Hello again! We are deploying this patch to resolve some desyncs in coop games (more stability).

Remember that in a coop game everybody must have the same version (with this new patch you can check your version on the main screen, below the logo) or it will fail. We are working on a system to lock coop games if players doesnt have the same version but upload this patch is prioritary right now =)

”Efficiencies brought to both the power-coupling system and the transmission network for the Multirifle have resulted in decreased power draw on the exosuit power supplies during engagement. Swarm munitions are being upgraded for increased velocity as contractor manufacturing facilities are meeting the new specifications brought on by co-Triumvirate R&D developments. Acquisition and tracking software has also been updated, partially in response to recent feedback resulting from our Saturnian void-ops exercise range.“

Hello, my dear friends. I have important information for you today. I moved the release date of "From Bum to King" to a little later date - 29 July. It will give a few good opportunities to all of us.
  • I plan to create a demo version of "From Bum to King", and all of you can play and enjoy it.
  • I want to participate in "Steam Next Fest" in June. It's a big event, where you can try a demo and chat with the developer.
  • Intrigue system. This is plots to murder other characters and many other features. I planned to show it after early access, but I'm understanding now - it must be on the first game build.
As I'm working alone, all of this need more time. But the game will be more interesting and enthralling. I hope, you are to understand and support me.

It is with great excitement that we can confirm that Operation Two: For King and Country will be released at 10 AM PDT / 5 PM UTC on Wednesday April 14th! After taking an extra two weeks of polish, tweaking and testing we're ready to deliver our best update yet! With 3 maps, 2 factions, 12 weapons and a whole host of fixes and changes, this update is easily the most extensive amount of work done on the game since launch. We'll be sharing our first ever patch notes video when the update lands so keep an eye out for that as we'll be running through the major items of update V0.10. We look forward to hearing your thoughts and feedback on this newest version of the game!

Stay posted early this week Soldier as we share some final details on this upcoming patch.

Finishing the game design continues. Then we can decide by feature what we will: Keep, Free Update, DLC, and Cut.

The Great Rebalancing has begun!

The stats of all monsters encountered on away missions have been modified! Now I need you,
Brave Beta Tester, to go out there and kill or be killed ;) That's right, the changes are just in the beta branch right now, so if you're not ready to deal with that, it's fine (for now).


But be careful! The hit points of space suits have been increased, and the same goes for the damage of new weapons. Sounds great, but it also means that your existing equipment might not be up to the task of defeating these newly-empowered monsters.


I'll go into more detail on this later, but for now, just let me know how it's going... Too easy? Too hard? Just right?!


Here are some other fixes and changes available in the beta branch:

  • Updated another 120 images!
  • Solved a problem of away team image doubling.
  • Added a range-based darkening of tiles on away missions
  • Increased the shotgun's number of adjacent targets hit to 3.
  • Fixed a display error on the stats screen that showed the away team was being sped up instead of slowed down.
  • Discovered and corrected a survey loading error.
  • Increased the prices of all components by a small but constant amount.
  • Minefields and dark nebula can no longer spawn in sectors 1-4,
  • "Rare growths" no longer spawn before sector 10. (They still can't be picked up yet.)
  • Added a new starter quest about fully equipping the away team.
  • Planetary bio-signature can now be "off the charts", and be inhabited by any kind of monster.
