Sea of Thieves Season Three launches later this month, and with it comes Sea of Thieves: A Pirate’s Life – an epic original story that brings Captain Jack Sparrow and his crew sailing in from beyond the horizon to spark new adventures spanning five narrative-driven Tall Tales.
Following its announcement at E3 with a stunning cinematic trailer, we’ve already hinted at what’s in store for those brave buccaneers ready to stand alongside Jack Sparrow in one of the Sea of Thieves’ greatest battles yet. Today’s special Xbox broadcast catches up with the teams behind this magical collaboration to offer some rousing insights into its creation. Team members from both Rare and Walt Disney Games talk freely about the vision, the ambition, the care and attention poured into every aspect of this dream crossover – and just some of the features they’re most excited for fans of both franchises to experience.
The special broadcast also dives deep into the gameplay of the first two Tall Tales where players will brave the Sea of the Damned, amongst many other challenges, and teases more about what’s to come when Sea of Thieves: A Pirate’s Life headlines Season Three at launch on June 22.

Patch v1.2 - Stealth mechanics update now live! To celebrate the stealth update for AKAI NOROI the game is 50% off for two weeks running from June 22th 12:00 pm ( US Pacific time ) to July 6th 12:00 pm!
This update brings new mechanics to AKAI NOROI and implements stealth mechanics in many of the levels, the sleeping quarters, the basement domain of the yurei, AIKO's School & the sewers section.
This will enable the player to hide from enemies in various ways including lockers, crevices and under tables. This is done in order to make the game a bit easier during some sections and give the player a chance to catch their breath and explore the environment more as well as dig into the lore pages hidden within the areas. Thanks to all the players for your feedback.
Patch notes:
UI Updates in almost the entire game and new red colored theme.
AI tweaks / balancing.
Stealth mechanics in various levels, you can now hide in lockers, crevices and under tables.
Minor fixes + Trigger hints near some puzzles.
Some new scares / audio.
Big thanks to all who support me! My next project is called CATACOMBIA and you can already wish-list the game on Steam if interested!
The Destiny Troop Ship navigating one of the many mined regions of Genari space
Congratulations to the Sol Imperial Worlds for successfully defeating the opposing three races, first taking out the Hive, then pushing forward through the battle-hardened Genari United Empire, and finally to the 'impregnable' Ma'Alaketh Confederation Dyson Sphere. Bravus, Thulsa Doom, Jerbear, Beo, Kingkong, and AlterEgo were the key players who helped Sol win the server. Zeranghi, Hook, and AmishJoe tried fighting back as Genari, and Bosh'tet, Zapp, Equaa held strong against the Sol fleets as Ma'alaketh. Though the Hive has dominated and won many servers, it was one of the first to buckle against Sol this time. All top ranked and most active players win 100 to 4000 credits that carries over for use on future servers, along with associated legacy medals.
The new Andromeda server starts the game fresh with a few updates:
Genari Marine skill Update: Explosive Pods
Now the Marine Commander of a ship can jury-rig the marine pods to explode on contact with an enemy ships' hull. It can be quite useful against the Hive, since marines are ineffective against them. Four Skill Levels: Explosive Pods I-IV: Pods are empty of marines, but have been loaded with explosives. Does 1-4 damage on contact with shield or hull.
Explosion Radius of Ships now Extended to 8 hexes (8000km).
When a ship explodes, it does splash damage to nearby ships, based on its original power levels. The range is now extended from four to eight hexes, but the damage itself is still at the same values.
Listening posts appear on the archipelago this update adding faction smuggling contracts. Faction smuggling contracts work similarly to normal smuggling contracts except enemy factions will be notified when one is started in or to their territory and influence will be rewarded upon completion.
Once a faction controls the territory of a listening post, a special option will appear in the faction facility menu. The new "Enemy Intelligence" option pings the heaviest rival faction ship's current location on the map for all members of your faction. If the rival faction controls a listening post of their own, they will be notified when this option is activated.
Listening posts will wrap up the long series of faction focused updates. Small features may arrive over time but for now faction gameplay supports a wide enough breadth of activities and PvP opportunities to go without constant attention.
Added a new faction facility, listening posts, across the archipelago.
Minor Features
Added a faction and influence tutorial.
Added faction smuggling contracts available at listening posts.
Added "Enemy Intelligence" option available at listening posts your faction controls. Enemy intelligence pings the largest rival faction ship on the map. If the other faction controls a listening post they will be notified they have been pinged.
Bug Fixes
Fixed map location details overflowing on the sidebar.
Hello everyone, and welcome to another hot update for all things Luckless Seven.
Continuing our efforts to expand the artwork showcasing the world of Luckless Seven, we have a new scene in development showcasing our favorite party members Bertrand and Jamie standing in front of the Amethyst Casino. It's been a couple of months since we released our previous Dev Log #63.

We really feel that the Amethyst area is one of our showcase environments, and we’re really excited to see it brought to life outside of the game. We are also working on showcasing some more slice-of-life scenes with close-ups of some of the characters going about their lives. We hope to have more to share soon.
On the game development side, things are proceeding nicely on some of the last remaining areas the player will visit. One of these areas will be a grand cruise ship!

Caption: Palm trees on a boat? Oh yes!
Although everything looks bright and sunny on this ship, let’s just say Mark isn’t here to soak in the pool. Some of the most difficult opponents in the game will be encountered here, and the main story will be at one of its most tense points here.

While we are on the topic of finishing certain parts of the game, our soundtrack is also nearing its completion. Our talented composer Brandon has released what has already become one of our favorite additions to the soundtrack. You can probably guess where this piece will play during the game - let’s just say it contains elements of many of our previous tracks.
