This week we're challenging you to destroy all the lamps you find. See a lamp? By any means possible, it has to go, even if it means punching it with your fist!

Let us know on Twitter or Facebook how you did and one of you will receive a little present.
Lord Winklebottom Investigates - Raptor 4.0
Hi everyone,

What an exciting month it has been! If you’re not aware, Lord Winklebottom Investigates was featured in the Investigation & Mystery category of the Yogscast Tiny Teams event.

It was a privilege to be a part of the online show, and I want to thank the Yogscast team for making sure I had all the information needed to guide me through the experience and enjoy the celebration.

Many got to see the dashing detective gentleman giraffe in action, and I’m pleased to report that quite a few more folks have downloaded and played the limited release demo over the past few weeks.

Transitioning from physical to fully digital events hasn’t been easy, but like everyone else, I’ve taken the time to adapt, making the most of every opportunity. The good news is that the game is getting exposed to a wider audience, which means that overall, it’s probably reaching more people as a result of these digital events.

The Tiny Teams week-long celebration was a unique experience, bringing small indie developers together and showcasing a range of unique titles.

I have a few favourites I enjoyed during the show! From other categories, the beautiful world of A Tale of Paper definitely stood out. The platformers Demon Turf and Akatori looked like a ton of fun as well!

From Winklebottom’s own category, I absolutely loved the quirkiness of The Season of the Warlock, the stylish 30s setting of Overboard!, and the pixelated awesomeness of The Darkside Detective. I can’t deny the appreciation for non-humanoid detectives, which is exactly why Frog Detective will always hold a special place in my heart.

Once again, a big thanks to the Yogscast team for hosting an amazing event and to every one of you for your continuous support. Stay tuned, and rest assured there will be more exciting news about the game in the near future.

All the best,
Charlotte

Hello adventurers!

Continuing our weekly updates in week #2 comes 1.4.1. This is a smaller update than last week's and will be supported by a content update coming mid next week. The focus of today's update is getting us launched in Free To Play. Now that we've got all existing users with an endless Premium subscription, we're ready for this change occurring shortly.

Content
New
- Added Level 5 mini-boss to Westlum
Reputation
Reputation is earn-able at Level 40, and is given as a percentage of the total HP of any mob that is killed. Therefore: tougher mobs give greater reputation. Reputation is currently handled as a regular inventory item as currency. You won't earn any reputation between Levels 1 & 39, even after prestiging.

Changes
- Given all existing accounts 99999 days of Premium membership
- The Skeleton King: greatly reduced HP
- Greatly reduced XP given by Skeletons in the Skeleton King's Lair
- Greatly reduced XP given by Mystic Beings in Elodine's Gift

UI
- Added a name colour effect to Premium players
- Added a blue dot on the mini-map to represent your current position
- Added red dots to the mini-map to represent nearby enemies

Fixes
- Removed the chat swear filter (you're welcome)
- The "out of mana" SFX will no longer play if you don't have M1 held down
- Greatly improved performance of world animations
- Fixed an issue that caused your Order to be reset on server restart. You'll need to set your order again when you log back in!

Venture Seas - VirtuousDevelopment
Progress update for Venture Seas! Just wanted to waffle about our progress on the next build.

Firstly, I'd like to mention that we're trying out a social media posting schedule, so we can keep people more informed.

I'll be posting info and artwork about the project on the Official Twitter.

As for the next build, we've been working hard on Bleakfyre Harrows (the final 'main story' dungeon) and Itzayula (a new 'mayan inspired' swamp city)

All of the dungeon scenes are written and implemented as a base, awaiting testing and final artwork.

Here's some concepts of a new shortstack 'Greblin' race we've been designing for the new dungeon!

Most of the main story content is now written and complete, all the way to the ending. The post-game will feature a new ship (an ironclad vessel) which will act as an opportunity to travel under the world-oceans, up into the sky-ocean or even new continents! (for modded maps or future expansions)

As you can see, we've also been working on concepts for a 'wetsuit/spacesuit' for when the story brings our adventurers to the sky ocean (leading to the final encounter)

Our new programmer has been hammering out fix after fix, and many Q.O.L additions, such as 'buyback feature' from traders, quicksaving, and game balance changes.

I've been restructuring code for player modding purposes and drawing new sex scenes/concepts (Which I'll post WIPS to twitter soon, so be sure to Follow Us!)

Catizens - F.SnowFlake
Hello pawsome!

The world of Catizens is certainly cozy, but it is also not without danger! The woods are filled with beasts that will attack any kitty on sight. We've previously talked about the evil rats in Catizens, but today we want to show you some of the other enemies.

The wild boars are the most basic enemy in the game. They live in the woods and tend to travel in groups of two or three. Thankfully, they're easy to defeat and will drop a lot of delicious meat for the catizens. Unless you are dealing with the boss boar, of course. Stay away from him.

Then we have the wolves, ferocious predators that can do more damage than boars. Your catizens will be safe during the day as wolves hunt at night. To put an end to the wolves, you will need to defeat the wolf pack leader who lives in a den, but it won't be easy.

And then we have the bears. They live in caves and will roam around on their own. The bears have an excellent sense of smell and are always on the hunt for food, which includes raiding your storage sheds. But if you let the bears eat their fill of your supplies, they will wander off and leave your settlement alone. Be careful if you want to attack one of them – bears have thick skins and sharp claws!

Don't let catizens go into the dark forest unprotected! Leandra and her knights are always ready to help and guard the settlement, as well as its inhabitants.

Respectfully,
Catizens Team

Players will be divided into two opposing teams for each match. A team can have up to 20 players.

Victory is achieved when one team destroys all of their enemy's defenses, captures their strongholds, and destroys their Crystal. If neither side can destroy the other's Crystal within the match time, the team whose Crystal has more HP will be the winner.
