BUG FIXING

Crashes

· Fixed a crash that might occur when generating a map.

Major Issues

· Fixed a major bug where the icon to join a public lobby wasn't updating correctly, avoiding players to join other games.
· Fixed a major bug where you could fall from the map at the "PEST CONTROL" contract.
· Fixed a major bug where Helldörren could get stuck inside his thrones.

Fixes:

· Fixed a bug at some spawners from SKUA maps. Now the enemies will climb in a correct angle.
· Fixed a bug with the ReductionCD Talisman of ekkar, the reduction was more than 30%.
· Fixed a bug with rendering of some decals at "RESCUE PARTY" contract.
· Fixed a bug with some head cosmetics of Cass that didn't turn invisible when "phase shift" is activated.
· Fixed the description of the ReductionCD on kill Talisman of Ekkar, you need to kill an enemies with a skill not a basic attack to get the CD reduction.
· Fixed collision bugs at "ALPHA GORUS" contract.
· Fixed more Chinese localizations bugs.
· Fixed more holes in some maps.

Attention,Generals!

Today’s update does not only fix several bugs and improves the usability of map filters, but also marks the launch of the official Call of War Discord server! You should have no trouble joining, as a dedicated button has been added to the main menu, right next to the existing social media buttons. On mobile devices you’ll find said buttons in the “Community” tab in the “More” menu.

The list of bug fixes include visual adjustments to the recently added arrow heads at the end of movement indicators, which sometimes didn’t perfectly point at the exact destination, but were slightly offset to one side. Rockets flying upside down after they took off have also been fixed.

Last but not least all map filter changes will now be saved when closing the game and be applied the next time you reopen it.

After a delay that was a bit longer than I hoped, The update is finally ready.

New dishes

This is the first update since the early access launch of the game that adds new dishes. We are planning to add the dishes with themed updates, the theme of this update is “hipster cafe”. We added 8 more dishes this update:

• Avocado toast
  
• Coffee
  
• Latte
  
• Cappuccino
  
• Pancakes
  
• Icecream
  
• Cake
  
• Donuts

For the new dishes we also added 4 new ingredients:

• Milk
  
• Coffee beans
  
• Chocolate
  
• Avocados

And ofcourse, We also added a coffee machine to make coffee, cappuccino and latte


UI changes

To allow for the new dishes and more ingredients, I had to make some changes to the UI. I’m not entirely happy with the new UI yet, so it’s still a bit work in progress.


New fridge and dishwasher models

We added new models for the fridge and dishwasher. The new models allow you to see the contents which should help to give a better intuition about how many ingredients you have and whether a dishwasher is full or not.




Decoration

We added some new decorative items, the new items include:

New doors

We added 2 new doors, a toilet door and a archway




Achievements

We also added 8 achievements to the game. More will be added in later updates.

Get ready for Red Bull Metropolis, the new event for Cities: Skylines, that will challenge leading content creators Biffa, Quill, RTGame and Spiffing Brit in a series of trials against the clock. Red Bull Metropolis will put their urban planning skills to the ultimate test in this stunning event.
Taking place on 21 August 2021, Red Bull Metropolis will feature a series of refreshing, time-limited challenges designed by Red Bull, Paradox Interactive and the Cities: Skylines community. From tasking creators to reduce their city's traffic by building an effective bike network, to saving the city from a meteor falling from space, Biffa, Quill, RTGame and Spiffing Brit will be tested to their very limits – all within a 30-minute time limit.

Points will be awarded based on a number of in-game factors, as well as creativity, integration and realism, with players placed on a league table. After all five challenges are judged, the top two scoring players will compete in the sixth and final challenge to determine the Red Bull Metropolis champion.

A first of its kind competition, Red Bull Metropolis offers fans of the genre an exciting new way to engage with the iconic city-builder, and will be broadcast live on Twitch and YouTube , featuring leading broadcast talent to bring the competition to fans around the world.

Viewers can also watch the event on the invited content creators’ channels. This format enables fans to watch the way they want – either on the main Red Bull channels together with the gameplay challenges, interviews, expert analysis and commentary – or on their favourite creators’ channel to see their perspective throughout.
