In this announcement, we are bringing the dish menu to you!

Our team has focused our energy on several issues that are of great concern to the engineers, and Dyson Sphere Program will achieve a major update in mid-to-late May.
This won't be a earth-shaking one, but it will certainly remove many obstacles for the engineers' work.

Upcoming update plan in May

1. Re-coded construction system to bring the new mass/chain construction.

In order to better support the new convenient functions in the future (such as blueprints), we have
(1) Rewritten nearly 10,000 lines of code of the construction system
(2) Split the code of various construction methods
(3) Reconsidered multiple construction previews (Build Preview) collision
(4) Optimized collision detection of large-scale construction.

2. Add the 3rd level civilization - Visual Leaderboard in a common Galaxy.
As one of our KickStarter Stretch goals, this function will be introed at its basic view in May. Players can use this function to check the power generation and other data of other players' Dyson Spheres. Is it all? How will this system look like? Let's wait and see.



The universe planned by the engineers is actually a part of the entire Milky Way galaxy - every small dot in it represents every star cluster that Icarus has ever landed on! Everyone will participate in the birth of the third level of civilization!

5. Multi-threading will be realized in the main logic to optimize the efficiency of CPU loading in late game.

We have conducted a comprehensive analysis of an savedata that produces 10800 Universe matrix per minute, and located the CPU consumption of each logical part. In the following development step, we will use multithreading to optimize these systems in sequence.



We tested the core code on various types of CPUs and Windows 7 systems to ensure the compatibility of this update.

5. Nightmare 3rd Boss Officially Open and Boss Damage Event started.
a. The 3rd boss is officially open in Nightmare.
b. Boss damage event starts until 25th May
c. As the boss of Nightmare is defeated, the level of the boss increases and the reward changes. However, if you defeat a boss with a level lower than your boss level, the boss level will not increase.
d. The maximum level of the boss in the full version is 60.
e. Nightmare requires a dedicated respawn token.
f. The attack of the 3rd boss has a lot of bullet attacks. Equipment with high defense is advantageous for attack.
g. Nightmare level up rewards and boss defeat rewards have been slightly increased.

6. Combat Season Event in May
Period: May 1-May 31 (April Combat Season Event will be completed on April 30)
a. Forest Warfare equipment can be acquired through the Combat Season Event in May.
b. You can earn rewards by earning experience points during the season.
c. Purchase and use the Combat Pro Pass within the season to earn rewards for the Pro Pass.
d. The effect of the Combat Pro Pass used is valid for the duration of the season, and the effect ends when the season changes.
e. You can easily acquire Season EXP by purchasing and using Combat Season EXP items.

Jump in a car together and drive around the map, find all the easter eggs and find all the secrets. Or just grab a chainsaw, earn money together and drink it all in the pub. After you stumbled home you can go and make the drivers day horrible. Organize a car meeting or play roleplay with players.

Last year, we put the spotlight on some of the biggest DEATH STRANDING players we know, giving them the opportunity to share their thoughts, knowledge, tips and advice to new and upcoming players.

ASK FOR HELP
It’s okay to ask for help. In the beginning this game will be unlike anything you have ever played. You WILL likely get stuck, you WILL likely get frustrated, and you WILL fall down a whole heck of a lot. That's how the game is *trying* to make you feel, frustrated, alone, under-equipped/overworked. You’ll soon understand why. TAKE YOUR TIME
Take your time. Just like in the real world, rushed actions and abrupt decisions are risky. When making deliveries, be careful and pay close attention to the lovingly detailed world around you. When resting in a private room, put on some music, and read the emails — these help you understand the game world and progress further. After all, DEATH STRANDING is a game that hopes to teach you a vital lesson, if you're just willing to slow down and listen. In a constantly stressed and overworked world, that message is especially valuable.

SPEAK TO PREPPERS
Throughout the game there are 'Preppers' holed up in various locations. Each Prepper has their own story that you can learn more about as you help them out and they will even reward you with valuable items and equipment. Make sure to fully explore the world and find all of the Preppers as some of the rewards impact your gameplay.

TAKE CARE WHEN CROSSING WATER
Not only is the timefall rain dangerous in DEATH STRANDING, but crossing water is also a regular threat for you and your delivery. But this is where your scanner comes into use. Scan the area before you enter the water. Squares in the colours blue, yellow and red will give you information about the water level. Blue water can be crossed easily, while the yellow markers indicate a deeper water level. Be careful about your balance and stamina when entering. Red indicates the deepest water level and you should avoid that entirely. It will instantly sweep you away.

KEEP YOUR FOCUS
DEATH STRANDING may look stunning, but don't let the melancholic beauty of Sam's world fool you – it's unforgiving. From dangerous terrain, cargo hungry MULEs, and disturbing BTs, you'll have numerous obstacles between you and your destination. To give yourself an easier and more enjoyable time, focus on the story for the first few chapters. As with many games, it's easy to get lost in side missions and exploration, but, tackling the story will unlock new items that will make Death Stranding's additional content much more enjoyable.
