Hello there,

We added the final story mission in this update. This is the reason why it took so much time. This level contains A LOT of new features. This is supposed to be the grand boss battle of all boss battles in all TD games. We hope players will get great experience by playing this level (after we add final graphics). For now it is just interesting. Mission 15 contains 3 phases.



Phase 1 is a classic mission with 2 small features. One road leads to the screen corner. It is the way to lose lives and lose a mission. Another road leads to the hole. Enemies who gets there do not take your lives, but feed the ancient worm instead by themselves. It increases health of the Boss in Phase 3.

If the ancient worm doesn't get meal for some time, then it screams and covers towers in the middle area with snow cocoons. Towers got stunned until a cocoon is active. Cocoons have a lot of health, so they can entirely disable your defenses. Players should balance entire game between killing enemies or letting them reach the hole to keep the ancient worm calm. Kinda unique experience in TD games.



Phase 2 starts when all waves are finished. The ancient worm and Bird Boss (from World #4) mutated into a huge mutant. This is your main enemy now! To pass Phase 2 you need to destroy 7 orange eggs and destroy the boss head.
When an orange egg dies it spawn a strong wave of egg-like mobs. These eggs transform into strong creatures upon death. Also, the worm spawns strong yeti waves which get stronger with each minute. So, if player won't destroy all eggs as soon as possible and the head in time he will lose.



After that the hardest part starts. Initial boss health on normal difficulty is 350'000 health points. This amount is increased with the game difficulty and how much enemies were leaked into the hole in Phase 1. For example, developers faced the boss with 588k health points! By the way, the first enemy in AoD universe had only 25 health. So, the boss is really tough to kill.

Boss in this phase is the mutated tongue of the ancient worm. He moves very slow towards an exit. It eats people on towers and produce different mutants. It has fear aura which lower attack speed of nearby units. Finally it perform global stun ability every 15 seconds.

Boss spawns infinite waves of mutant waves from a tentacle in the right side of mission. When enemies from this path reaches the Boss when they will teleport to the place in front of him. So, the closer the boss to the end, the tougher the fight becomes. Player should use all his AoD experience to deal with it. You can do it.



We added 13 mobs special for this mission. So, we hope, you will enjoy it. And it will be the great end of Age of Defense journey. Yeah, you will see the final cut-scene, it is also pretty funny.

Finally, we added a new menu, Mini tutorials. Players will get notifications during the game what they have unlocked new mini tutorial. It is a small cartoon movie which explain some game mechanics. We have started with 5 of them and will add more in future.



Also we want to share with you our next plans. First of all, we are going to replace current skill system with a huge skill tree. And we will add 3 modes for each mission. Finally, each mission will get unique requirement (an achievement) like in Warstone. After that we will add New Balance for the rest of the game. Wait for the announcement. We will post update preview soon.

Order of Battle is coming to PS4 on August 19th.



The PlayStation version will release at $19.99 and it will include the full Blitzkrieg campaign, one of the most popular Order of Battle expansions, which is distributed on PC as a separate DLC.

All the other premium campaigns previously released on PC will be available for purchase as separate DLCs on PS4 starting on August 19th.

Ho there, adventurers!

As we march towards our August 26th Early Access release date, we just wanted to give a short update on a few little things we’ve been working on.

You wouldn’t be surprised to hear that we’re hard at work on quality assurance right now, as well as making smaller refinements to the Early Access version to ensure that your Black Geyser experience is as bug free as possible. However, while we might have missed some bugs(that’s the whole point of Early Access!), we still think it’s incredibly important to get the game in your hands as polished as possible.

One of the things we’ve recently done was to take a pass at the existing lighting in locations and buildings to ensure it’s all consistent. We realized that a tavern entrance in the town of Crimson Crossing didn’t look quite right - it had a bit of a lighting problem. As a huge tavern that’s important for travellers preparing to rest their weary heads after a long journey, how would its visitors find it? We’ve taken the time to not only add stronger lighting, but also far clearer signage...

Here's the before and after.



Previously in Black Geyser, there was no way to interact with signs when you wanted to establish a location: there is now!

Simply click with the mouse cursor on any signs in the game and the name of the location will be displayed. It might be a small change, but for immersion and getting to know your surroundings that little bit more, we think it makes a big difference.

  • First person camera clips into player’s character hands while Katana weapon is equipped.
  • Bone Claws and Hardened Steel Punching Daggers cannot be dismantled.


  • Zath coming to Siptah. The religion teaching item for Zath will now drop during surges from T3 and T4 Zath priests on the Isle of Siptah.
  • Added Heirs of the North banner-feat teacher.

  • Fixed an issue that caused high-tier religious items to crash the game or make it unresponsive when selected in crafting queue.
  • Server restarts should no longer destroy previously stable building pieces.

  • Small animal pen should now only show one available spot for animals.
  • DLC-skinned pets will not eat or produce items in pen.

  • Black Corsairs camp’s environment has been properly restored.
  • Vulture's nest located above Rhinohorn Ridge no longer floats in midair.
  • Bases can no longer be build in a space between the Gate of the Moon and the rocks.

  • Animation of bow’s light attack will no longer reset and miss any frames if next attacks are executed moment after releasing the arrow.
  • Special attack for katana now has appropriate VFX.

  • Female Desperate voice no longer has old drowning sound.

Last month in the first of our updates, we mentioned how we had taken a deep dive into the responses from the I.G.I. Fan Survey, to understand what you wanted from a new I.G.I. game.

The feedback we gained from you was immensely valuable and as it is helping us to shape the game, we wanted to share some of the highlights with you. A huge thank you to everyone who took part! You probably recognise yourself in some of these answers, we certainly saw ourselves!



We also wanted to take this opportunity to answer some of the frequently asked questions we have been receiving from you!

1. What is the release date for the game?
    We know you are eager to know exactly when you can play I.G.I. Origins, and we're eager to get it into your hands! Right now, we can confirm the game is going to be released in 2022, when we are ready to announce the exact release date, you will be the first to know!
2. What platforms will I.G.I. Origins release on?
    You can wishlist on STEAM right now, and we’ll have further news regarding other platforms at a later date.
3. What will be the game specs for PC?
    We’ll be able to share detailed specs as we get closer to launch.
4. Will there be a Multiplayer game mode?
    I.G.I Origins is a single player experience.
5. Will there be a remaster of the original games?
    The publishing rights for Project I.G.I. & I.G.I.-2: Covert Strike are retained by their original publishers so we are unable to remaster these games.
6. Will there be any returning characters?
    We’ll have more video updates for you over the coming months to give you a deeper insight into the characters being developed for I.G.I. Origins. Stay tuned!
7. Will AntiMatter Games be working with Kim Jensen for this game?
    Good question! We are also big fans of Kim Jensen & his work! The audio is incredibly important for building tension in the game, and we can’t wait to share our plans for this.
8. What game engine is being used?
    I.G.I. Origins is being developed using Unreal Engine 4.
9. Will a beta version of the game be released?
    We’ll be sharing more specific info about the game as we get closer to launch.
10. Will there be Easter Eggs in the game?
    Couldn’t possibly answer this! It’s meant to be a surprise! Although it might be worth checking out our Update videos to see if there is anything there...

Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous - Enhanced Edition - Wooden_Dragon
Hello, Pathfinders!

We’ve had a hot summer so far. We’ve been preparing trailers, dev diaries, updated the beta version, and collected feedback from our beta players. And of course, we have been working hard on polishing Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous and preparing it for its release on the 2nd of September. Yeah, it’s definitely the hottest part of the development cycle!



Also, we’ve been in contact with some of our community’s mod makers, and provided the tools which we created as a part of our Mod Support social goal, which was met during our Kickstarter campaign thanks to you all! So the mods for Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous are in development, and some have been tested with the beta already. Unfortunately, while we will ship Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous with the promised mod support, we haven’t finished working on the Steam interface for the mods yet. Right now we are focused on preparation for the release and polishing, but we promise that this feature will arrive after the release, providing a more comfortable modding experience for Steam users.

Once again, we would like to remind those of you who backed Wrath of the Righteous on Kickstarter to check your account on the backers’ portal, if you haven’t done it earlier. Remember, that you need to log in with the email you used on Kickstarter when you backed the game! In your Orders tab you should be able to see a paid order from Kickstarter, and in the Purchased items tab - what exactly you ordered. If your account is empty, please search your mailboxes for an email from http://mailto:media@owlcatgames.com containing a link. If you can’t find such an email, please write to http://team@owlcatgames.com, and we will help!
