Just wanted to announce that, due to some unforeseen problems and setbacks, the Blue New World Update will be delayed and will be released on the 5th of September. Although technically a continuation of the previous update, this update will be the biggest update yet, greatly expanding the world, improving performance and adding new amazing features to the game, which is why I am taking my time with it.
This new Live Sailing multiplayer race will be running every Saturday in eSail V2 from 10th July until the end of August. The first one is at 14.00 UTC.
We are currently giving points for all races completed by users which can be seen on the global leaderboard here: eSail server
To participate navigate a boat to the Shearwater Bay area. Note: you can easily add boats and sail them to different areas so you are ready for challenges.
Inside eSail go to Live Sailing Challenges.
Get practising now - we will soon be offering prizes!
NOTES:
You will need to register for multiplayer by editing your main (first) user inside eSail.
Further races will be organised depending on demand. To request a race for a specific date/time just get in touch on the Steam 'Multiplayer challenges' discussion.
A new update has just dropped that adds a new difficulty level. Gameplay improvements have been made and a number of major bugs have been fixed:
Gameplay: - Zen+ difficulty. More ships. +30% enemy HP. Good luck! - Each player ship can now have only 1 Start Multiplier. This has been offset be increasing the value gained from the 'More Multiplier' perk. - Ship stats have been re-balanced. This means most player ships should 'feel' better. However, because of the way the procedural system works, some ships might need a 're-roll' and therefore might change quite a bit.
Bug fixes: - Hangar screen can now handle unlimited ships. - Random crash on Game Over screen should now be fixed.
Stats: - Press 'D' in the options screen will dump your high score data to the debug.txt file. Handy to find the tracks with the best / highest score rate.
A big thank you to Ceph and the players on the discord server for suggestions, feedback and testing.
Welcome to the 40th Truck Mechanic: Dangerous Paths development post. We are very excited to share even more info about the development status. Today we want to share a handful of information.
The trailer revealed the mechanics that you will be able to use in the game. We're talking about wooden planks, which appear on the back of our truck. What can they be useful for? They will find many uses, we don't want to give everything away so that you can find the best solution for yourself after all. We can only reveal that if there are any significant bumps on the road, you already have a temporary tool to tackle them.
We didn’t stop there! We are working at full speed on the Prologue. Furthermore, we are polishing all the mechanics and eliminating all the encountered problems so that you can experience the game to the fullest.
We are increasingly considering implementing a photo mode, would you be interested in such functionality? Let us know in the comments.
As always, we encourage you to actively comment and share your feedback with us. Remember that all the screenshots, videos shown above are from a WIP build, they don’t reflect the final version of the game.
