V17 has been released. Demos probably won't be updated just for this. Basically the only changes are new settings for resizing the text.
UI Changes:
New font size and tooltip font size settings.
New setting to make the buttons on the sidebar bigger (independent of font size)
Game cheats screen now resizes if the UI scale setting is changed.
Added a menu button to the main game screen that can be clicked to pull up the "pause" menu.
The health bar is now drawn in color, fading from green to red depending on how hurt you are.
The "close" button icon is now a "back" button since that's always how I thought about it anyway, which is why it's in the top left. Hopefully this change will stop its location being a thing people get weird about.
Note: There's no limit on how big/small you can resize the text, so it's possible to make things overflow if you make the text very large, or have huge UI scaling or a tiny window, or something. I've tested it out and it works fine for what I consider several reasonable sizes, but it's possible I overlooked something or forgot to update an obscure screen to work with different text sizes. Please report any wonkiness (aside from setting it to extreme values as mentioned above) as a bug.
Hey wizards! We have some exciting news... v2.1 will be released on 4/19! This patch will include loads of performance improvements, quality of life enhancements, bug fixes, and even little bit of new content.
Here are patch notes for v2.1.7b:
Gamepad world map focusing is much more accurate and will cause fewer issues

Javelin and arrow have had their collision radii reduced
Using gamepad shoulder buttons to change spell on the world map will work better
Destroyed sentinel crystals will properly cause sentinel towers to be ignored with clarivoyance
It's been 4 months since the closed demo and I will soon upload a new demo, for free and open! It's coming soon this month after some testing and bug fixing, but this demo will replace Harvest Island Beginnings demo. It'll expand from 15-30min to 1-2hours long. A lot has changed since the closed beta demo as it was designed to get feedback from players. I think you'll like the updates to this new demo a lot more.
There is a blog I have written to get a better idea of what the new demo has. Be prepared for a demo release this month!

DemonCrawl's Easter event has come to a close! We hope you managed to collect many baskets of eggs this season. If not, don't worry - these holiday rewards will be available again the same time next year.
In other news, we just released a beta update that introduces many new features for Arena, our online multiplayer gamemode. Beta testers can now choose between Autosweeper and Manual Division, create custom sign messages, apply paints & holographs to emotes, and check out new Arena-only stage mods.
While we're still a few weeks out from Arena's stable launch, we wanted to share the patch notes with you below - this should give you a good sense of our progress.
We also recorded a full gameplay match against AI opponents for your amusement:
Finally, we are releasing an early version of v1.74 to the stable branch as it contains an important GameMaker runtime update and a few bug fixes (notably, Hero Trial leaderboards may work correctly now.) A follow-up patch is planned for next week.
Enjoy!

We've rolled back to 'F12 for reset' because it caused a number of players to crash at the start. Another reason is because we couldn't enable Steam Overlay on the present game engine yet.
------------------------------ Version 0.5.0.3 ------------------------------ - Bugfix: Remove F1AltEnterF12.dll to avoid crash upon game start. - Change the reset button from ALT + R back to F12.
