So we're running a competition where you folks can go make some awesome Horatio art work, and we'll put them in the game somewhere, like in the credits sequence or something. We haven't decided yet.

Our good friend Hirotonfa (Known to many of you formerly as Mcklinskey), has already done amazing work adding a small stylized version of Marie to our in-game light detection UI.
If we hit this stretch the €14k / $16.6k goal, we will invite Hiro back to create additional UI and in-game art for us!

Think the campaign is too easy? Then it's time to put your crew to the test in Freeplay Mode, where you and your crew must try and collect all the loot on any mission you want. Do you have what it takes to collect all the loot on all 17 missions?
New Freeplay Mode - You can attempt ANY mission you want - Missions are still equally hard - Captain is randomly selected before each mission
This update also includes some graphical upgrades and minor bug fixes.
Almost everything has been changed in this update. The entire list of changes due to its size will not be given, I will emphasize only the main points:
New interface, clear and simple
More enemies
Changed characteristics of both the hero and opponents
Updated, and somewhere redrawn objects on locations
New game menu and logo
New statistics after the death of the main character with a description of all the artifacts
Countless different fixes and improvements.

We're continuing our work on implementing Challenge Editor. This is a system which is really hard to develop while being very important. We believe that Editor would allow players to show their creativity in the game. Even if you don't want to create challenges, you can obtain many different scenarios created by others. We said that beta version will be available this month, but we still have some bugs to fix, so we'll have to move its release to this September.
We have an important announcement about Everescape.
Delaying the release is never easy, but our main priority is to make it as good as possible, and we decided to change our strategy in order to be much more efficient and gather as much feedback as possible, so before the release we will do some free beta testing.
