Hey folks!

This patch takes care of a couple of issues reported by the community and adds adjustable game brightness.

Version 1.0.21:
- added the ability to adjust the game brightness level
- fixed being able to get an extra savefile from a dialogue "checkpoint" by saving & reseting right then and there
- fixed being able to get stuck in 2 spots on Repurposed Factory
- fixed being able to vault over walls while carrying a body, which resulted in a teleport
- fixed weapons not resetting the interaction block timer when cancelling an active reload by vaulting/climbing over something (the VP9 and other variable reload weapons had a really long block time because of this)

Beam - Burnout
We just released a new version of Beam. The default as well as the experimental version changed to 1.0.4r109s on Steam.
In preparation of the new chapter we finally put some long overdue time in fixing some of your reports which will also continue in the next weeks.

Let's dive into the details:

  • added 2nd levellist for easier swap between public and beta
  • fixed rare black screen issue when extinguishable fire tries to access the audio source before that was loaded
  • fixed antenna puzzle reload issue
  • fixed alternative way not opening in 1.9
  • improved performance in 1.9
  • improved performance in 1.6
  • changed quality presets to more sensible patterns - Having for example a low res shadows for low and much more
  • fixed occlusion issues in 1.9 on bridge control room

  • Change: Killing a Pirate now gains +10 reputation with Colonists (before: +5)
  • Change: (accidentally) attacking an NPC does not lead to an instant set-back to Neutral or below anymore. Reputation-loss has slightly increased for that action.
  • Change: Water Purification and Satellite Uplink(2) moved to Colonists spawn group
  • Changed: For balancing/lore reasons, players now start at 0 RP with Kriel and all Zirax Houses (except Abyssal)

  • Added Despawn and Respawn Options to Orbital Patrol Vessel:
    DelayBetweenRespawnMinMax: [300, 600] #[Min time before respawn, Max time before respawn] defines the boundaries of a randomly drawn delay of time in second before the vessel respawns after destruction. DelayBeforeSelfDestructionMinMax: [200, 250] #[Min time before self destruction, Max time before self destruction] defines the boundaries of a randromly drawn delay of time.
