Hey Adventure Gamers! We updated Shikon-X's demo to showcase some of the changed we made since the game was showcased at Steam Next Fest.
There's several "under the hood" changed that just makes life easier for everyone and you might not notice, Here are the biggest ones:
-New font That's big one for us, the old font was tiny and hard to read, now we made a new font from scratch. This font supports all western languages, so if we can translate Shikon-X to German and other languages, we're ready for it (for now it's English and Spanish only though).
-New GUI We didn't manage to finish the GUI for Steam Next Fest, so the text at the hub was just floating over a black background, it made the game look unfinished (because it was!). Now we have a text panel with room for the character names and some other details!
-New Portraits This is the biggest one! We used to have just the pixelart characters (but bigger), and now we have beautiful hand-drawn anime portraits! We're super happy about this change and we hope you love the "real" look of the characters too : )

* Fixed a bug that would cause parts brought on a mission to duplicate on mission success. * Fixed a bug that would occur when using parts in a shooting range and then accepting a mission invite. The bug would cause those parts to be unavailable to bring in the mission and more seriously be lost from the player's inventory once the mission was started. * Fixed a bug that could cause parts to be lost when the client in a multiplayer session had a gun built in the shooting range and was disconnected from the session.

This time around the balance is focused on bumping the pistol up a notch after the crit rework knocked it down one (or two), nerfing the sniper's passive %HP damage, making base damage shotgun builds better late-game, and some knife buffs further improving its "boss slayer" role.

New game mode (DeathRun) - Try to escape into the goblin warren before the time runs out. Be careful of the traps and hazards, otherwise you might not make it. One goblin watches while you try to make your escape, and will do their best to stop you.

Fixed an issue with the invasion portion of the campaign tutorial which was causing the player to not be able to proceed to the next phase of the tutorial when they click the region of the map instead of the invasion icon over the region of the map.
A small quality of life patch has been released for Mightyy's FPS Aim Trainer. Thank you for playing and giving the trainer a chance.
General
-Added a random dice button to scenario browser next to refresh scenarios. This will randomly choose a scenario for you if you sometimes feel overwhelmed by the selection of online scenarios
-When paused you'll now see the loaded level name of the scenario
-FOV Slider now shows decimal units instead of rounding to nearest integer
Bug Fixes
-When bot entities are loaded they are now quickly stunned to hopefully eliminate edge cases of gravity bugs that happens very rarely
-Fixed an issue that caused relative scope sensitivity to not save correctly
-Fixed an issue that caused zoom multiplier score sensitivity to not save correctly
-Fixed an issue that caused outline thickness to not save correctly
