Macuilxochitl: from the concept art to the render version!

Macuilxochitl, the god of excess and overindulgence, patron of the artists, has a full body paint in red, a yellow band and a white design over his mouth, representing the number 5 (Five flowers, as the meaning of his name).

The headdress he's wearing was inspired by Codex Magliabechianus, and consists of a red headband embroidered with green stones and a golden xochitl (flower) glyph. The top is decorated with silex knives and quetzal feathers.
The chest ornament features the same green stone with a pending trophy jaw holding the obsidian mirror from Codex Borgia associated with Tezcatlipoca.

Hotfix Notes (Build 131)
- Change default graphics interface to DX11. (Some users have experienced stability issues or graphical errors with DX12)
- Add "Graphics Interface Preference" setting to allow changing between DX11 and DX12. (requires application restart)
- Fix bug causing SteamVR to launch when running desktop or OculusVR modes from Steam.
- Add ability to access settings from main menu.
- Recenter Desktop HUD part torque/fluid info and add dark translucent background to improve visibility on bright scenes.
- Fix installation bug with swaybar jam nut.
- Fix duplicate bolt on alternator/oil pump.

Interface improvments, gameplay rebalance, some bugs fix and more & more. More information soon.

Confectioner Engine, which powers Cave Confectioner, is now free and open source software. The engine is licensed GPLv2 instead of GPLv3 because of the additional restrictions GPLv3 imposes.

If you know what you're doing, you can pull the source tree with the following line:


The game contents in the "data" folder remain proprietary. You can simply copy the data into the Confectioner Engine folder. A way to get the data folder without Steam will be forthcoming, though I cannot release that for free.

Why am I doing this? If people want to mod the game, it's good to own the source code as well. Releasing the code should have no immediate impact on sales either way, but it makes everything more fun since those inclined can see how it works and improve it.

The Baker 221 - Saturday May 22nd, 2021 at 4pm ET

The next race on the Season 2 MSLA schedule takes us to the home of a fictional but famous Private Detective. May 22nd is known as Sherlock Holmes Day (it's also Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's birthday) and since Sherlock lived at 221B Baker Street, what better name for a race at the Boomerang than The Baker 221!

Things are different this season as the team size has been increased, an additional team member now contributes to the Team Championship and now ALL racers on the track will earn point/points. IN the end the winner of this race will win the first Season 2 MSLA 3D printed Trophy and the Top 3 will win the Exclusive MSLA marble skin!
