Update Features and Changes:

Added & Removed:

- Added a level slider in the play menu to make menu navigation easier.

- Added a tutorial tooltips to level 8, helping to introduce life steal turrets.

- Added level 10.

- Added level 11.

- Added level 12.

- Added level 13.

- Added level 14.

- Added level 15.

- Added the forcefield obstacle. This obstacle is a solid forcefield wall until the player presses a button to enable/disable them.

- Added the grinder obstacle. This obstacle is very deadly and will grind up the rocket if the player touches it.

- Added various features to the secret experimental level editor.

Changes:

- Changed how the rocket vibrates when charging.

- Changed the images for the jump scare room.

- Changed the laser turret introduction tooltip to specify they must be destroyed by launching at them at full speed.

- Increased the length for the tutorial level.

- Increased the maximum number of sounds that can be played at once.

- Made it so that the main menu buttons can only be pressed if their alpha is greater than 0.25.

- Made it so that the tooltips on the tutorial level will disappear when the player beats the level.

Fixes & Optimization;

- Fixed 2 white pixels on the left of the win menu logo.

- Fixed an issue where it was rarely possible to get a time of 0.01 seconds on a level.

- Fixed an issue where the UI color was not properly reset to the default when erasing data.

- Fixed an issue where the ambient sound for the gem would keep playing across levels.

- Fixed an issue where the audio settings were reset when deleting your data.

- Fixed an issue where the buttons and logo would not fade out if the player quit before the buttons were at full alpha.

- Fixed an issue where the computer startup sound effect would not fade out when quitting.

- Fixed an unpredictable issue where tabbing out and in of the game while its paused causes the game to crash.

Endless World is gonna be 2-year old this next week. To celebrate the anniversary, we have prepared 6 different events for you guys to get lots of rewards.

Event 3 – Anniversary Pool

There will be a new pool for players to recruit mercenaries. There will be a rate up to draw Ongar and Ophelia.

Ongar, as an excellent Wind Assassin, is good at spotting enemy weaknesses in the battlefield. One of his skill can strengthen Team Attack and Crit, which makes him popular in many teams.



Ophelia is also a powerful Wind Assassin with a special range of damage effects. At the same time, she also has the skill to strengrhen Team Attack Speed and Dodge.



No matter if you like getting into higher levels or fighting in PVP battles, the special combo between Ongar and Ophelia can’t be ignored by most of their opponents.

You will also receive generous rewards for this.

Any type of guide is welcomed, including Gameplay, Guide Feature, Merc Guides, Evolution Tips, Lineup recommendation, resource strategy, Boss Index, and etc..
(If you’ve made the guide before, you can just post it again)

Criterion

Devs will take consideration of moderators opinions, and judge based on the compatibility of the guides with the current game version, the effect of guidance for new players, and the legibility of the text part.

If the text part of the content can help new players understand the strategy of the game better, it will be more likely to be included in Endless World Help in-game for new players for reference.

  • Streamlined flowchart 4 to make it more intuitive to complete.
  • Fixed a bug where flowchart 4 would fail to load under certain circumstances.
  • Fixed a bug where going from the flowchart to the endings screen would cause the flowchart to still be clickable.

Hello all and welcome to our first run of weekly devlogs that will help share some insight into how Mage Drops is being developed and how the game experience is evolving around player feedback.

As with most things that are still a work-in-progress, the ideas, inspirations, and features that we discuss in these devlogs may or may not make it into the final product.

First up for discussion is the implementation of an Easy and Tourist Mode for Mage Drops.



Since Mage Drops appeared in Early Access on both Steam and Itch, feedback has fairly consistently identified strong level design, beautiful environments and a steep if not sheer difficulty curve.

Difficulty and a rich diversity of challenges formed by obstacles and evolving abilities is a core feature to the identity of Mage Drops. That said, we want Mage Drops and its story (more on that in future weeks) to be accessible to a wide range of players, not just the S-Rank Super Meat Boy masochists!

Players should be able to clear levels at their own pace to enjoy the full magical journey of Mage Drops and then return to earlier levels to develop their skills and aim for higher rewards. However, it is important that we manage that difficulty tuning so Mage Drops doesn’t become an extended tutorial-like experience that lacks in challenge and loses the thrill of overcoming said challenge.

To this end, we have already added additional checkpoints to some of our longer levels to ensure a bad shot doesn’t mean losing all your hard-earned progress.

We have also calmed down the aggressive rising water levels that occur in World 3: Ruins World, though the challenge is still very present.

That said we believe there is still space to develop a more accessible option for players to enjoy Mage Drops so we are hard at work on developing a true Easy Mode to be selected from the main menu screen, as well as a Tourist Mode for even more accessibility.

Easy Mode:
• Additional paths and traversal elements per level (more clouds, bounce pads etc.)
• Additional checkpoints
• Additional health recovery tokens

Tourist Mode would be an option for players who don’t want to be distracted from the story and gameplay. In this mode there would be no stroke counts or rankings at all and would have the Easy Mode level layouts.



We don’t have an ETA yet on when Easy Mode and Tourist Mode will go live but we are hard at work on getting the balance right, so Mage Drops remains an engaging, skill-developing experience regardless of your game mode preference.

Spiral Clicker - galdon2004
The 0.34 update for Spiral Clicker is finished and up now. I focused this update on finishing all of the buildings in the game. As well, I implemented an atlas system to reduce the memory burden of the game. This will cause some load times between scenes but it will hopefully reduce the prevelance of the black bars issue, as well as make the game easier to run in general.

Here's what's new in this version of the game:

- Market Function added.
- Hospital Function added.
- Mechanic Function added.
- TV Station Function added.
- Country Town Hall function added.
