To show that the work is really going on and that the finished update will be big, I decided to release only one prologue initially. It is quite short and serves as an initial introduction. But subsequent updates, in which days will be added, will be more voluminous and diverse. From weather changes to new characters and locations. Specifically about what has been added or changed - below.
NEW
* Added the ability to scroll through the character in the dressing room in the main menu.* Menu slightly changed. Switching has become faster.* Added a new character named Anzu who is the assistant mayor.* Added personal accommodation. To obtain it, you must complete the first mission.* In your private house at the moment you can change clothes, take a shower and go to bed (There is no possibility to change clothes in the prologue).* New animations of movement, as well as added facial animations.* Added a notebook with a list of tasks.

* Map design changed.* Changed the design of the dialog box.* Changed hairstyle. Added more advanced material (In the future, it will be possible to change hairstyles for the money earned).* Now, to change clothes, you need to visit your personal home and choose the necessary clothes in the closet (As you progress through the game, the dressing room will be supplemented with new clothes).* Changed introduction.
REMOVED
* Removed manual saving. The game will be saved while sleeping.* The ability to visit a prison, a witch's hut, a diner and some other locations has been removed. All of the above, as well as new locations will be added and changed as updates.*Temporarily removed the ability to switch languages.
The next update is scheduled for release in August. As soon as there is enough new content for a new version, the old one will be removed so as not to fill up space.
I'm excited and also slightly nervous to announce that after some consideration, I have decided to release the game early, given that it is in early access. I've made this decision as I would like the community to be as much of a part of the growth and progression of The Trader as possible.
Given the decision to release it earlier than intended, it must be understood that bugs and minor performance issues may occur. But I will work as fast as I can to iron out all bugs, and increase the performance to peak efficiency so that everyone can have a smooth experience whist playing.
I must confess that should there be any major issues between now and tomorrow night, the release could potentially be delayed by a day or two, but I will do my best to avoid any problems. However, I'll admit that game development can be a bit unpredictable at times usually due to human error (I'm only human, please put the pitchforks down!)
For those who don't know about The Trader, I'll briefly summarise it below:
Your main goal is to keep your shop running by trading with wanderers, whilst keeping the enemies at bay. The game features a fairly simple randomly generated adventure system, and enables the player to generate a new location every time they wish to explore and find loot to sell/use. Once in a randomly generated location, you can continue forwards to a new destination as long as you are a high enough level. But be warned, the further in to the Wasteland you go, the harder it becomes to survive...

The Game Developers Conference has just ended and I was lucky to be able to attend this year. Although it was online and it is not the same, it was what I needed to recharge my batteries and my passion for making games.
The development of MVK has been on hold for a few months, since to launch the game, I need to solve some important bugs that the truth after months of trying I have not been able to. Those who have been since the beginning know that I learned to program with this game so there are parts of the code that need to be rewritten from scratch by someone with much more knowledge than me.
To achieve this, my idea is to launch a very small game of commemorative NFTs for the game and use the winnings to finish MVK. Some of these NFT's may be used in the next Double Punch games, unlocking content or unique units!! Plus the soundtrack as DLC. (The soundtrack is free on Iaio Spotify).
If we succeed expect the release of MVK in Q4 this year.
In my opinion, the world of gaming and cryptocurrencies is the future. Those players can be actual owners of the content, can trade with others outside of the game ecosystem, unlock a unit in one game and use it in a different game is crazy but it is not. All proceeds will go to the fund to finish MVK.
Please tell me if this is something that you guys are interested in. I have been researching and I really believe that it is the future. I believe that players benefit from the wealth that a game and/or gaming ecosystem can generate in the future of gaming. That is why we have been talking with the people of ENJIN to integrate them into our next projects.
For example, those who get Odin's NFT will be able to unlock it and use it in our next game: Titans League! A fast PVP BattleMechs arena with tower defense. If you liked MVK, I think you will like TL.
