app_update 232130 -beta preview
To opt into this beta on EGS, the Beta will be accessible within KF2 owners’ game libraries as a separate install called “Killing Floor 2 Beta”. Users may need to restart their EGS launcher for the Beta to populate and be accessible to install. Progress for stats and inventory is shared between both versions on EGS so for users switching between Beta and Live be sure to sync your game data to use the latest timestamp to prevent any lost progress from participating in the Beta. The Beta on EGS also includes its own dedicated server within the install for your own personal hosting needs for this version.

Designer Notes : We included the option of purchasing armor in portions to allow the mercs to have more flexibility and control in the trader menu. We think that it will be especially useful in situations when you have few dosh to spend and need to distribute it between ammo, armor and grenades.
Some time ago the 9mm was excluded from the weapon rotation of the quick swap button, as part of a quality of life improvement. Some players appreciated this change but others missed the previous configuration. So now we have included it as a configurable option, so any player can select the one that prefers.
We added the Discount UI optimization and the More Transparent Drop Percentages just to increase the user experience of the store and the inventory in general.
The Mine Reconstructor was underperforming compared to other Field Medic weapons. It has not found a gap in the weapon loadout for most medics, so we made some adjustments to tune up some general stats, aiming to place it in a better position and making its unique mine mechanic to shine more.
We also made some adjustments in the special heavy attack of the Hemoclobber. We increased the damage but reduced the healing of the explosion and the magazine size. So the gas explosions will be less frequent, more powerful against enemies but less efficient in terms of healing.
Finally, two SWAT perk skills had some functionality tweaks that should improve their performance and viability. Tactical Movement will offer even more movement capacities and Close Combat Training will also improve the melee (bash attack) of all SWAT weapons.
Bug Fixes Also mentioned in the 2020 Killing Floor 2 ‘State of the Game’ our goal is to bring to the community a continued stream of community-reported bug fixes for each update throughout the year. Please continue to report any bugs you discover by visiting our official forums at: https://forums.tripwireinteractive.com/forum/killing-floor-2 and posting in the ‘PC’ or ‘Console’ sections.

Age of Empires II: Definitive Edition - elizabeth.solanki
After two thrilling weekends of group stage gameplay, Empire Wars Duo 2 comes to a conclusion this week. The best teams of the world fighting for a prize pool of $20,000 sponsored by Microsoft can now show what they are capable of in this one of its kind 2v2 Empire Wars tournament!
The event kicked off with 16 teams fighting for 8 spots to qualify and join the 8 invited teams in the group stage. Last weekend, four teams – Heresy, Gamerlegion A, Aftermath B and White Wolf Palace secured their spot in the quarterfinals.
This week’s program starts with the deciders for the other four remaining spots in the quarterfinals, with two deciders sets on both Thursday and Friday (2 – 3 September) and is followed by the quarterfinals on Saturday, and the conclusion of the event on Sunday with the Semifinals and the Grand Finals.

The Teams
GamerLegion A & B
GamerLegion is one of the two organizations providing two invited teams for the event. Both GamerLegion A (Jordan, TaToH and Nili) and GamerLegion B (Slam, DauT and Viper) are among the best players in the world and have shown their strength in numerous Empire Wars events before. Architects of many brand new strategies, they do have the element of surprise on their side in many cases. Though both GL teams provide tough opposition it remains to be seen if this will be sufficient against some of the more formidable opponents in this tournament.
Aftermath A & B
Aftermath also delegates two teams for the event, both of which had considerable success in the previous Empire Wars Duo event in 2020. Hera and Liereyy, the champions of the previous event are the favorites to win this event thanks to their exceptional skills and team coordination. They are also joined by Hearttt as a backup on their roster. Meanwhile, the other team composed by MbL and Nicov has a remarkable history in 2 vs 2 events, and remains a team that opponents should not sleep on.
White Wolf Palace
White Wolf Palace delegated the three strongest Chinese players as their team for the event. Mr. Yo, a former champion of Red Bull Wololo is joined by Vivi and Lyx in what will be an uphill battle for the title. Nonetheless, the resilience and aggressive playstyle of White Wolf Palace has made them one of the best teams in the world, and they will provide a tough opposition for whoever has to face them.
Vietnam Legends & Strategy
The only country to provide three teams worth of players, BacT and ACCM represent the invited team of Vietnam as Vietnam Legends, while two other Vietnamese teams, Vietnam Strategy A and B managed to qualify, featuring players like SayMyName, RollsRoyce, SongSong and Badboy. These teams share their aggressive playstyle and thrive in Empire Wars settings. While none of these teams are a favorite to win the event, these teams all have considerable upset potential against teams seemingly stronger than them.
The Maps
A large variety of maps are available for the players to play in this event, including traditional tournament maps like Golden Pit, as well as some lesser known maps including the fan-favorite Canberra, that has provided amazing gameplay!
Canberra
This map features the players starting with walled-off bases seemingly providing safety. In reality, the walls are easily broken through, and the players also have a backdoor to their base: narrow channels of water connecting in a central pond providing abundant fish. While the walls provide some early defense, players will still find themselves under a large amount of pressure from land or water. This map is also much smaller than ordinary 2 vs 2 maps, providing increased intensity to the fights throughout the game.
Hidden Treasures
Specifically created for Empire Wars Duo 2, this is a brand new map. Teams are separated by forests and shallows in the middle of the map. While the starting bases of the players are well defendable, players have to move out early to secure the gold deposits located on the two hills between the teams.
River Belt
This one is among the most aggressive maps seen in the history of competitive Age of Empires. The players start on an island surrounded by water very close to their enemies. While aggressiveness and early pressure is of great importance on this map, players must be careful about moving their forces through the shallows in middle, as either ships or land units can easily destroy armies in this central part of the map.

Update 1.6 just went live and you know what that means…? Of course you do - lots of lovely updates and changes to the game. The development team have been busy, and this update is the BIGGEST one so far!
Before we go into detail, let’s recap what we have done until now: • Added new Terminator Class • Improved network • Added offline play • Added new missions
For Update 1.6, we’ve added a bunch of missions for the Skirmish mode from the campaign as well as a completely NEW MAP that will keep you on your toes on Mars! And of course, we are saying NO to cheaters and improved our anti-cheat and anti-grief system!
We've also added a "co-op" campaign which enables a few things; • Everyone can now see the world map events and experience the full campaign together - with the host making decisions. • An option that is enabled by default and limits the equipment of the campaign to the researched technology, can be turned off so that players use their profile and not technology - but must be done at the start of the campaign.
You can now vote to kick players as a team and personally mark players through the ""Avoid Player"" system. If there should be some problems within your squad, and the majority of the team does not get along with another team member, you can make that member leave and mark them.
As you can see, we put a lot of time into this update and hope you will enjoy all the changes!
But wait, that's not all, you can now save 30% on Red Solstice 2: Survivors!
We will continue to work on new updates including Skirmish Bots and Prestige System which will arrive very soon along with the Hellfire Class.
Below you can find all the changes we have made…
1.6 Update Notes (2021 September 2)
NOTABLE • Added "co-op" campaign where players can share technology and are limited by the technology and research of the host, clients can see the world map also now • Added 16 critical strike missions to skirmish secondary mission pool • Added hidden votekick that can be initiated by anyone on anyone other than host if more than 50% of players agree player will be kicked • Anti griefer system • Anti-cheat system • Daily challenge has double the points for monsters now NEW MAP • Shield Generator / Cities of flesh
MONSTERS • Hellspawn will no longer get stuck in certain cases if he ends up off walking area • Red Hunter is more dangerous now and requires preparation, this will affect terraformer missions • Fluffy now uses his 3-chain attack when low on health • Biomass will no longer spawn under the ground • Flameburst cooldown increased by 5 on all levels • Gass pressure mission will detonate on failure visibly on the client now • Improved muzzle flashes • Barricade destructive resistance reduced by 5% so convoy has easier time destroying them • Added information on the profile when buying modules in which slots they go • Bestiary is showing correct hunter now • Biomass tentacles can be hurt the moment they get out • When eaten by creeper player will no longer end up in the broken state • UI improvements • Convoy vehicles do less damage so in certain missions you have to protect them • Red storm will not reduce your energy to 0 anymore • Synced Red Storm lightning strikes

Now get back to the mess hall - those tacos won't eat themselves.
