Hope you're all doing well! Today we're launching an update and the biggest change is the Chest collector which needs to be collected by clicking on it at W1-100km after that it will show up in your structures tab with 2 upgrades for storage and chance that you can level up. It works during offline progress and fills up while AFK.
-Building materials have been added to excavations. -New Level 27 Cargo blueprint added to the moon, but needs to be discovered. (It's 500M cargo) -Adjusted blueprint drops from gold chests to give you blueprints closer to your current equips with a decreasing chance to get higher blueprints. -Enriched Uranium Fuel rods have been decreased from 6 hours to 4 hours. -Highly Enriched Uranium Fuel rods have been buffed to 1 hour up from 30 minutes. They've also had their Uranium 2 and 3 drop rates increased significantly. -Mixed oxide and Pu/Po fuel rods have had their heat production significantly decreased. -Fixed name submission for premium purchasers. It should now prompt you to resubmit your name (on startup) if you didn't get prompted already. -Fixed a bug that was granting the 24 hour buff quest before unlocking the buff lab. -Fixed a bug where Sparkly Distraction and Pay Cut were ignoring caps. -Fixed a bug where trades could show up with negative values. -Fixed high level oil rig crashing the game. -Fixed cloud backups.
Global Leaderboards showing top 10, not just top 9. Keyboards can use 'Escape' key as the back button. More sounds are now concurrent. Tutorial Keys have coloured outlines to match Ele-Ments
On June 4th PDT, community streamers Lighty and Slipperyjim8 are organising an exciting charity private league! The goal of the league is for players to band together to complete a Unique Stash Tab, all while raising money for AbleGamers, a charity that helps people with disabilities play video games! Check out their announcement video below:
Anyone can donate via the link here, which can also be found on both Lighty and Jim's Twitch channels during the event.
The charity league will be a Private Ultimatum League lasting one week with no extra mods and 5000 player slots! If you would like to join, you can do so here.
Start time: Friday, 4th June 6:00AM (PDT). The event will last for one week. A countdown is available here.
There will be a league-wide community effort to 100% fill a Unique Stash Tab, with live tracking of missing uniques for the league's collection. Discoverers of the rarest uniques for ten different categories will be immortalized in a "Hall o' Fame" wallpaper created by Lighty's artist to commemorate the event. The categories give players of the league a goal to find specific Unique items within the private league's duration. Placement is determined by those who hand in their Uniques first to either Lighty, Jim or their respective moderators and multiple of the same uniques will be accepted.
The categories are as follows:
Unique Abyss Jewel
Curio Case Replacement Unique
Metamorph Unique
Blighted Unique
Infused Harbinger Unique
Unique Small Cluster Jewel
Upgraded Incursion Unique
Labyrinth Unique
Oni-Goroshi
Precursor's Emblem
Finally, there will be a raffle of 100 Apollyon Mystery Boxes supplied by GGG. All characters that reach level 40 or above are eligible to win a box and only one box can be won per account.
If you have any questions about the event or want more information, you can join Lighty's Discord channel here.
Where to Watch
The event will be livestreamed daily on both Lighty and Jim's Twitch channels:
It should fix the issues with the broken levels (the breasts/butt boutique level etc) and provide a better overall experience with much more balanced levels.
There are more features still to come for WolfQuest: Anniversary Edition! Tommi and Mikko are working on some deep code overhauls that should improve quality and performance of several core systems including AI and pathfinding. The rest of us have been working on smaller improvements and bugfixes, as well as Achievements. Then we’ll get back into Slough Creek multiplayer, which we know many players are eager for. And of course, the bighorn sheep are still waiting patiently to move into their cliff homes.
Once we finish these remaining features of the game and exit Early Access, we will dig into mobile and start on the next episode,Tower Fall (DLC), which will continue the story of your family pack through the fall and beyond. By October, pups look like small adults as they start the long, hard lessons of hunting and surviving. Your family pack will move south into the valley of the Yellowstone River. There, on the banks of the Yellowstone, with Tower Fall thundering nearby, the pack will stake out a new territory, protect the family from danger, and raise a new generation of skilled hunters.
In addition to Tower Fall, a new, expanded version of Lost River (DLC) will be even more mysterious and intriguing than Lost River Classic (which will still be included in the main game purchase).
We don’t give release dates or estimates — we release new content when it’s ready!
Hey guys, Krayfishkarl here with another Droplet: States of Matter update. Early Access 1.2 is now available! This patch contains a graphically updated version of Xenon Lagoon along with a few small quality of life fixes!
Previously, I've mentioned that one of the primary remaining tasks was to convert BSP brushes to static meshes. What does this mean exactly?
Whenever a level is created for the first time, I use BSP brushes, tools in Unreal Engine that can be used to create blockouts of a level. This allows me to construct a simplified representation of the level's intended design using basic shapes such as cubes, pyramids and cylinders. This allows me to playtest the level on the gameplay side before the final graphics are implemented. I can even assign collision and textures to the blockouts.
A static mesh on the other hand is a proper 3D model. When doing a conversion, I trace over these blockout areas using Blender and make adjustments to add more detail. I start off by creating one large model for the whole level. Then for other objects such as grass, trees, rocks and other decorations, I use separate models that I can place wherever I want.
Approximately half of the levels in the game are still pending this conversion. However, I anticipate that as I progress further, I'll amass more models that can be reused in other levels. Meaning, the speed at which I'm able to do conversions will get exponentially faster.
Beyond further quality of life improvements, completing this conversion will be my main goal before the game exits early access. But until then, even if a level has not been converted, it is still perfectly playable with all gameplay functionality present.
And with that, hope you enjoy!
