Nummels - Plattnip
Come on over to the Nummels store page on June 22nd at 6PM Pacific! I'll be playing through the full version of the game (probably not every level), and then I'll probably do a dev stream for a bit where you can see what the process looks like while I'm working on the game. I'm also planning to do dev streams for an hour or so each night of the event from the 16th to the 22nd at around 6 or 7PM Pacific on weekdays, 2PM on Saturday and Sunday.
Waste Walkers - Corrosion
Waste Walkers,

This update is for owners of the Chaotic Wastes expansion.

This feature was requested in Lawless Lands and implemented very late last night, but now it is in Waste Walkers as well.

Update 2.1.2 Change Log:

Changes & Additions:
-Added the option to choose your own world modifiers instead of just having them randomized

Enjoy!

Ascendants Rising - jmarquez
Greetings Incarnates,

We are very excited to release this first update for the Closed Beta, and we want to thank everybody who took the time to provide us with feedback.

With this update, we want to shift the testing focus to the Coliseum.

With this update, you will find:

The Coliseum:

In the Coliseum, Incarnates fight to prove themselves worthy.

This is a 4 Player Game Mode where you will be facing a series of 3 randomized Bosses.

You will need to assemble a team including 1 Protector, 1 Healer, and 2 Strikers to prevail.

To access the Coliseum, a new temporary “Sessions” Test Menu has been made available. From there, you can create a Coliseum test server for 4 players.

Note that the test servers will only start once 4 players have joined.

Frost Golem

For this first testing session, your only adversary will be the Frost Golem.

As we move forward, in the next update, we will add new Bosses and swap which enemies are available for testing in the Coliseum.

The Frost Golem is your run-of-the-mill starting Boss. It is meant to be simple to understand while offering a substantial challenge.

Frost Golem Abilities:
  • Weakening Ritual
Creates an 3 meter zone for 3 seconds at the tank's location. When the zone expires, it deals 2500 damage to the player in it and applies Weakness.

If there are no players located in this zone, it deals 3000 damage to all players.

Weakness: Increase damage taken by 50% for 30 Seconds.
  • Cursed Water
Launch a projectile that applies Cursed Waters.

Cursed Waters: Last for 6 seconds; when it expires, it creates an 8 meter area at the location for 3 seconds.

When that zone expires, it creates an 8 meter area that deals 240 000 damage over 120 seconds.
  • Wave
Create an 10 meter wide Wave that sweeps the Arena, dealing 5000 damage to players it impacts.
  • Toxic Corals
Creates an 8 meter area that lasts for 3 seconds. When it expires, it creates an 8 meter area that deals 240 000 damage over 120 seconds.
  • Snowstorm
An arena wide area that deals 100 damage every 3 seconds.

If there are no allies within 4 meters of you, you take additional 100 damage.

To emerge victorious against the Frost Golem, your team’s placement will be key.

Bug Fixes and Improvements
  • Players will no longer be obligated to link their Steam account to an Epic account.
  • Steam VR should no longer launch when trying to play the game.
  • Advanced Tutorial enemy damage lowered to appropriate levels.
Providing Feedback:

If after slaying the Frost Golem you have time to provide some feedback, here are a few questions that we would be grateful if you could answer:
  • What did you think about the Coliseum environment?
  • How did you feel your role impacted the fight (Protector, Striker, or Healer)?
  • Were there some Enemy Abilities that were hard to understand or read?
  • How fast did you kill the Boss, and how did you feel about the length of the fights?
As usual, the Steam Forums are the place for you to submit feedback, but you are also welcome to share your thoughts with us on our Discord: https://discord.gg/2uNp4th

Thank you, and see you in the Multiverse!

CD-RUN - barnacle.balogh
Version 2.0.0 of CD-RUN is now available!

Here's what is new:

Support added for 11 more languages. CD-RUN can be played in: English, Portuguese (Brazil), Russian, French, Italian, German, Japanese, Spanish, Hungarian, Ukrainian, Chinese (Simplified) and Korean!

Added a new game mode: Collect. Little photons of light are floating around the CD player in this mode and your goal is to collect 100 of them before your opponents! The matches keep playing until 100 photons are collected.

New pattern type: Barrier. This vertical floating wall will definitely change how you approach slipping through the cracks to keep alive.

You'll see Collect Mode as an option on the Game Mode screen. View Achievements has been moved out of Options and is now on the Game Mode screen, next to View Leaderboards.

Level generator touch up. The big Bluff patterns occur less and other tweaks have been made to make the level more fair over time.

Added Analytics on Steam, non-personal.
  • Game match data - Game Type, Win Amount, Difficulty, Tie Match, Team Mode, Player Amount, Language, Match Time, Match Distance
  • Player cosmetic and statistical data - Eyes, Mouth, Color, Score, Result Place, Total Score, Distance Traveled, Play Time

Achievement fixes - Eight Bits Make One Byte and Four Bits Make One Nibble have been made easier to achieve.

Back 4 Blood - TRS_Alissa
Hello again, Cleaners!

This writeup is meant to provide an overview of how our PvP system allows players to always compete fairly, no matter what. Before we can get to that, we first have to talk about how we will not split the player base by releasing paid post-launch content.

Here’s how that works:

In PvE, if your party leader owns a paid content drop, you will be able to play that content with them -- including maps, gameplay and campaign.
No separation. No exclusion. No split.

Now, you might be thinking, “It’s cool you aren’t splitting the community, Turtle Rock, but if you’re selling content drops, how will PvP not be pay-to-win?”

In PvP, everyone who bought Back 4 Blood can get access to all additional PvP content, even without purchasing content drops. Players who don’t buy the content drops can earn new playable characters and Ridden in PvP, for free, through progression. Additionally, all PvP players have access to the same cards at the start of each match, regardless of whether those players have purchased content drops or not.

We hope this answers some of your questions about what we’re doing to make sure there is no pay-to-win or community separation. Right now we’re still fully focused on getting Back 4 Blood out the door, and we’ll provide more information on post-launch content later on.

We wanted to get the word out now because the most important thing to us about Back 4 Blood is our community. We make our games because of you and we want to make sure that you all feel good about the games we make.

We can’t wait to blow some shit up with you later this year!
