Greetings brave warriors!
We are proud to announce that Patch 0.55 is now live and includes the long-anticipated Co-Op PVE battles! This is a great milestone that brings us one step closer to the full release of the game and we couldn't have done this without you - our community.
The first boss we introduce is Vortigan, a mighty barbarian champion who utilizes the crowd to his favor. In the following months, we will add more bosses with future content patches. each with his own skills and fighting style.

New Features
Boss battles - Team up with another warrior to fight against mighty and deadly bosses. They are strong, have special skills, and it will take both of your efforts to bring them down. Each boss has 4 tiers of difficulties. the higher the tier - the greater the rewards. Bear in mind that death here is permeant, so enter at your own risk. The first boss is Vortigan - Barbarian Champion. Equipped with "Royal Flush" and "Man of the people" skills, gains more crowd bars than a regular warrior and can strike both enemies with "Rally the crowd" action in one turn. On tier 4, the time is ticking as Vortigan will unleash his digested lunch before you even sneeze, causing you and your ally to receive damage every turn for the entire battle.
Treasure Boxes - After defeating a boss, you will be granted a Treasure Box, which you open by aggressively breaking it to pieces. Then, you can have the rewards which are hidden within it.
Gameplay
New strength tree skills:
Dirty Dancing (level 1) - Your dance moves are so wicked, they have a chance to make your targeted opponent use his next turn to move towards you.
Level 1: 5% chance to confuse your enemy.
Level 2: 10% chance to confuse your enemy.
Level 3: 20% chance to confuse your enemy.
Strike of Doom (level 1) - Your fury is being concentrated into one strike. Increase Critical Strike hit damage.
Level 1: 1 base point(s) + 2% increased damage
Level 2: 1 base point(s) + 5% increased damage
Level 3: 2 base point(s) + 10% increased damage
Body Builder (level 4) - Your daily workout routine has paid off, you are able to turn Strength points into additional HP.
Level 1: +1 HP for each Strength Point.
Level 2: +2 HP for each Strength Point.
Skill trees changes:
all high-tier active skills now have an initial cooldown of 2.
One tough cookie will now reduce all incoming damage and is now level 3.
Uncrackable Nut duration is now 4.
Iron Dude duration is now 4.
Wounded Beast is now level 3
Removed Inner Might skill
Removed Charging Rhino skill
Removed Charge of Doom skill.
Fog of war is now high tier skill, with 3 base damage + 20% weapon damage
Retaliate is now a mid-tier skill
The Tranqulizer levels have been changed:
Level 1 - 1 + 2% of damage
Level 2 - 2 + 5% of damage
Level 3 - 3 + 10% of damage
Movement cost is now affected by "Increased stamina cost".

Killing a warrior by kicking him into a trap will now count as a kill.
Stamina discount buff will now affect movement cost as well.
When dying in the middle of a 2vs2 match, "Silvers Received" will no longer be shown in the spectate dialog.
Activating the "Rally the Crowd" action will now deplete your crowd bars meters.
Stun from the Extreme bear trap will now reduce the warrior's defense by 5 (just like normal stun).
Bugs & Techincal issues
Improved the performance in the main menu.
Fixed an issue where the character screen would appear in the main menu for no reason.
Fixed an issue where pressing "leave" when you die in a mid of a 2vs2 match would result in a black screen.
Fixed an issue where using fog of war and the warrior will step on Extreme bear trap would result in de-sync.
Fixed an issue where trying to activate an active skill would result in its cooldown being reset while the skill was not activated.
Fixed an issue where crowd buffs thrown in the arena could de-sync the game
Fixed an issue where a player starts the game with much lower weapon damage than he really should have.
Fixed an issue where collecting arrow buff would turn on the arrows counter even though the player does not have a ranged weapon equipped.
Fixed an issue where sometimes throwing a toilet at your party members will not work.
Fixed an issue where the mouse scroll wheel will not work in the options screen.
Graphics
The "Crowd Quality" option will now work and reduce the number of crowd characters.
Whenever a warrior offering a new amount of money while begging for his life - he will drop the current bag of gold and will pull up a new one.
Warriors' text bubble will now change direction according to their side in battle (only in duel mode)
When a warrior drops a gold bag, it will stop the shaking animation.
Warriors' banners will now show correctly in the Free-For-All tutorial.
Sounds
When a warrior dies, the "sad music" will now play on the post-battle screen.
Warriors will now talk gibberish when they are saying a chat message.
Fixed issues with double sounds in active skills.
Translations
The arena name will now show the correct translation in the Duel loading screen.
Fixed minor translation issues.

High-quality animations are the most important part when creating a game that uses the mechanics of the human body. These are not tanks where only the tower and the wheels turn, here every movement of a leg or arm is a whole story that has a reflection in the whole body. When creating the game SCREECH OF STEEL, we recorded animations of blows in a mockup studio, for this purpose a professional sword master was specially invited, participating in dozens of reconstructed battles. Waving a 13 kg sword for 6 hours is not easy, and even with one hand. The boxing bag was smashed into the trash after 20 minutes, so I had to improvise...

This week I started working on a new way to play PogoChamp: Survival Mode. This mode will take you through the levels of the main game, but instead of trying to complete levels as quickly as possible, you need to complete them without crashing. The leaderboard will show best completion times, or number of levels completed if you haven't completed it. There will also be a daily challenge mode, which is like a mini version of the survival mode, featuring a randomized set of 10 levels. There's still lots of work to do before these modes are ready to be released, but they have actually come together pretty quickly and without many major problems.
Where are the new levels!?
I ran a playtest of the new levels this week and I think they're in a pretty good state. I still need to tweak the star times to make sure they're sensible, and then I need to figure out where in the level order to place them. I was hoping to release them this week, but I got side-tracked with the new game mode work. The current plan is to release the new levels and the new game modes at the same time in one big update. I want to make sure it's all high quality when I release it, so please be patient :) .

Today's patch should hopefully finally get the last issue with the Missing Explorer. Turns out sometimes the treasure was in the correct place, but the map itself was wrong! Sorry about that! Please report any more issues you find with that one.

Rebalanced the Jellyfish's combat combos The Jellyfish's emphasis on Burning means that it had a way higher potential damage output than we intended, especially when using multiple of them. We reduced the impact of boosting on its burn effects, but gave "Massive Electroshock" a chance to stun instead. That way it should remain a strong attack option, but without the same potential for stacking to unintended heights.
Added new travel effects to the Corrupted biome
Made some Wandering Islander events that only give standing not happen when you are already at 10 standing
Fixed volcanos sometimes having traversable tiles within them
Fixed treasure maps sometimes showing the wrong tile for the treasure
Fixed the infobox for dice that come from character Perks not showing any details about where it came from in Event challenges
Fixed some sorting issues in some events
Fixed issue where the UI wouldn't appear when going back and forth between expedition and club selection screens
The third season of Ranked Matches Season dedicated to the large-scale "Heist" update has already kicked off. Take part in breathtaking combats and get plentiful rewards. We'd like to remind you that we have evenly distributed in-game currencies and boxes with cards for crafting gained in Ranked Matches to make it more beneficial for all parties involved. It will be easier for beginners to earn better rewards by fighting in lower leagues while experienced players will receive more prizes as they can reach higher leagues.

The rewards include multiple novelties introduced in the Heist update.
Weapons will be awarded for reaching 21st - 10th leagues. The higher the league - the better the gun!
It'll be easy to collect cards for crafting "The Big Score" weapons since they will be awarded for every league. If you are lucky enough, you'll be able to collect up to 2000 cards!
You will fight on the maps of "Plant the bomb" game mode and Blitz except for "Platform" and "Heist".
Prove your skills every season to gain recognition and additional bonuses. You will receive new items introduced in the Heist update, cards for crafting "The Big Score" weapons, unique camouflages, currencies and achievements.
Details
The unique stripe "True Cowboy" and the "Warface Ranking Matches League" badge will be given immediately upon reaching the 1st and the 21st leagues respectively and not after the end of the season as it used to be.
Boxes with cards for crafting "The Big Score" weapons will be awarded for each league - 21 times in total. Each box contains from 10 to 100 cards. It may also include various boosters.
"Heat" smoke grenades can be obtained upon getting to the 21st and the 15th leagues - 100 pcs. each time.
The "Mechanical" weapons will be given for reaching 20th - 16th and 14th - 10th leagues. Each gun is temporary (for 3 days).
Those players who reach the 3rd, the 2nd or the 1st leagues will get a random camo box containing the Ruby, the Aztec or the Diamonds camos.
Log-in Streak Rewards
Log into the game every day and get a temporary reward — cool weapons from the "Mechanical" series and boxes with cards fro crafting "The Big Score" arms. A gift every day.
Additional Information
Top contenders that finish the season in the first league will be able to proudly fly their "True Cowboy" stripe. Repeat success for 12 consecutive seasons to collect a complete collection of special achievements: you will get the unique mark "Best of the best!".
If you skip a season, you’ll have to wait until the 12-season cycle is complete to try and earn the first league achievement again! All achievements can be obtained only once.
There are achievements for other successes such as the league achieved at the end of the season, the status of "the best player in the winning team".
Seasonal box camos are random and do not repeat.
To obtain achievements according to the occupied places ("Special Metal Forces Squad", "Silver Veterans Squad", "Elite Carbon Squad" or "Gold Legendary Squad") and camos after the end of the season, you must log into the game during the next season. Otherwise, if you come back after several seasons of Ranked Matches, the reward will be lost.
