I thought for a while that I should also make a Jukebox for Dark Asteroids. After all, Lukas was very successful with the music and it is very nice to be able to play individual songs from the game. At least I like it.
Clicking on the icon an individual song will play only one song endlessly. Or clicking on the "Play All" icon will infinitely play all the songs from the game in nice sequential order. I wish you a pleasant listening.
What's next? In my head is ripe with ideas for the next game from the Dark Asteroids world. The only thing I will reveal for now is that it will take place before the events of Dark Asteroids.

Ok, so I severely underestimated what it was going to take to completely overhaul the characters and all that, but I finally got stuff back on an even keel with added functionality.
I wanted to actually flesh out the inventory and world save features with the character saves, but ohh my god, it is so damned difficult.
So, I got the major milestone down. Characters can actually be customized and they're way nicer characters now too.
No, you can't do anything with the morph scalers yet, but that will be going in soon now that I spent the last 200 hours (literally 200 damned hours) messing with the workflow to get characters with proper morph targets and such into and out of the game to be able to modify things like (deep breath) even the most basic clothes. Yeah, clothing alone took me like 100 of those 200 hours.

We’ve rolled out a patch, in which we fixed and improved some things. Many critical bugs were fixed, such as respawn problems in the Canyon, bugs with commission shops in “Testing ground” (your items and money will not disappear, but they will be on one of the bases). Also, we’ve fixed low GPU usage on “Testing Grounds” that caused low FPS on a good PC. This “anomaly” has been removed ;-)
Also, we’ve changed the name of production modules: from now they are named V1-V4 instead of M1-M4. It’s like a version of a module. We did it because the previous naming of modules made players confused. Players thought that the V4 module (M4 old name) allow producing M4 weapons. In fact, it is not so. Each module, even V2 (M2 old name) can produce a weapon with up to 3 modification (M3 is maximum), but the difference is that modifications of V2 modules are lower than V3 or V4 modules, but even V2 module can produce M3 weapon, but its modifications will be “light”. Now we hope that it will be more clear for players.
As of this June 2021, Monogon: Echoes will be turning into a permanent Free-To-Play game here on the steam platform.
There is no catch, we won't be having any revenue generated actively from Monogon: Echoes this game will be strictly Free-To-Play, the reason we have taken this route is to help generate the needed community around this game so we can have our dream sandbox with an active community.
New updates are in the works, with AI and new weapons/vehicles being added to the default game, more information is coming up again soon.
