My favourite thing about Apex Legends is the movement. Most characters have some sort of fun or interesting way they can zip around the world, and now Respawn have finally introduced the best way to do that: a jetpack. The developers revealed the new Legend Valkyrie last week: she's the daughter of Titan pilot Viper, and she uses parts of his old Northstar mech to jet herself around. I got a chance to try her out at a preview event, and she feels brilliant. However, she has a lot of abilities on top of that rocket-fuelled goodness, so I asked the devs to quell some concerns about power creep.

It hasn't taken long for players to discover some frustrating technical issues with NieR Replicant Ver.1.22474487139. Namely, the game doesn't work well with high refresh rate monitors and unlocked frame rates, not to mention a few other irritants too. Microsoft have rolled back part of a recent Windows 10 patch which has caused performance problems in games for some people, particularly people with multiple monitors. If your games have been wonky recently, try again now! Folks started reporting performance problems following patches on March 29th and April 13th, and now MS have cut off the problem part. I posted Take That's "Greatest Day" in the Discord before Verdansk's final hours. A thumbnail of Gary Barlow, arms spread, bellowing at the skies: "TODAY THIS COULD BE!". I did this because a live event was about to usher in Season 3 of Call Of Duty: Warzone.
