🔹Nightvision is now more than a light that surrounds the player at night. Toggle nightvision by pressing the 'V' key. Dinosaur species with better nightvision can see further at night.
🔹Now smelling for a dinosaur target sorts dinosaurs by their distance to the player. So you'll smell closer dinosaurs first.
🔹(Bug Fix) Accelerated Growth is once again counting down and rewarding you with experience points if your dinosaur is of the Elder growth stage.
🔹The coniferous forest's vegetation is now darker green.
Update 0.8.101.1
🔹Dinosaur health regeneration values have been normalized across all species. 2% of maximum health is regenerated per bite of food. 0.25% of maximum health is regenerated every x seconds while standing. 0.5% of maximum health is regenerated every x seconds while sitting or sleeping. The frequency at which dinosaurs regenerate health still differs from species to species, larger dinosaurs regenerating more slowly.
🔹Getting hydrated from eating is now based on a percentage of your maximum hydration and is no longer based off current bite size.
🔹Getting hydrated from drinking water is now based on a percentage of your maximum hydration and is no longer based off current bite size. Each drink restores 10% of your maximum hydration.
🔹Cycling between dinosaurs while smelling now ignores insects, since those are all highlighted by default.
It's big ears can cover half of this cute, but carnivore animal - Fennec fox.
Fennec fox
The fur of the fennec fox is straw- coloured. Its nose is black. Its tapering tail has a black tip. Its long ears have longitudinal reddish stripes on the back and are so densely haired inside that the external auditory meatus is not visible. The edges of the ears are whitish, but darker on the back. The ear to body ratio is greatest in the canid family and likely help in dissipating heat and locating vertebrates. It has dark streaks running from the inner eye to either side of the slender muzzle. Its large eyes are dark. The pads of its paws are covered with dense fur, which facilitates walking on hot, sandy soil.
A fennec fox digs its den in sand, either in open areas or places sheltered by plants with stable sand dunes. In compacted soils, dens are up to 120 m2 (1,300 sq ft) large, with up to 15 different entrances. In some cases, different families interconnect their dens, or locate them close together. In soft, looser sand, dens tend to be simpler with only one entrance leading to a single chamber.
The fennec fox is an omnivore, feeding on small rodents, lizards, geckos, skinks, small birds and their eggs, fruits and also some tubers. It relies on the moisture content of prey, but drinks water when available. It hunts alone and digs in the sand for small vertebrates and insects. Some individuals were observed to bury prey for later consumption and searching for food in the vicinity of human settlements.
Distribution
The fennec fox is distributed throughout the Sahara, from Morocco and Mauritania to northern Niger, through Egypt, the Sinai Peninsula, and the Arava and Negev deserts in southern Israel. It inhabits small sand dunes and vast treeless sand areas with sparse vegetation such as grasses, sedges and small shrubs.
Conservation
The fennec fox is listed in CITES Appendix II. It is protected in Morocco, Algeria, Tunisia and Egypt, where it has been documented in several protected areas. Current population numbers are not known, but assumed to be adequate, as traders in Northern Africa often trap Fennec foxes for exhibition or the tourist trade. The ICUN Red list classifies the Fennec fox as "Least Concern" with stable population trend.
I've recently brought someone onto the project that is looking into optimizing the game to raise its frames per second. It could take a couple of weeks before we have an increase to the game's frames per second though. I'll be sure to keep everyone updated here, on Discord, and on Facebook.
Hi everyone! Excited for the new announcement today-- ABS vs THE BLOOD QUEEN has been newly named ZOMBEEZ: A Killer Queen Remix. Changes have been reflected in-game and on Steam with a few exceptions that we need Steam mod approval from.
We are still in Early Access, with a final release date of September 1, 2021. Any updates until then will be minor. You can expect a lot of cool new stuff coming with the September release.
If you have not bought the game yet in Early Access, please add the game to your Wishlist to help us get the word out on Sept 1!
Big thanks to our Kickstarter backers, who supported the game under its original name, ABS vs THE BLOOD QUEEN. We’re excited for you to enjoy the game in its new form as ZOMBEEZ!
Along with the announcement is a trailer for the new game. We hope you check it out here:
With the announcement comes a few minor changes to the current Early Access build below: v 0.6.3 changelog -new title and logo! -new art for leapers -new art for fireworkers -changed colors of bouncyballs -fixed bug where snail mouths don't open after you ride them -firebugs no longer collide with fireballs -camera and wall no longer move back when you die -fixed bug where frozen character would sometimes appear when emerging from a berry hole -performance optimizations -minor level design tweaks
Another smaller patch, adding ability to disable 2FA on your account once setup. This can be crucial if you lose your phone and need to setup a new one (you use the recovery codes in this case) or your phone/code becomes compromised and you need to regenerate a new secret.
Also new command that makes it easier to login into the account.neos.com with Login 2FA protection enabled before the website is updated, just send /weblogin to the Neos bot and login to the website in the next 3 minutes!
Some small fixes as well, one causing a crash and another for the SignalR not reconnecting in some cases.
Compatible with previous build.
New Features:
- Added mechanism to disable 2FA on the account. This can be used to run the 2FA setup again, generating a fresh secret and set of recovery codes -- To disable, open the "Setup 2FA" dialog again after you have set it up on your account -- Deactivating will require either a 2FA 6-digit code or a recovery code -- If you lose your phone, you can use the recovery codes to setup a new one. We recommend disabling and re-enabling IMMEDIATELLY, as each recovery code is 1-use and you will run out of them quickly - Added /weblogin command, which temporarily (3 minutes) supresses account login 2FA requirement -- This can be used just before you want to login to account.neos.com, e.g. to edit Wiki Tweaks: - Merged Czech locale additions by @rampa_3 (UTC +1, DST UTC +2) - Merged Japanase locale update by @Aesc
Security:
- Fixed PlayOneShotAndWait causing stack overflow and crash Neos when playing the same clip after it has finished playing and the clip hasn't been loaded yet (@epicEaston197)
Bugfixes:
- Added custom reconnection logic to SignalR which will reconnect to the service in case the built-in reconnection logic fails -- This should fix cases of messages to being sent/received in case of connection interruptions (reported by @Banane9, @AshtonSparx, @Shadow Panther [RU/EN, UTC+3], @brodokk and @Froppy)
We’re delighted to announce that the recent in-game language error has been identified and fixed by House Party HQ! This will address the mismatched or “out of order” translation entries that many of you encountered and will offer minor improvements to translation quality and a few missing translations.
Please do keep in mind that none of these translations are currently fully complete.
There is also NOT a Steam update for these localization changes. To update the game, restart the House Party application and the new translations will download once you reach the Title Screen. It is possible that some brahs and babes with regional ISP blocks or other internet issues will not receive the update automatically.
If you have difficulties getting the localization to work, visit our Steam Discussions FAQ, the Bug Reports section, or our Discord server for more support and information: https://discord.gg/EAA9V2FtQH
Huzzah! You can confidently walk through the House Party doors once again, so come join Steph in the lounge for a celebratory dance, and don’t forget to open a bottle or two! ...When Frank isn’t looking, of course.
