on a laptop or handheld like the Steam Deck that will soon hit the market. Thank you for trust, believing in our vision of Slow Gaming, and supporting our teams even so long after the release.
We're super proud of what we've managed to achieve working together on this title, and what have came afterward (just see Werewolf: The Apocalypse - Heart of the Forest). And if you're thinking - what's next coming from these guys? We just have this simple answer for now - you never know what's waiting for you just around the corner ;)

A major localization update! We asked a native speaker to polish all English texts: Major thanks to Dana who did tons of edits, obsessed over typos and display issues, and wrote some brand-new poems for the flower hints!
So if you had hesitations about the translation quality before, we hope this update will improve the experience for English players. If you catch any other localization problems in the English version, be sure to let us know.
Other small bug fixes and improvements:
Fixed some issues of characters bouncing from the ground in certain scenes
Added an exit button to the "stone" screens in the cave

With 12.0 in feature-freeze, it is time to talk about what is in 12.0, and why we release early.
In summary: 12.0 makes setting up multiplayer games painless. You no longer need to configure anything in your home network. Playing together are now just four simple steps:
You just start a server.
You set the server to invite-only or public.
You share your invite-code with your friend.
Your friend joins your server based on the invite-code.
There is no need to setup port-forwarding, or anything like that. The above will just work, for everyone, as long as you have a working Internet connection.
Depending on your connection, there are some extra infrastructure costs to us, but we hope to cover that increase with donations. Thanks to many of you, we see regular donations. This currently covers our infastructure cost, and we currently foresee no issues going forward. If this changes, we will let you know, and run some kind of fundraiser. Well, I guess in a sense this post is also a fundraiser ;)
As you might understand, this changes the multiplayer experience drastically, and we felt that waiting 6 more months to deliver that to you is not fair. As a result: we are releasing 12.0 early! (current ETA: mid October; you can already try it out via "Testing" beta branch on Steam)
