Awesomenauts - RonimoNiel

For the coming 2 weeks, every Awesomenaut will be made available to play for everyone, even if you don’t own or haven’t unlocked them!

Jump in to the game whether you would like to just try out a new Naut, or you’d like to try a new team composition for the upcoming Nutty Nauts Tournament, or it’s finally time for you to be the flex god you were always meant to be!

If you like to own a Naut you tried, you can purchase them with in-game currency that you earn through playing games, completing tasks, and levelling up. But you can also purchase them from Steam and this is a great chance to score anything Nauts related, whether it's an announcer, a cool skin, or a new Naut, since almost everything is marked 60% off! If you would like all of the Awesomenauts, why not go for the All Nauts Pack, which is also on (a smaller 25%) offer during the Steam Summer Sale. The All Nauts Pack also comes with an exclusive Lonestar skin – Goldstar, that’s only obtainable through owning the All Nauts Pack.

Like a new character but don’t feel like paying for the skins? You can also earn free skins by watching the Ronimo Streamisho on our Twitch Channel. We’re live every Monday and Thursday at 7pm CET. You get Roni Points by just watching, but you can earn more by engaging with chat and participating stream events! Once you have earned sufficient Roni Points, select a skin of your choice from the active rotation, open the Channel Points shop located underneath the chat box, and select the reward you would like to redeem. Some rewards, like the Medium Rare reward, have multiple options, so be sure to tell us which option you would like when you redeem the reward!
Shakes and Fidget - Leander Playa Games
Today is the day! Join us live on Twitch at 17:30 CET and watch our SHAKES & FIDGET BIRTHDAY SHOW hosted by M3lly: https://twitch.sfgame.net

We will enter the new Legendary Dungeon for the first time, there will be interviews with Thorsten from Playa Games (managing director), Marvin Clifford (creator of the S&F comics and Shakes and Fidget's dad so to speak) and Svenja from Gaming Aid (https://gaming-aid.de) which we will support with a Charity Stream. We will also have a special EBAY AUCTION for collector's number 1 of the Shakes & Fidget Collector's Edition and a coupon worth - yes, that's no typo - 121,212 mushrooms! The auction link will start working at 18:10 CET: https://www.ebay.de/itm/353547900449

Later, Mo and Mika will stream a Let's Play S&F and showcase and explore the Legendary Dungeon.
Of course there will be mushroom giveaways, too! The Legendary Dungeon will open its gates at 18 CET!

See you in the stream and have fun in the dungeon!
Hardspace: Shipbreaker - Netheos
Hello Shipbreakers!

As always, a massive thank you to everyone who jumped in to play the 0.5.0 update! In particular, thank you to the Players who took the time to provide us with detailed and constructive feedback on the update. We always take some time to watch how our updates go. Members of our team hang out in streams, on our Discord, or lurk in the Steam forums to make sure we are hearing / seeing your initial reactions to the latest update.

We love that the overwhelming response is that folks are enjoying the new challenge that Radiation brings, the cool “holo” stickers, and the visual overhaul of the HAB interface! However, there’s two consistent pieces of feedback on the HAB that we felt were important to address:
  • There’s a drop in visual quality and readability of the HAB UI
  • Loss of the visually interesting background; it’s just a black screen now
Let’s start with visual quality and readability. This new iteration of the HAB interface actually realizes one part of our initial vision for the HAB: that you are interfacing with a piece of low-grade LYNX technology to do all your employee duties. This matches the lo-fi, cassette-futurist aesthetic you’ll find elsewhere in the game. With this update, most of this lo-fi feeling is achieved with image effects applied on top of the interface in order to make it feel like an old CRT monitor (bloom, scanlines, chromatic aberration, etc.).

We personally adore the lo-fi visuals this brings, but also recognize that some players may not like it and, even more importantly, for some Players it adds a legitimate accessibility barrier. We’d like to improve on this right away, and so we have fast-tracked some work that was planned for the future: adding the ability to disable the screen effects in the HAB interface.

We are releasing this option (found in the Graphics tab of the Options menu) as a hotfix today.

This is something that was upcoming towards the end of Early Access, as part of our “Accessibility Options”, but we brought it forward to right now. We don’t want the readability of this screen to be the thing that impedes someone’s enjoyment or ability to play the game.

Alright, so let’s now talk about the loss of visual interest in the HAB. Some players have described the new UI as “cold”, or lacking the “homey” feel it had previously. We’d like to reassure you that we think this will be addressed in our next update, when we release the SECOND part of our final vision for the HAB: the 3D HAB. This 3D space is intended to be a cozy and comfortable break from the cold vacuum of the Salvage Bay, and in this space you will interact with a terminal to access the HAB UI you use now.

The 2D background of the previous HAB UI was meant to be a stand-in for this 3D space. Moving to 3D also allows the HAB UI to take up the full screen when in use, which is another move toward better accessibility and usability.

We’re aware of and are collecting additional feedback on the actual function and flow of the HAB UI, and will be looking at incorporating fixes and improvements for these issues in future updates. We’re always listening for feedback like this in order to improve the game for everyone as this is a quintessential part of why we opted for Early Access! We hope the Hotfix addresses the concerns expressed by some of you, and we hope the 3D HAB update coming soon will make visiting the HAB feel pleasant and cozy again!

Cheers,

Elliot Hudson

CryoFall - ai_enabled
=== CryoFall v1.30.7.3 (R30 Patch #2) ===

While we're working on the next major update (that will bring more endgame content and proper single-player experience/integrated local server besides plenty of other improvements and content), we also wanted to make many fixes and quality of life improvements available immediately to you with this patch.

Patch notes:

Improvements:
- PvE: Large circle barrier will appear during the event preparation timer (20 minutes). It will prevent players from getting closer to the boss spawn area (this way it's no longer possible to camp the boss spawn). Players and vehicles that are located inside this barrier during the event announcement will be automatically despawned to prevent them from getting stuck there
- Drone control: Improved target selection—you no longer need to point precisely on the object that you wish to mine
- Greatly improved the servers list loading speed and reliability. It will also immediately prioritize the selected tab to load (e.g., when a modded servers list is selected, its entries are loaded first instead of waiting for other tabs to finish loading). The server Refresh button is also always available now
- PvE: When a mech is destroyed (such as during the boss battle), its dropped remains (cargo, weapons) will be object-locked to the last pilot and its party (other players will be unable to take these items)
- Medical cooldown notification displays a list of actions that are not available during the cooldown
- Updated UI library NoesisGUI and network library LiteNetLib to the latest versions (fixes and optimizations)

Changes:
- Pragmium power plant: Increased the power output of each pragmium fuel rod from 8 to 10 EU/s
- Changed how the server items drop rate applied to gemstones, gold, etc. Increasing the server rate will increase the probability of obtaining such items instead of increasing the output amount. For instance, playing with x5 items rate will provide a single gemstone 5 times more often (in the previous version it provided x5 gemstones but as rare as with the default drop rate)
- PvP: Increased structure relocation distance (in PvE it's already much larger)
- Farm plots cannot be placed under other structures
- Local server: Removed PvE boss event preparation timer as it's useful only for multiplayer PvE servers
- In faction-owned land claims, only players with the land claim management permission will be able to complete the structure blueprints

Server settings:
- Added console command to kick/ban the whole faction (useful for servers like CryoSmall and CryoFive)
- Access lists (whitelist/blacklist) now moved to the SettingsServer.xml file to provide persistence between the savegames
- Introduced separate item droplist rate for Space debris and Meteorite: DropListItemsCountMultiplier.ObjectMeteorite, DropListItemsCountMultiplier.ObjectSpaceDebris
- LandClaimsPerLevel server rate limit reworked to remove the lower limit of at least 1 land claim per faction level
- Limited the default max door owners number to 5

Fixes:
- Switching to a protected PvP server ("no-mods") while having any UI active mods sometimes resulted in broken UI
- PvE: Base guests can access doorbells and toilets (no permission required!)
- PvP: Faction-owned land claim continues to show "under attack" status after the raid is over
- PvP: Turrets were able to attack players on hoverboards that are behind a wall below
- Japanese translation: Remaining status effect duration didn't fit under the status effect icon
- Leaving a mech while firing its weapon sometimes resulted in firing the new weapon from the hotbar (it was visible only for other players)
- Fixed various crashes when scrolling the servers list

If you're hosting a community server, you need to install this patch to allow the updated client to connect. Please follow this guide to update your server.

If you cannot connect to a community server because it's not updated, you can switch to the previous client version in Steam Client. Click with the right mouse button on the game in your Steam library, open Properties, select BETAS tab, and choose "legacy-r30-v0.30.6.8" in the dropdown menu.

Comic Company Manager - Substandardshrimp
Unfortunately the game balance was tuned to be little too easy. Hopefully this will make it more interesting
Balance Update
Changes:
  • Decreased reader amount
    • The original amount was made with more comics being sold at the market in mind. It will go back when AI can create more comics
    • This also will make the game run little faster
  • Added Difficulties
    • Affects how much money you gain from selling comics. Old amount is now "easy"
  • Changed how reputation works
    • Reputation was rising much faster than intended resulting in comics rising in popularity too fast. The system is completely overhauled
  • Increased worker salaries
    • maybe they got a better union or something
  • Increased rent

  • Decreased player starting skills
Fixes:
  • Worker morale wasn't being affected by success of comics

  • Reports hopefully fixed
    • There were issues determining the correct month to get the report from
  • You should no longer get negative comments from reviewers when they give you high score
    • This was not really a bug but intended. However I got enough comments saying they people don't like it so I decided to change it

Thymesia - Jonno
Hey everyone,

Following the release of our 'A World of Plague and Alchemy' trailer last week we've been taking a quick look at abilities in Thymesia and how they alter your combat style.

We'll be doing deeper dives into the two core different ability types on the lead-up to launch, including the range of abilities available, how they behave in combat as well as how you can unlock them.

Until that time comes though, here's a preview...

Plague Abilities - Ranged in action

Thymesia's 'Plague Abilities' are powerful moves that the player learns by cleaving them out of the enemies they face.

From area of effect damage, to knockdowns, chaining and creating distance they all bring something unique to your skill-set.

Below you can see one of the available ranged Plague abilities in action:

Corvus Abilities - Feather 'Blink' in action

In Thymesia we're keen to empower our players with the ability to tailor combat to their own playstyle.

For example Corvus' feathers can be used to interrupt heavy (red highlighted) attacks for a defensive approach, or as shown below used as an aggressive gap closer to re-engage an enemy and continue their onslaught.

That wraps up today's post! We look forward to sharing more with you in the near future!

If you liked what you saw and would like to support Thymesia ahead of our launch later this year you can add us to your Steam Wishlist:

Thank you!
