Hi there Dwellers!

It’s been a few weeks since our last update, so we just wanted to sit down and have a little heart to heart with you regarding the current plans for the game, and what’s next in Early Access.

First of all, we’d like to thank each and every one of you who’ve played our game and left us feedback in the past month. Whether you’re a new player or you’ve been with us since day one, we appreciate you. All your feedback has given us a lot of direction and we’re hard at work at making the game the best it can be.

That being said, we’re currently working on a significant update to the game. We’ve used your feedback and taken a good look at the core gameplay, and will be making changes to this, as well as implementing more community requested features.

Here’s what you can expect:

  • A new class system


  • Reworked card synergy to allow better and easier deckbuilding
  • Updated progression systems
  • New events
  • Elaborated story elements
  • New enemies

Once these features are nearing completion, they’ll appear first on our new BETA branch. When we’re ready for everyone to play it, you’ll be first to hear about it here on Steam. Stay tuned!

New Feature Rotating Pieces
===========================
Puzzles can now support pieces being rotated.
On puzzles with rotated pieces players can single click to rotate a piece 90 degree clockwise.
Puzzle level structure modified to support this new feature. New levels are 3x3, 4x2, 6x3, 6x3 Rotated, 8x4, 8x4 Rotated, 10x5 and 10x5 Rotated. Levels with 14x7 and 16x8 pieces were removed as they were not fun especially now with rotated pieces. 12x6 puzzle may return at some point.

Game Interface Changes

Added Indicators on the left of the puzzle to show active functionality.
*Instruction indicator which can be clicked to reread the puzzle instructions.
*Tutorial indicator that is visible when the puzzle is in tutorial mode.
*Move Indicator that is visible when pieces can be moved.
*Rotation Indicator that is visible when pieces can be rotated.
Improved the look of the "Start Again" and "Level Selection" controls.
Added a 30 reminder to get up and stretch.

Puzzle Changes
==============
Increased the size of the white boarder so edge pieces are now even more easily identified.
Added Instructions to the beginning of each puzzle.
When you select a puzzle you are always taken to the saved level the last time you played. This was confusing for some people since the option you clicked might say a level higher then was saved. To avoid confusion a message as was added "Loaded saved level ## puzzle" so they know why they had been brought to a lower level than they clicked.

Improved the "You have an puzzle unlock" message to include the number of unlocks you have if it is more than one.

Option Changes
==============
Added support for multiple languages. This includes all message, UI controls.
I do not speak multiple languages so I used Google translator. Feedback from native speakers of each language would be much appreciated.
Currently testing with only Spanish but if all goes well hope to add all Steam supported languages.

Today’s patch is also being released on the Experimental version to bring both Experimental and Early Access to parity, including some newly added updates to translations.

The patch shouldn’t cause any unexpected issues but as always you can let us know if we somehow broke things over at our QA Site https://questions.satisfactorygame.com/ We check your posts every day <3

A reminder for people who have been having issues with unexpected crashes on startup or weird behaviour with the game, in that case please try to verify your game files.

You can do this on Steam by Right Clicking the game in your Library > Properties > Local Files > Verify integrity of game files...

And on Epic by clicking on the three dots (“...”) next to the title or at the right side, depending on your selected library view > Verify

This may or may not redownload a large amount of files which might take a while depending on your internet connection or hard drive speeds so be wary of that.

If you are using mods, they might need to be updated or uninstalled after updating so please keep this in mind too.
