Blast Brigade vs. the Evil Legion of Dr. Cread - Eno Derosso


After investigating the backstory of Jeffrey J. Jefferson, we now know that this agent is somewhat of a dashing trouble-maker with a daring personality, coupled with a carefree attitude and a penchant for explosions. Not that this mischievous assortment of traits makes him any less of a cool spy, of course. On the contrary, he wholeheartedly channels all of his skills to the benefit of the missions assigned by B.L.A.S.T…. with mixed results.



Like other B.L.A.S.T. agents, Jeff is in great physical condition, meaning he can overcome obstacles by jumping, double-jumping, and dashing. He can even hang off walls! Some of these actions, however, require special equipment. With it, Jeff can fully explore levels and navigate his way through platforms with ease to escape from his enemies.

Yet, as you can guess from Jeff’s personality overview, he is not big on escapes and tactical retreats, instead preferring a direct approach and reckless confrontations. Jeff is versatile with many of the weapons present in the game, and he gets a kick out of blasting things. His weapon of choice speaks volumes about the consideration he has for his enemies.



It’s a grenade launcher! A weapon truly befitting the image of B.L.A.S.T.. With this explosive weapon, Jeff fires a shot that follows a unique trajectory, and after a few seconds, the grenade explodes. It’s efficient, flashy, and fun - what more can one ask for?

The grenade launcher also has some tactical use. Jeff can fire it at certain doors to create passages and open up new routes! Like other Blast Brigade heroes, Jeff can use weapons to unlock doors, lower cargo, and bring down elevated platforms by breaking chain links connected to them, allowing him to progress to new levels and hidden areas. Jeff’s an all-round resourceful guy if you wanna stick with him!

All good things come to an end. We hope that you enjoyed the technical beta of Bum Simulator!

Thank You all for submitting your opinions - your feedback was both helpful and inspiring. It seems we have just a handful of bugs to take care of - they shouldn't take us more than a month to fix.

We've got a massive list of changes, for the new iteration of the game. I've focused on fixing as many bugs as possible (focusing on the most annoying/game-breaking stuff first), but also adding a lot of slick additions to improve overall gameplay and comfort.

We aim to push this game version to the main branch as soon as possible! So we can work on releasing the new dungeon content,

Features
Enemy life bars have been added, they will show in combat to help you indentify enemy health status. You can also turn this feature off in Settings menu.

Improvements
  • [Arts] Environment art overhaul in Chapter 1.
  • [UI] Swimming oxygen level UI has been improved so that you can read it more easily without telling the color.
Fixes
  • Made sure all doors are closed during boss fight in a certain scene.
  • Fixed that NPC's sight may be blocked by its own physics proxy sometimes.
  • Fixed that some setting options can not be reset by the 'Default' button in 'Settings' menu. (Notice: Some options (Language, Window Type, Resolution) will not be reset through this way because you might want to control them indenpendently.)
  • Fixed that one certain mission can never be completed in Chapter 2.
Compatibility
Previously saved game files are NOT compatible with this update.
Cepheus Protocol - Halcyon Winds


Hotfix just went out - 0.7.114.2
  • Fixed an issue with command buttons 'locking in' a building type, resulting in 'medical truck' replacing grenades, etc.
  • Added safeties to counteract two reported crashes
  • Increased the Move order distance so issuing move orders/selection orders from an extremely high altitude still works
  • Fixed distance culling on some objects.
  • Applied the Crane and Ammo deploy buttons to the Atlas variants (still need undeploy variants, and a unique form for the fuel-only Atlas)
  • Fixed units with radio access still allowing call-ins in their radius if they succumb to infection conversion
  • Improved AI targeting logic:
  • Resolved an issue that was causing targets to be 'wrongfully dropped early' due to the AI thinking that more time had passed than had actually passed
  • Improved logic for threat-checking to do most checks (including threat evaluation) prior to LOS check, resulting in a lot of unnecessary Line of Sight checks being skipped now
  • Improved threat-checking logic to say we can 'see' a target if the Line of Sight to it is blocked by another valid target (i.e. if an infected is in the way of another infected, the LOS will now say 'I can see it'). This greatly helps with targeting infection pods.

**Public Build** - *Default vanilla build you get on first purchase. It has shifted to add the capture trucks & new infection system. No factions are present yet*
**Public Beta** - *Factions testing ground. Capture trucks turned off because they break factions has the new infection system live in it as well now . Will get more tweaks and improvements in the coming 1-2 weeks as we verify path finding/optimization is up to the level they need to be . Then we will focus on Pierce's faction first(Police) first then eventually Natalie. *
**Experimental** - *Officially closed for now as we shift to purely focusing on the Public Build & Public Beta. I.E Factions and further polish*
