Through WWI and WWII, the importance of controlling airspace on the battlefield had grown significantly being used in every aspect of war and peacetime use. In 1947, the need for a formalized branch of service to be established to further the development and deployment of America’s Air Forces was seen as vital to modernization and organization efforts. Today we salute the USAF on their 74th Birthday! The USAF today continues to meet the highest standards possible, producing many of the finest pilots the world has ever seen.

Community Announcements - Nautlander
This is the same version currently published on consoles. This time, we don't have a detailed update list, but very small changes have been made to the balance of some stages, and some tweaks to the temple mechanics.

The main change refers to the inclusion of new languages, previously performed with automatic translation (not mentioned as included in the game). All translations done by the community have been revised, with due credit maintained, and now Dojoran has official translations done in Spanish and Japanese by publisher Ratalaika Games!

Mark Out! The Wrestling Card Game - Mark Out!
With update 0.4.0, I wanted to start refining some of the existing features of the game. The game's formula was pretty simple with the Momentum, Energy, and Spirit field's being key pillars of gameplay. As I started playing the game myself and even watching players get into it, I began to think of ways further expand this current system.

Gameplay Pillars
The original update saw the Reversal system being completely overhauled pretty early in the game's development. The players of the game really seemed to enjoy that update! The next issue I addressed was the player's inability to hit more costly cards without the need to pass on turns excessively. To account for this, the energy system was rehauled to refill each turn you had, This completely opened up gameplay and finally allowed players to use those stronger cards. The most recent (0.4.0) update focuses on the Spirit system. Originally, you would just throw out cards to get the one value to 0 regardless to the match type. The game now features body part targeting for cards along with individual body part spirit. This new update allows for more strategy in different match types such as Submission (requires you to work a body part to cause Submission) and First Blood (requires you to work head to cause blood). The next pillar that I plan on revamping is the Momentum system. Currently, it is very difficult to obtain a finisher and lame if I can be honest. I have some ideas in mind to bring that feature to the forefront of development soon.

New Match Types
This updates includes 2 brand new match types being First Blood and Hardcore. Both of these matches will allow the use of the new chair cards with the difference being First Blood's requirement of Head Targeting. These matches are in the experimental phase, so please play and break these.

Steel Chairs
Steel chairs have entered the chat! This new update introduces a brand new card modifier that can be purchased from the store call Chair Modifier. Purchase these modifiers, add them to your decks, and see what moves can be innovated real-time. These cards will not currently show in the Card Catalog as I just realized (while typing) that I forgot to assign the cards to Tiers. They are still usable and very effective nonetheless. These chairs can be used in the new Hardcore and First Blood matches and spell the beginning of the Weapon integration for Mark Out. I'm aware of the slow-down you experience when looking at potential innovations included for this card and will address it soon with a revamped Innovation viewer.

Blood
This feature was not highly recommended, but with the addition of weapons coming soon, I wanted to get this out of the way. Blood can now be triggered by certain moves if the head is damaged enough. The exception to this is the First Blood match that prevents blood until the Head Spirit is at 0.

Fighting Back
I have personally been a fan of the amazing Fighting Back organization and what they do in their fight against Pancreatic Cancer for a little bit now. It was so amazing to see the community rally around this cause and really come together last year to hit the huge donation goal. To do my part in spreading awareness for the cause, I worked with the organization to Craft a completely brand new arena in the game. This Fighting Back arena can be claimed upon game entry. In addition to this, all Mark Out card backgrounds will temporarily be branded with a custom made Fighting Back skin. Bug Fixes
  • Custom Cards would not upload with custom wrestlers leading to blank cards in matches.
  • Mark Out Moment cards have temporarily been disabled. I want to go back to the drawing board here to better refine the use of these.
  • Sometimes, cards that should not be available in matches would pop up in Submission matches
  • Cards that were upgraded after being added to a wrestler's deck would create duplicate cards

Welcome Commanders!

This is the first of many dev updates in which we will show the progress of the development of the Uboat Commander. We want to assure everyone that the game is in production and we are more than happy to show you our approach to this fascinating subject: U-boats fighting the convoys during WWII.



First of all, Uboat Commander is not going to be another super complicated simulator. In our game players won’t need to read a manual just to start diesel engines. We want our Commanders to learn how to perfectly control their wolfpacks and send as many merchants to the bottom as they can. That being said, we also want to assure everyone that all historical and technical aspects will be implemented in UC and it’s not going to be a casual game.



In Uboat Commander we want to focus on tactical aspects of attacking the convoys, which will be played in real time. We want our players to take visibility advantage of U-boats, according to a different time of day, weather conditions, chosen doctrine, chosen weapons, equipment (offensive and defensive), and... much more. Avoiding attacks from escorts won’t be an easy task as well - as we all know from history, they will be getting much stronger every year during the War.



After each mission, a player will become the Commander from a strategic point of view. From expanding a U-boat base, and ordering research (for example on different types of torpedoes, sonar decoys, or even a doctrine), to ordering production of equipment. There will be a lot on your plate and who knows, maybe even you will manage to change the course of history!

How long can you survive in the dungeons of Durnar? Whatever the answer is, we can help you beat your record (and the creepy monsters). Check out our tips to make the most out of each dungeon run.

First of all, you need to remember one crucial detail—don’t be afraid to fail. Dying is actually a way to improve in Arboria, so learn from your mistakes and get some crazy new traits for your next Yotun.

Now, let’s jump into Durnar!

Battle tips for young Yotunz:

  1. Don’t attack all of your enemies at once—instead, keep your distance and eliminate them one by one.

  2. Observe your enemies’ behavior. Studying your enemies’ movement strategy will help you predict upcoming attacks and give you enough time to dodge them. This is important since Arboria can’t be won simply through spamming attacks.

  3. Are you new to Durnar? Strike twice or thrice and then dodge. It’s a simple and relatively safe strategy to have at the start and it will help you to survive long enough to learn new tricks. There is no stamina bar so you can dodge as much as you want.

  4. Be extra careful when locking on an enemy in a group. Observe your surroundings and pick monsters in the most convenient position to be attacked. Then, destroy them one by one.

  5. When encountering a large group of enemies, make sure to take out flies first. Flies are annoying enemies that can distract you from your battles with larger, more difficult opponents.

  6. Shockwave, your first mutation, is perfect to deal with groups of enemies. Lure them close enough and deal some nice AoE (area of effect) damage with just one hit.

  7. Another useful strategy is to run towards enemies and roll behind their back while they’re busy attacking. Sometimes you’ll be able to hit them from behind before they even start to turn around.

  8. Apply Essence to your weapons based on the enemies you’ll be fighting next. Each Essence has its forte and deals greater damage against certain types of opponents.

  9. Before you reach for a healing Bongo, check the map for places marked by green pluses. Interacting with them will give you some free health points.

  10. Each Mutation, based on the applied Essence, acquires new abilities. Pair up Essences with Mutations based on what you need in a given moment for the best result.

  11. Create Super Essences as soon as you unlock this feature. They increase the quality of your equipment and reroll items’ bonuses.

  12. Utilize the environment in battle. For example, Bio bombs lying around can come in handy in some situations. Also utilize traps and have enemies walk into them.

  13. Participate in Godz Tests. Finishing them will provide your Yotun with a bonus.

  14. Choose your armor based on your current needs. Different armor has different features, so don’t just stick to one piece of it because the protection value is good.

  15. Loot the bodies of fallen Yotunz for their equipment, but stay alert—monsters guarding them are stronger than other enemies.

Combat mechanics
Your party has equipped abilities. When you match the elements needed to trigger them - the character casts the ability, if he is alive. If more elements are matched, the ability effect is increased.

Development Direction change
After playtesting and brainstorming the direction of the game, we've decided to stick to the classical match-3 rpg formula. The progression is going to be linear and there won't be any permadeath. You may attempt to complete a level any number of times, while accumulating the currency and upgrading your characters. Even if you can't complete the level - you are still going to get stronger.
