In late 2019, we held the first ExileCon convention in Auckland, New Zealand. ExileCon gave us a great opportunity to experiment with new merchandise for Path of Exile such as the Celestial Cat Socks, Exalted Orb Foam Balls, various plush toys and a lot of different t-shirt designs. We sold much of this merchandise during ExileCon but we do have some very limited stock left over, and have been trying to find a fair way to make it available to players who were unable to attend the event. Today's news post details our plan.

For many merchandise items, we had to hit minimum quantity thresholds in order for them to be possible. So we knew we were going to be left with a few hundred thousand dollars of merchandise that we'd need to sell after the event. We're not able to handle the logistics of running a general merchandise store ourselves at the moment, and we also worry that the best items would sell out instantly. We tried to find a straightforward way to sell all of the remaining stock and make it available for purchase for anyone who may have missed out on being able to attend in person. We would rather that this money was being spent on development rather than filling up a storage unit.

We have packaged the merchandise into Mystery Bags that are identified by their shirt sizes. When you buy a bag of a specific shirt size, you're guaranteed at least two Path of Exile t-shirts (in different designs) and one plushie. The other items in the bag are also random and are picked to top the value up so that all the bags are worth approximately the same amount. For clarity, these bags do not contain any past exclusive supporter pack physical merchandise. It's just the merchandise that we made for ExileCon. Each ExileCon Mystery Bag contains at least its face value in merchandise, with a chance to receive items that are in lower stock or higher demand. Unfortunately, we cannot offer to sell specific merchandise directly or to let people choose which random outcome they get, as the most popular pieces of merchandise are also the ones we have the fewest left of.

The bags are priced at $100 USD + shipping (and sales tax if you're in New Zealand). If you want to buy one, contact merch@grindinggear.com and let them know your address and your desired shirt size (you can't pick which specific mystery bag outcome you'll get, only your shirt size). They'll calculate a total and will send you a payment link. If you pay within 24 hours, you'll be locked in. Otherwise it'll go to the next person in the queue. Because these may sell fast, there's initially a limit of one bag per customer.


Please note that there are no hoodies left in stock and they are not included in the mystery bags.

Below, you can find the nine possible random outcomes for each mystery bag purchase. Below that, you can view what quantity of each outcome is available for each shirt size.

Himno - The Silent Melody - David Moralejo Sánchez


Hello everyone once again! As the title says, you can play Himno The Silent Melody Demo right now!

The entire Himno community is currently commenting on the game here, in the Official Himno's Discord, so if you have any questions or ideas that you would like to be in the game, do not hesitate to write it there.

You can now destroy the terrain making new paths and strategies to fight or travel. There will be hidden secrets in some districts!

Tactical Breach Wizards Playtest - Pentadact
In 24 hours we'll shut down the current beta. Once it's over, you won't be able to play, or access the feedback form. We'd love for you to fill that out with your impressions, so perhaps you could do it now! It's accessible from the in-game menu any time you hit Escape. Every question on the form is optional, so you can just fill out the bits you have thoughts on / time for.

Draw & Guess - Acureus
- Fixed a bug in the word editor (The "More?" button did not work)
- Lobby Owners can now set whether other players can vote for game modes (default is off)
- Fixed a bug that when a player reconnected in synchronous mode, they would not see lines drawn after their disconnect

Next, we'll work on integration of Steam China (which will hopefully further improve connectivity issues) as well as the lobby list that many people have been asking for. :-) Stay tuned!
To The Rescue! - LittleRockGames
We're aware there there have been quite a few bugs that have cropped up during the demo, and we've spent the day squashing as many as we could! A new version of the demo should be ready to update with a handful of fixes.

Fixes
  • Fixed issue where Sandbox toggle from debug menu only works the first time the menu is loaded.
  • Fixed issue preventing starting a new game after the first time the menu is loaded.
  • Player no longer gets stuck in narrow spaces between kennels.
  • Fixed issue causing volume settings to be reset between sessions.
  • Can no longer take and return dogs from adopting visitors.
  • Addressed some save/load issues, such as dogs being less likely to be loose on load (still being improved).

Balance Tweaks and Changes
  • Enabled tutorial panels for story mode segments
  • Slightly adjusted tick rate
  • Reduced poop frequency by 66%
  • Enabled Sandbox button on main menu to jump past the story cutscenes


Working To Fix/Known Issues
  • Visitors won't leave after adoptions for some players (related to nav mesh issues)
  • Day ends and timer continues into negative but no end of day summary screen
  • Community Event stuck on black screen when resolved.
  • Companion highlight issue
  • Loading a save can cause the nav mesh to be incomplete
  • Returning to the main menu from character select makes it impossible to start game
  • After 2nd day dogs may stop eating/drinking/become difficult to leash. (related to nav mesh issues)
  • Some visitors cannot be spoken to

Workarounds
  • Camera stuck in some instances. Added a button in the menu to reset camera which should fix offset camera and black screen issues.
  • If the dogs start to do "the wave" and stop eating/drinking go to the shelter construction and click the "checkout" button. Don't ask why, but it works!
  • If the player gets stuck, look for the "reset position" button from the pause menu

We are going to do what we can to keep fixin', and probably do at least one more patch on the demo to fix the most critical issues.

Severed Steel - Cow_102
Quick post to let everyone know the Severed Steel demo has just been updated and is now available to play in all the following languages:

English, French, Italian, German, Spanish (Spain), Finnish, Japanese, Korean, Polish, Portuguese, Portuguese (Brazil), Russian, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, Turkish, Hungarian.

In addition to the new languages, a previous patch, which was released yesterday, made the following fixes/changes:

- Fixed leaderboard scores getting overwritten
- Fix for kick slides sometimes getting stuck on edges
- Fix for guns sometimes jamming
- Escape now closes pause menu
- Loads of performance tweaks
