Players can now cut their engines while preserving their forward momentum.
Fixed jittering issues from the client side. Now both client and server are updated at the same time.
Mouse steering controls have been reworked to more accurately reflect gamepad steering controls.
Subtle steering is now easier and more accurate thanks to the new input curve.
Boosting forces a higher throttle value making it so players can no longer move slowly while also boosting.
Impact sparks are now proportional to the player's speed.
Players are now momentarily slowed when coming into contact with the environment.
Acceleration now takes a moment to kick in again after cutting engines. This results in a smoother trajectory when changing directions with cut engines.
Various tick event calls have been rearranged to be more efficient.
The input system handling switching between gamepad and mouse inputs has been improved to be smoother.
Cut engines on keyboard is space bar and on gamepad is left trigger.
User ability on keyboard is E and on gamepad is Y or Up on the D-Pad.

Encased: A Sci-Fi Post-Apocalyptic RPG - Iron_Orca
A couple of weeks ago, we released content patch 5 and soon after it — the first hotfix to it that eliminated a lot of annoying bugs, discovered by our players. Now it’s time for the second batch of fixes. Most of the team is working on polishing the final Encased build, final version of voice-over and translations so this hotfix released a little bit late.
In this short update we’ll tell you about the contents inside the second hotfix, news about the Encased release and remind you about the huge announcement from our Koch Media partners.
