On September 9th, we will release the new mini-expansion Legions: Uprising with a total of 53 new cards (21 uniques). The road to this expansion is spiced with exciting info about the new cards and a thrilling spoiler season!

Spoiler season starts now: First new Uprising cards
We kick off the spoiler season with the legendary INNISKILLING FUSILIERS
The Royal Inniskilling Fusiliers was an Irish regiment of the British Army and was active from 1881 to 1968. During WWII, the regiment was raised from 2 battalions to 5, the 1st, 2nd, 5th, 6th, and 70th.
The 1st Battalion was stationed in British India when the war broke out and fought in the British colony of Burma against Japanese forces. The 2nd Battalion was part of the British Expeditionary Forces in France before being evacuated at Dunkirk in 1940. In 1942 the Battalion was sent to Madagascar, where it fought the Vichy French.
In 1943, the 2nd participated in the Invasion of Sicily, followed by the advance into Italy, as part of the British Eighth Army. The 5th Battalion served as a home defense formation in the UK, where it spent the war. The 6th Battalion was formed in 1940 and was later redesignated 38th (Irish) Infantry Brigade, which fought with the 6th Armoured Division in the Invasion of Sicily, Italy, and the Tunisian Campaign. The 70th Battalion was raised early in the war and was for young volunteers who had not reached the age to be conscripted. The 70th was disbanded in 1943 without seeing active service.
The second reveal of today is the Polish HURRICANE PL
After the fall of Poland, the Polish Fighter Squadrons that were flying for RAF were initially issued Hurricanes.
During the Battle of Britain, the highest scoring Hurricane squadron was the No. 303 Polish Fighter Squadron, with 126 claimed kills vs. 18 losses in 6 weeks, which also was the highest kill-to-loss ratio during the battle. For comparison, one British pilot was killed for every downed enemy aircraft, but the Poles downed 10.5 enemy aircraft per pilot death.
What gave the Poles the edge was that they were older and more experienced, plus they had learned to fly on more primitive planes in Poland, which helped them take advantage of the extra speed and maneuverability that the Hurricane gave them.
But above all, the Poles were super-vigilant in their cockpits, always alert and ready to react.
Last chance to get the Breakthrough: Catalyst set
With the arrival of Uprising on September 9th, we will remove the Breakthrough: Catalyst bundle from the in-game store. If you want to grab the whole Catalyst bundle, do it now for real money or in-game gold.
The Catalyst cards themselves stay in the game, of course. They are part of the Breakthrough set; you can get them now and in the future by opening Breakthrough packs. You can also use wildcards to get your Catalyst cards.

Bug fixes: - Added workaround to resolve a crash related to a buggy Windows update. - Chrome Speech Proxy now stops performing speech recognition when the keyboard is closed. - Fixed process name based window size saving affecting some window sizes when starting the program/changing profile.
Custom App changes: - Web API call for 'GetOverlayTransform' now returns local-space position and rotation when the overlay is attached to a device. - Fixed Custom Apps debug page showing rotation as Quaternions not EulerAngles. (EulerAngles are used when setting rotation) - Custom Apps debug 'Copy to clipboard' now copies the stringified JSON for 'OverlayTransform', can be used directly in a Custom App to spawn an overlay in the same position. - Added Web API support for setting an overlay to display a webcam. (OverlayType 3 is now Webcam) - Added 'getWristwatchTransform' call to return the wristwatch's position, rotation, and attached hand.

(1)Scenario Book This is a collection of dialogues that can be referred to in both English and Japanese. It contains supplementary notes by the author and points of interest during translation.
(2)The Making of a Portrait Illustration This is a collection of illustration data that allows you to feel the production process of illustrations in five stages, including rough and before coloring.
(3)Illustrations posted on SNS This is the original data of the limited edition illustrations posted on SNS from the time of the original version production to the present.
(4)DLC: "Official Visual Book","Popular Fantasy Monster Pack" An official visual book(Janpanese Only) containing unpublished illustrations and setting materials, as well as monster materials that will appear in the game, will be released as DLC.
A few more quality of life changes based on some recent feedback! Now you can choose to click once to interact with objects rather than clicking and holding
All Changes:
New interaction style option in control settings: click once to interact. For players that simply want to click once instead of clicking and holding to pick up something or chop down a tree
Now possible to click/hold on water to auto-move towards it to interact like other objects
Completely new river generation algorithm that uses A* to prefer paths that have the lowest terrain elevation, should result in less "cliff" like riverbanks. Only present in new games
A sea is now generated in a random direction in new games. Preparing for the story update, which will include road and village generation, and a region map depicting all these new features
Compression disabled for game files - game now takes up around 3.2GB (vs. 1.8GB before), but future updates will hopefully be much smaller and no longer need a redownload of the majority of the data
Add error-checking around the game load process so that issues are caught and a warning box appears explaining the game can't be loaded, rather than an indefinite black screen
Fix issue in internal object position tracking where floating point precision issues would cause objects to be bucketed incorrectly in very rare cases
Increased hunger replenishment from meat, increased thirst replenishment from river/lake water and boiled water
Remove stacking from various forged tool blade and head items to prevent unintentional averaging down of stats

Hello everyone!! We're super happy to announce that we will have a fan art competition starting on September 10th to celebrate the launch of Kraken Academy!!
To participate, you must create a new piece of art around Kraken Academy, and share it in the Kraken Academy Discord server. The art must feature characters from the game, it could be your take on your favourite character, creating a new Kraken Academy character, or a redesign on Broccoli Girl's Halloween costume!
We're excited to see what you come up with, and which characters resonate with you the most!
Submissions will be open from September 10th until October 1st and there will be fantastic prizes to be won, including a Broccoli Girl plushie!!!
