1. Costume Re-packaging System (Costume Wrapping)
- A new function of repacking individual costume parts stored in your Fashion inventory will be newly added.
- Costumes can be re-packed as a package to use ‘Costume Wrapping’ when all Costume parts are owned.




- Re-packaging will only be available for SoulCash-purchased costumes.
- Costumes with brooches can be re-packed when the brooches get removed.
- Dyed Costumes can be re-packed again, remained as dyed color.
- The package will be tradable or possessed when being re-packed.
> Assuming that there are any costume parts possessed: The package will be possessed and untradeable; all costumes become possessed when reopening it.
> Assuming that there is any costume parts unequipped: The package will be tradable, and all costumes become tradable when reopening it.



- It will be easier to recognize Unpacked/Re-packed Costumes mentioned above:
- Costume packages will be purchasable in [Costume] – [Costume Package] Category when being registered to the Market.
☞ Our Operational Policy for costumes will be modified with the new function of the re-packaging system. (Costume Wrapping)
- SoulCash-purchased costumes will not be possessed until being unpacked.

3. Other Modifications
- Defeat Requirements in relation to Noah/Enoch for achievement have been modified.

- An error regarding ‘SoulStone Management’ UI of NPC Janice has been fixed. .
- An error regarding Craft limitation intro of Crafting UI has been fixed. (EN- Tenebris Only)
- An error regarding hidden fusion of stacked Akashic Records in players’ inventory has been fixed.
- Mistranslations regarding skill options & names / Costume names have been modified.

- An error regarding Lunar Fall Party Ranking Scores has been fixed.

DUSTING IT UP

Our team of programmers have been working on making Herogrinder arenas more organic, especially for outdoor terrains, where walls and floor tiles meet the dust ground of the base layer. We soon realized that our standard arena assets are too clean for this arena style and cutoffs between assets too sharp. The process has been automated using scripts to achieve the desired resuts:

The Dynasty season drawing nearer with each passing day. Soon you may cross the majestic Cloudward and Jiange Forts, and explore the mysterious eastern Longting region and the thriving Haojing.
Yet, even though the time is nearing, our designers are working hard to iron out the details. We're going to make the following changes to the Modao Battalion unit:

1. We envisioned the Modao Battalion as a 4-star unit, but are now upgrading it to a 5-star one.

After a series of tests, we have realized that its power far surpasses that of a 4-star unit. Instead of making larger changes, we're upgrading it to a 5-star unit. We trust that you all may make great use of this new unit in battle!

2. Following this change, will the Modao Battalion become more difficult to unlock?

In short, no. We have seen just how great your expectations are for this new unit, and we will not be adjusting the difficulty of acquiring it. The Modao Battalion will have the same unlock condition as that of a 4-star unit.

3. Then, will there be other changes to the Modao Battalion?

The Modao Battalion will require a bit less leadership when compared to other 5-star units. We are hoping to try bringing about a manner of change to Conqueror's Blade's warfare ecology with this change. This trial will also serve as a point of reference for how we decide to implement changes in the future. We will be exploring a variety of venues for change, including leadership, complexity, power, skills, and more. Feel free to share with us any feedback you may have on the topic!

4. Unit Challenge Quest Tuning

We aim to create a more diverse gameplay experience where a greater variety of units are used. To this end, we will be lowering the completion requirements of all seasonal unit quests by 2 for each phase. This means that you will need to complete 6 quests per phase for 3-star units (down from 8), 8 for 4-stars (down from 10), and 10 for 5-stars (down from 12). This should increase the speed at which you can unlock the units of previous seasons, and enable you to use a greater variety of units.
We will continue to fine-tune the gameplay experience units bring to the table, and improve upon them in any way we can.

New Weapon: Pike

Pike Info:

An all-new weapon will make its entrance with the new season: the pike.

Being an all-new weapon with its unique battle style and mechanics, we are sure that the pike will bring greater diversity to gameplay.

Skills:

Wandering Dragon:
Press once: Roll backward 5 meters and strike forward, dealing 40% of base slashing damage plus 557 points of slashing damage knocking back any units hit. Removes daze effects.

Press twice: Swirl and retreat 6 meters and strike forward, dealing 2 times 60% of base slashing damage plus 685 points of slashing damage, while also knocking back any units hit. Removes daze effects, and increases all damage and armor penetration by 15% for 5 seconds.

Press thrice: Take hold tail of pike and leap backward, retreating 8 meters. Removes daze, knockdown, and stun effects, and increases movement speed by 30% for 3 seconds.

Using skill after Victory skill: Swirl pike and attack all nearby enemies. Striking an enemy with the tip of pike deals 80% of base slashing damage plus 776 points of slashing damage, whereas the shaft deals 60% of blunt damage plus 952 points of blunt damage. Hit enemies a total of 3 times, and knock them backward.

This skill shares cooldown with other skills and can be weaved together with the phases of other skills.

Hidden Dragon:
Press once: Charge forward 3 meters, stopping upon coming into contact with an enemy, dealing 80% of base piercing damage plus 428 points of piercing damage.

Press twice: Charge forward another 5 meters, stopping upon coming into contact with an enemy, dealing 105% of base piercing damage plus 539 points of piercing damage.

Press thrice: Perform 3 swift jabs, then thrust spear forward once, each attack dealing52% of base piercing damage plus 758 points of piercing damage. The final thrust deals double damage and sends enemy units flying.

Using skill after Victory skill: Charge forward 6 meters without stopping, dealing 147% of base piercing damage plus 1848 points of piercing damage. Sends enemies units flying and knocks back enemy heroes.

This skill shares cooldown with other skills, and can be weaved together with the phases of other skills.

Soaring Cloud:
Press once: Perform a leaping attack, and when striking an enemy with the tip of pike, you deal 140% of base slashing damage plus 972 points of slashing damage, whereas the shaft deals 130% of base blunt damage plus 1051 points of blunt damage.

Press twice: Leap and strike your spear in a downward arc, dealing 175% of base blunt damage plus 1183 points of blunt damage.

Press thrice: Pound pike heavily downward, dealing 200% of base blunt damage plus 1868 points of blunt damage. Knocks back any heroes hit and knocks down any units hit.

Using skill after Victory skill: Raise pike and stab forward. If an enemy is hit, they will be lifted up and slammed down, dealing 180% of base piercing damage plus 1740 points of piercing damage.

This skill shares cooldown with other skills, and can be weaved together with the phases of other skills.

Victory Skill - Cold Dragon:
When used: Brandish pike and charge forward (protects against arrows aimed at front).
Press again or after charging 15 meters: Stop charging.
Deal damage a total of 6 times, each attack dealing 61% of base slashing damage plus 770 points of slashing damage.

Extra Effect: Removes daze and knock-down effects.
Extra Effect 2: Send enemy units flying and knock back enemy heroes.

Once the charge ends, press once more to use the final stage of other skills.

Victory Skill - Stormrend:
Charging up drains your stamina until you release.

When released: Charge forward and pierce enemies, rushing without stopping.
- Less than 0.5 seconds charge up: Charge forward 4 meters, dealing 146% of base piercing damage plus 1848 points of piercing damage.
- More than 0.5 seconds charge up: Charge forward 6 meters, dealing 183% of base piercing damage plus 2310 points of piercing damage.
- More than one second charge up: Charge forward 8 meters, dealing 293% of base piercing damage plus 3697 points of piercing damage.

Extra Effect: Removes daze and knock down effects.

While charging, press once more to use the final phase of other skills.

Having used a Victory skill, able to release the ultimate phase of other skills for a certain time.

When casting [Great Thunderbolt], you now have to hold down the button while moving, with the skill being used as you release the button. Previously you had to hold down while moving and use the left mouse button to use it.

Basic Attack:
Each basic attack phase has had its damage multiplier reduced by 20%.

Unit Changes

We will be changing the Ironcap Bowriders and Prefecture Pikemen units at the start of the season. During the season we will continue to change other units, including some high-tier ones.

Ironcap Bowriders:

1. A new skill [Rapid March]: Greatly increases movement speed.
2. A new skill [Double Shot]: Increases rate of fire, enabling you to shoot tons of arrows in a short amount of time.
3. A new passive [Harass]: Their bows reduce their enemies' piercing defence. Once stacked enough the enemy is affected by Hurt and Unrest.

Prefecture Pikemen:

1. We've improved their charge skill, tuning its speed and hitbox.
2. A new passive [Close Quarters]: Boosted their charge, and will now launch a series of attacks together following a charge.

Level Improvements

We have reduced the chance for the smaller Lesser Greenpeak, Frontier Camp, and The Storehouse Siege Battle maps from being chosen when matchmaking.

Level Fixes & Improvements

1. Resolved some known issues of the tutorial level to improve the overall experience. Changes mainly involve the following:
  1. Resolved an issue where some skill cooldowns were incorrect when battling against Rupert in the weapon tutorial.
  2. Resolved an issue where Rupert was erroneously prompted to have died upon leaving the gates in the weapon tutorial.
  3. Resolved an issue where some unit change help prompts were missing from the inner-city supply point on the Augolia tutorial level.

2. Improved some significant engines (including Battering Ram and Siege Tower) in certain levels. Now the moving siege engines are abale to block and knock back heroes and units – heroes will fall if they are riding.
 
Score Calculation Changes

We have noticed that not all contributions in battle are reflected in each Warlord's final score. This is why we're making the following changes to the scoring algorithm, giving an altogether better rating of performance:

1. Increased the maximum score that can be gained for 'Damage taken' in Standard Battles. As a Warlord takes more damage in a battle, the rate at which their score is reduced is also decreased.
2. We've also changed the MVP algorithm. MVP will now better reflect the Warlord's overall performance.

Death Info
Being unable to see how one died has been a thorn in the side for many a Warlord for some time. Fear not, this will no longer be an issue after the new season.
After dying, you may now press [T] to view your Death Info and see what killed you.



Equipment Crafting Changes

Attribute Changes

To improve the overall gameplay experience, we're changing attributes for crafted armors (helmets, armors, braces, and boots) in the following way:

Increased the chance of gaining multiple attributes when crafting. It will now be easier to craft equipment with crit rate, anti-crit rate, and leadership.

Hero Material Changes

In the current iteration of crafting, there are too many types of materials, and how to obtain these are too unclear and undirect. This has led to an artificial increase in difficulty for crafting equipment. So, to make the entire system easier to understand and use, smiths have further honed their craft. With the new season, Steel Plates and Steel Bars will be merged into a single item: Superior Steel. Furthermore, Paint & Lacquer, Wire & Thread, and Metal Rings will be also merged into a single item: Enameled Leather. Crafting formulae and salvaging gains will also be adjusted to reflect this change.

Meanwhile, Apothecary will have a limited weekly supply of the following hero materials castings at the prices and quantities listed below

Skill Page Changes

Rupert has been gathering and organizing the past battle experiences of many a Warlord. And have now been able to merge all previous skill page types into one.

Outdated skill pages will be converted into the new skill pages at a 1:1 ratio once the new season begins. These will be sent via mail. Whether an item is bound or not will not change after conversion. The number of skill pages required for unlocks remain unchanged.

Campaign Info
For this season, Campaign will be taking place in Longting, Liangyun, Maoyang, and The Borderlands. The season's core region is Maoyang. By occupying Daicheng, the region capital of Liangyun, you have a chance at attaining the title of Monarch. By occupying Anliang, the region capital of Maoyang, you have a chance at attaining the title of Hegemon. (A single player cannot earn both of these titles.)

Owing to the Qian Dynasty's forces in Longting, in that its capital, Haojing, cannot be contended for during this season.

Great Ambitions (7/8-7/25):

Available regions: Longting and Liangyun.
Longting can be chosen from the get-go, with Liangyun being accessible via border posts.

Rising in Flames (7/26-8/8):

Available regions: Longting, Liangyun, and Maoyang.
Border posts between Liangyun and Maoyang, and Longting and Maoyang will open on July 26th, 12:00 (Available to get open-up information via tips at Border posts on the World Map).

The Burning Lands (8/9-8/22):

Available regions: Longting, Liangyun, Maoyang, and The Borderlands.
Border posts between Liangyun and The Borderlands, and Maoyang and The Borderlands will open on August 9th, 12:00 (Available to get open-up information via tips at Border posts on the World Map).

Ode to the Chaos (8/23-9/5):

Available regions: Longting, Liangyun, Maoyang, and The Borderlands.
Daicheng (the capital of Liangyun) can be contended for.

The Supreme Glory (9/6-9/19)

Imperial Restorationists Changes

Auto-declaring War Against AI Fiefs:

Now, when the fiefs of AI factions are captured by Noble Houses, Imperial Restorationists of that region will automatically declare war against them.

Imperial Restorationists Time Display:

We have added a time display for when the Imperial Restorationists become available within the Imperial Restorationists menu, making it easier to see.

Penalties For Houses Leaving Alliances

Houses that leave or are kicked from an alliance will be unable to join or create another alliance for 72 hours.
 
World Map Changes

Border Posts:

1. Removed the operation needed to enter border posts. Passing border posts can now be done from the menu.
2. You may now check when border posts are available from its tooltip or by interacting with its menu.

Cross-region Migration Tokens:

Cross-region Migration Tokens regions will gradually become available as the season progresses. I.e., in this season's initial stages Cross-region Migration Token may be used to migrate to Liangyun and Longting. Once border posts to Maoyang open up, one can also migrate to Maoyang.

Improvements for Interaction with Stacked Units:

When interacting with units that are stacked in a tight bunch, you will open a menu where you may choose with which unit to interact.

Strategic World Map Warpaths

We will be adding strategic warpaths which should serve to somewhat alleviate the amount of communication within alliances.

These warpaths will be shown as connecting lines on the World Map, leading from alliance members to target fiefs. By watching these it will be possible to deduct the movements of other alliance members.



All in all, these warpaths should make it simpler to coordinate your conquest of the land!
 
Seasonal Runes


Info:

Runes are mysterious signs containing the wisdom of the gods which Viking shamans use to empower their warriors. Yet, merchants and traveling scholars soon discovered that as the people of the far east studied heaven and earth, they gained knowledge of the laws of the universe from which they garnered arcane understanding. The underlying principle of their newfound knowledge was very similar to that of the seemingly unorganized Viking runes.
They discovered the Heavenly Stems used to record the cycle of life and death, and the Earthly Branches used to record the passing of time. These they summarized into 'laws' that governed all things of heaven and earth and recorded in the forms of texts and images. Using these they could discern the reality of that which had come to pass, and of that which yet had to. They used this divination knowledge to avoid disaster and seek fortune and riches.

Today, Warlords may use this arcane knowledge to gain greater power during battle.

Runes may now also be equipped onto two new equipment slots: Hands and Boots.
All-new runes that are unlocked by ranking up your season level.
Weapon rune energy was previously capped at 6 and has been reduced to 5.
Armour rune energy was previously capped at 6 and has been reduced to 3.

  4. The fourth stage unlocks a unit-exclusive epic doctrine.
  5. The fifth stage unlocks a chibi avatar.

3. Modao Battalion (Complete 8 of the 10 quests of each stage):
  1. The first stage unlocks a 3-days trial.
  2. The second stage rewards Unit Medal x120.
  3. The third stage unlocks the unit itself.
  4. The fourth stage unlocks a unit-exclusive epic doctrine.
  5. The fifth stage unlocks a chibi avatar.

Unit Challenge Improvements

1. All season's unit challenges will have their stage completion requirements unified. You now only need to complete some of the challenges of each stage (e.g., 6 out of 8, or 8 out of 10). This removes the requirement of completing all challenges.

2. Unit challenges for the new season will have their difficulty reduced for a limited time, and will feature two completion requirements to choose from. Yet rest assured, should you be unable to complete these in time, you will still be able to complete these quests.

3. The reward for each stage will be increased in the new season, granting you more unit medals. This should make it easier to level up your new units.

4. We have also improved upon how to change between different seasonal challenges. You will no longer need to access the new season's menu to check this. Having selected a season, you may activate challenges for that season within the Season Challenges menu.



5. Unlocking the new units will also unlock their specific quests, which you can accept by talking to the Watchman. Cudgel Monks the Restless Mind quest, Grayhair Garrison the A Heart Divided quest, and Modao Battalion the National Loyalty. Completing their respective quests will reward you with an exclusive doctrine for that unit.


Fame System

Fame Treasury

Having earned the Fame of Qian Dynasty, you may talk to the [Frontier Soldier] NPC available in the various region capitals to access the Fame Treasury and browse its wares. (Items have fame requirements to purchase)

We've added a new series of Link equipment, with each piece having 8 leadership.
Frost Steel equipment will be removed from the Fame Treasury.


Acquiring Fame


You may earn the Fame of Qian Dynasty via the following ways:

1. Talk to the [Frontier Soldier] NPC in any capital and provide resource support. You may do so 6 times per week.

2. Playing Surround the Bandits (accessed via J).

Material Aid

Matchmaking and PvE battles will in the new season have a chance of rewarding [Cloth Armour Plate], [Scale Armour Plate], and [Light Armour Plate] during the season. These can be handed in to the [Frontier Soldier] in return for Qian Dynasty Fame.

Mercenary Improvements



During previous versions, auxiliary units were a weekly bonus that provided some manner of strength in battle. Naturally, as you gained more and more power, their relative value and use decreased. That is why we will be upgrading this feature in the new season. Our goal is to make them relevant for Warlords of all levels.

New Mercenary Mechanics:

1. Auxiliary units will have fixed levels depending on the unit's star level. 3-star units will be of level 8, 4-star of level 12, and 5-star of level 15. Once recruited, auxiliary units cannot be leveled up and all experience they gained will be added to your Shared XP Pool.

2. Auxiliary units will have pre-set doctrines and these cannot be socketed, removed, or upgraded.

3. Auxiliary units will also have pre-set veteran points and these cannot be altered.

4. All Warlords will have 600 initial auxiliary points (this is increased by 100 for premium accounts). 3-star units cost 200 points, 4-star units cost 300, and 5-star units cost 400.

5. Seven auxiliary units will be refreshed every week, including 3 3-star units, 4 2-star units, and 2 5-star units. You will be able to recruit any auxiliary unit whether you have unlocked them.

6. Seasonal units from previous seasons will also be part of the auxiliary unit rotation.

7. Auxiliary units you recruit will disappear when the following week's rotation becomes available. They will no longer be sealed like previously.

8. The requirements of hero levels for recruiting different star-rated Auxiliary units have been significantly reduced.

Sealed Auxiliary Units:

Once we roll out the new changes, Warlords with sealed auxiliary units will have these dismissed. We will be issuing compensation in the form of unit XP for this with the new season.
 
System Settings Changes

1. Added an option to shrink tooltips. You may now adjust the size of the tooltip window.
2. Added a Volumetric cloud setting under Graphics Settings.
