After we announced Endless Dungeon last year, we were thrilled to see so much excitement for our upcoming game in our community. However, one question kept coming up, especially among fans of Dungeon of the Endless: How do you balance the top-down action with planning and tactical decision-making? Or in other words, how do you preserve the spirit of Dungeon of the Endless in this spiritual successor?
Our new trailer takes a brief look at this question, and answers it in the form of four basic rules of survival in the Endless Dungeon according to Zed:
Rule 1: Know Your Enemies
The creations of the Endless on this station are many and varied. Some may be small and numerous, others large and imposing, but most importantly they are all quite dangerous, so you would do well to stop them quickly. Whatever you’re facing, you need to remember the strengths and weaknesses of your enemies and bring the right tools for the job.
A big gun that shoots lightning bolts might slice through tough robotic enemies, but it might not do so hot against the countless creepy crawlers bearing down on you. So when the swarm comes knocking, you better put away the lightning gun and kill it with fire instead!
That's a big gun, but the bugs don't seem particularly impressed.
Rule 2: Defend Your Crystal
To unravel the secrets of this ancient space station and learn to escape its endless cycle, you will need to power its systems with a mysterious crystal. While the Crystal is invaluable to your quest, it’s unfortunately not terribly robust, and it attracts a lot of attention (as large concentrations of Dust tend to do). You really don’t want a horde of monsters gnawing on it, but if you are to get anywhere in your exploration of this place, you really can’t stick around and babysit it. That’s where the turrets come in: Since you can’t be everywhere at once, you’ll have to protect the approaches to your crystal with a variety of turrets, secure choke points, and prepare a route to the next leg of your journey.
Rule 3: Check Your Buddies
In a floating wreck filled with mysteries and monsters, it’s dangerous to go alone, so take some friends with you, and never split the party… unless you have to. Even keeping rule #2 in mind, you may still need to cover multiple directions, so you can’t group up and face every threat together, but you should always keep an eye on your buddies and how they’re doing. Our heroes are exceptional individuals with a great deal of experience (and possibly Dust-enhanced powers), yet even they might just not have the firepower to push back the onslaught, so be ready to move and help out in a pinch. Between your weapons and your abilities, focusing the attention of two or three heroes in the same spot is sure to see you through.
They're watching each others' backs, but it seems their defenses were not strong enough.
Rule 4: Adapt Your Squad
Even if you have mastered the first three rules, you might still fail sometimes, overwhelmed by wave after relentless wave of enemies. At times like these, the odds might seem insurmountable, and you might be tempted to quit, but perhaps it is simply time to let one of your heroes catch a break and rethink your team. Whether it’s raw firepower or survivability you need, a different group of heroes might just bring the skills (and perhaps synergies) you need to succeed.
Well, once more from the top...
We hope you enjoyed this brief look at how to survive, and maybe even thrive, in Endless Dungeon. And don’t forget you can still vote for the band’s name, and the bonus skin you get for subscribing to the newsletter.
Patch notes for this hotfix: - Fixed achievement for Road Block not unlocking - Fixed an issue with time trial leaderboards not being updated under some circumstances
Due to an attack on our servers on June 13th, 19:00-21:00 (UTC+8), some players on Jaderock Creek were disconnected. We have now resolved the issue with an emergency fix. We are terribly sorry for those that have been affected by this, and to thank you all for your understanding and support we will be issuing you the following compensation:
The compensation will be issued to all characters created on Jaderock Creek before June 13th and that logged in between June 13th, 00:00 and June 14th, 00:00 (UTC+8).
We will continue striving to bring you the best experience we possibly can, once again, thank you for your understanding and support!
Enemy body impact sounds louder when falling greater distances.
Some equippable melee weapons can be thrown at / stabbed and left inside of enemies. The weapon will return to its holster after 7 seconds unless it's grabbed again before that. A melee weapon can be holstered by letting it go near its assigned holster.
Pipe bombs can be detonated by other pipe bombs and by being shot.
Adjusted pistol recoil settings to give a smoother feel and to mitigate a recoil-related bug some users were experiencing.
Fixes
Enemies no longer occasionally enter A-pose when dying.
Bug fix for enemy death physics.
Various collision meshes improved for better performance and accuracy.
Round options menu made more performant.
Fixed a glitch where left-handed shooters could reload the shotgun instantly.
Fixed a glitch where catching a shotgun shell in the loading port while holding it with the right hand would cause it to return to the holster.

Welcome to the newest patch for Infinity Wars Classic, Pre-Alpha version 0.33. Our biggest focuses for this patch have been the new Demo mode that just went live earlier today, as well as the reworked resolution phase, which has been several months in development.
Patch Notes
Major Features
Demo Mode We have added a Demo Mode for players to get a preview of Infinity Wars classic for those that are not subscribed to our Patreon campaign, this gives only single-player preset decks that you can try out a small fragment of the game against AI opponents. We'll be looking at a full free to play launch once the game is further along in it's development, but for now this should make a nice hit of nostalgia to old players, or a good way to try it before you buy it as someone considering becoming a Patron subscriber. Regardless, it's now sitting on the main branch of Infinity Wars 1, so you should be able to get in super easy. Enjoy!
Trading Post and Mulligan Changes The Trading Post has undergone a massive rework, restored to it's former IW1 functionality, cards are now drawn instantly for the trading post and Mulligans now work the same as in IW1 and you can mulligan any number of times on the first turn. Do note that Trading Post actions cannot be undone. Trading post actions now happen before any other triggers or effects in resolution.
Resolution Rework The resolution phase has undergone a large rewrite of it's codebase, allowing us to support more gamemodes and projects in the Infinity Engine, as well as bring the order of resolution in IWC into line with IW1, without disrupting IH. Triggers can now also interrupt the resolution phase at any time, allowing us to add more VFX and feedback to different triggers such as "On Enters Combat" or "On Attack" triggers.
Trigger Rework In conjunction with the resolution rework, we also have done a large rework of the trigger system, allowing us to grant temporary or permanent triggers via our modifier system, this allows us to make many new types of cards and many old cards that were previously difficult to implement.
Click To Continue Resolution Option To help assist players in complex board states or those newer to the game, we have added multiple "Click to Continue" resolution options that will pause the resolution phase during triggers and effects until you wish to continue. This can be enabled for just your opponent's cards, all cards, or disabled. See the Options Menu dropdown.
Minor Features:
Turn Timer Syncing - Multiplayer turn timers will now synchronize much more accurately as well as work with both the "click to continue" resolution and fast forward options.
Balance Changes:
Xac's Demon Form changed from 15/15 Consume 2 and "If Xac kills a character as a Lord of the Pit, that Character's controller must sacrifice a Character next turn. This effect can only happen once per turn." to 16/16 Consume 6 and Plunder 1.

Update 0.10.5 brings a new temporary battle type—the "Grand Battle." Its unique feature is the super battleships it allows you to helm.
The destruction of legendary battleship Yamato by aircraft carriers presaged the domination of deck aviation in naval warfare. Super battleships are the ships that might have existed if shipbuilding had moved toward the development of main batteries as the primary decisive factor of battle.
Two super battleships will be available to you in the Grand Battle:
Satsuma is a project based on X Yamato with reinforced primary armament—510 mm guns in four twin-gun turrets.
Hannover is a version of the H-42 project with 483 mm guns in four twin-gun turrets and her secondary battery replaced with dual-purpose artillery with a caliber of 128 mm.
Rules
Timing: from 11:00 to 02:00 CEST (UTC+2).
You can take part in the Grand Battle only during the time period specified for your server.
Battle format: 9 vs. 9, playing Tier IX–X ships (including super battleships)
Restrictions: no more than three super battleships per team
Every battle will feature at least one super battleship per team.
If the waiting time spent by the first player in the queue exceeds 3 minutes, the teams in the Grand Battle can be complemented with bots.
All players who have reached Access Level 12 can participate in the Grand Battle.
How to Take the Super Battleships Into Battle
Once Update 0.10.5 is live, you will receive Satsuma and Hannover as rental ships.
To enter a battle at one of their helms, you will need a new temporary resource—Intelligence Reports. This way, you will both play super battleships and play against them. It will also help the matchmaker assemble teams for battles faster.
There are several ways to earn Intelligence Reports:
You can earn 3 Intelligence Reports per Grand Battle playing Tier IX and X ships. Active players will receive them regardless of a victory or defeat. However, you won't get any Reports if you're inactive in battle.
After the release of Update 0.10.5, you'll get Intelligence Reports each day on your first login—19 Reports the first time, then 3 Reports daily.
You'll need 14 Reports to take a super battleship into battle. It means that you'll have enough Reports to take one of the super battleships into battle as soon as the update releases. Satsuma and Hannover themselves don't earn any Intelligence Reports from battles.
Please note that the number of Intelligence Reports you can earn in a battle, as well as the number of Reports that's necessary to play a super battleship, might change.
Adjustment Fire
When playing the super battleships, you can try a new game mechanic—adjustment fire. It grants a temporary boost to the super battleships' characteristics in battle. Satsuma receives a bonus to the accuracy of her main battery; Hannover receives a bonus to the range, accuracy, and reload time of her secondary battery.
To activate the bonuses, you need to fill a special meter by carrying out adjustment fire at any locked target. Each turret salvo that hits a target or splashes near it is taken into account.
As soon as the meter fills, the temporary bonus activates automatically. You can use it an unlimited number of times in a battle.
If your ship ceases firing for a certain amount of time, the progress of the adjustment fire meter gradually resets. It doesn't reset while the bonus is active.
The new mechanic allows you to reinforce your ship right in the heat of battle, but you'll need to plan your actions and positioning in advance to use this feature to maximum effect. We hope that it will make the gameplay more interesting and diverse!
Combat Missions and Rewards
With the release of Update 0.10.5, special combat missions will become available. Completing them will reward you with Dazzling expendable camouflages, the Grand Battle patch, and the Grand Battle commemorative flag. Starts:Wed. 16 Jun. 07:00 CEST (UTC+2) Ends:Wed. 14 Jul. 07:00 CEST (UTC+2)
Detailed information about the mission completion criteria can be found in the game client.
