  • Added combat procedural quests in 3 difficulty levels: normal, elite and boss. Boss level may grant orange loot as reward.
  • Increased rarity boost on Ravager loot.
  • Increased equipment sell value on lower levels and decreased in higher levels.
  • 'Target' action (default T) now only targets enemies. If no enemy target is near, it will also clear your current target, this way, if you press T it will make sure you either have an enemy selected or no one at all.
  • Added 'Target Any' action (default Y) that will target friendly or neutral ships.
  • 'Quest Log' is now bound to U by default. OBS: Old players may need to rebind these new keys in the control setup.
  • Destroying 'The Exiled' now properly removes the quest to defeat it, and it won't spawn anymore.
  • Added a floating message for when fleet members level up.
  • Fixed 'Marauder' perk not being reacquired once it's duration ends and the requirements are met again.
  • Player character XP gain reduced by 30% and ship crew/fleet reduced by 15%.
  • Removed global trading % bonus from 'Trader' background perk.
  • Changed most stats of 'White Collar' background perk, including the addition of 'bounty' ("attract more powerful enemies").
  • Changed some stats of 'Lone Wolf' background perk and included 'bounty'.
  • Fixed fleet ship becoming gold star when assigning Ziggy as commander.
  • Syndicate ships: Decreased 'Global Trading' bonus from 3% to 2%, 'Warp Distance' bonus from 50% to 33% and added 'Fleet Commander +2'.
  • You can no longer target neutral or friendly stations by left click or hovering mouse on it, only by pressing Y (default for 'Target Neutral/Friendly' command).

New patch to improve the early game experience and implement some feedback and good ideas we are receiving through player feedback (keep them coming!).

IMPORTANT note about Coop: from this patch coop games must be played with the same game versions. Remember to tell your friends to upgrade their games to this patch if you are trying to play in coop.

Balance:
- Reduced the experience needed to reach level 2, this will let your heroes be more prepared to fight against Ylmer.
- From now on when you discover new cards after a fight, they will unlock directly without having to take cards you don't want for the active run. (Unlocking items will work the same but in the next patch).
- All injuries in normal mode have "vanish", from now on they won't cycle during a fight, so it penalizes a little less to failing in some events. In an upcoming revision of the NG+ mode, injuries will have their own upgraded version withou vanish. -- Remember that you can remove injuries at the green cross icon of the maps or also picking the corruption reward that lets you remove cards from the deck, and at the church in towns--
- Small tweaks to some of the Act 1 monsters to make them less hard, special mention to the Cutthroats / Trunkys / Dryads (the Starfall in particular will have one less repeat in each of its versions).

With these three changes we hope to improve the experience of the starting player a bit, Acts 2 and 3 remain intact for now and remember that Act 4 is still to come.

Bug fixes & Tweaks:

We have changed the way the game volume control works, now it works by % as it should be, but it is very possible that when you start the game with the new patch you will have everything to 0.

- Tweaked the "Scryer Staff" item a bit as it caused an infinite loop with another item that killed all enemies in 1 cast, surprisingly the game didn't crash :D
- We think we've fixed the bug that leaves monsters at 0 health, doesn't kill them and doesn't let you continue.

- Fixed a bug with saved corruptions in MP.
- Stability in Multiplayer, with this patch should improve stability and desync bugs, still not 100% reliable but it's a significant improvement.

- You can now select screen resolutions higher than 2560x1440

As always remember that if something goes wrong, it's best to force close the game for now and you will have the savegame to continue.

This update will fix the AI not moving in some situations on the maps "City Bank" and "Double Bank" and adds more possible fixes for some achievements not unlocking for some players.

Another common request was to reduce the strength of the AI cop bot, it will now identify robbers slower and has greatly reduced HP if set to "Easy" in the settings, players looking for a bigger challenge can change the bot difficulty to "Hard", where the cop bot is a lot stronger.

Whether you are bred for fur or for meat, I guess it is better if you die alone than with fellow men who experience a similar fate. Fortunately, you can easily avoid such suffering. You just need to be born as the dominant species. Then, instead of in a cage, you meet your family at the Easter table and you happily eat a sausage blessed by a priest, and you don't give a shit about the fate of other creatures. It's called life, hallelujah.
