Another Brick in The Mall - The Quadsphere
Here is a post-release update with extended modding limits, a much needed independent handling of floor tiles build orders, improvements to ultrawide mode and a bunch of bug fixes.

Patch Notes

1.1.0
  • Changed: Products/objects mods are now limited by texture space. On the manage mods menu the texture space is estimated and might not be completely accurate. Mods that could not be loaded will show up as a warning sprite in-game.
  • Changed: You can now have up to 640 modded products instead of 128 (you will most likely be limited by texture space before reaching that number though).
  • Changed: You can now have up to 108 modded floor tiles instead of 20.
  • Changed: Orders to build floor tiles are now handled separately from foundations/objects orders so that build orders do not cancel each other.
  • Added: You can now display the names of characters if they were generated from Twitch chat or modified, or display all names, from the Twitch tab of the options menu. You can also press N in-game to cycle through modes.
  • Fixed: A possible corruption of fine dining restaurants.
  • Fixed: Minimum size storages not getting deliveries.
  • Fixed: Blocky UI in ultrawide modes.
  • Fixed: Flickering zone panels in ultrawide modes.
  • Fixed: Various scaling issues in ultrawide modes.
  • Fixed: A possible crash when using fullscreen on high refresh rate monitors.
  • Fixed: Customer status referencing random zones when going to non-retail businesses.

  • Fixed: Scaling issues with the new floor tiles rendering (glitchy gaps and seams).

The Discord-Link was changed to a permanent rather than a temporary one. This resulted in players getting kicked automatically from the Discord-Server after a while.

- Fixed a crash when hovering the Legendary Item: Swift Wings of Hermesal in Chinese
- Fixed a random crash when using Reaper of the Chrysalis/Reaper of the Sleepy Butterfly
- Fixed a random crash with Corrupted Pudding targetting you
- Fixed a crash when looting too much gold with Aurifurious or Goldscourge
- Fixed a crash with Grappling Hook's Boulder Rain

- Goldus at the end of Expeditions has been regrouped so it does not reduce your FPS to 3 (or less!)
- Skills should now cost the appropriate amount of Mana
- Selling Stacks of Items should now display the correct amount of Goldus
- Various indirect damages such as Poison & Thorns should now properly crit.
- You can now longer get stuck outside a room with Tumble after opening a Breach
- You can no longer get stuck outside a romm using Arcane Gates to teleport
- Huntress' Trap Knockback no longer pushes enemies outside the room after opening a Breach
- Chrono-Manipulation now returns the correct amount of Mana
- UI: The Mechanic of the Huntress is no longer offseted on various resolutions
- UI: Maximum Warp should now properly display the mechanic
- UI: Highlighting All-Resist no longer highlight Light Resistance
- "Idle" Buffs such as Steady Feet now properly disappear when using Click To Move
- Mana Leech now properly works

- You can now bind the F2 key!
- Improved Performance when using Aurifurious, Goldscourge & Slormbane
- Regular Windowed mode is back

Balance:
- Additional Projectile Percent Reduced by 60% on Gear
- Slormbane now deal Additional Damage based on Slorm found in the past 20 seconds.
- Reaper of the Manabender Raw Damage's Synergy is now based on 1% (per Reaper Level) of your Mana Regenaration instead of 10%
- The Effect of Upgrades on Equipment has been decreased by 25%
- Chrono-Puncture's Remnant Damage is now 5000% instead of 10.000%
- Deflect's Cooldown has been increased from 10 to 13 seconds
- Deflection now reduces the Cooldown of Deflect by 3% (at max Rank) instead of 5% per hit.

Effects and disease

We've been working on effects and status effects as it was told in previous weekly news. And we are nearly finished.

These effects will change some rules of survival. For example, jumping from the height will end with broken legs, which leads to much slower scavenging.
Rotten food will get you parasites, which will lead to more annoying hunger.
There are cures for all of the effects, so don't worry you will have ways to get rid of them.

New teammates

With great pleasure, we announce that we have new teammates. One of them will be helping our level designer and working with animations. And another will provide us with new meshes and textures. They are new to game development but they are no strangers to games, which is the most important. We are glad we have them and hope to have productive and just awesome relationships. Welcome to the team!
Fall of Civilization - lukedodds
Hi everyone!
1.04 has been now pushed to the beta (dev) branch.
I have been abit busier this week than I previously intended to be.
I am now a Gameplay Designer at Psycho Hound Limited! This wont however stop me from Fall of Civilization, I will still be aiming for weekly updates no matter how big or small. :)

But I still did some work on this over the week and wanted to keep consistent so pushing a build but will be doing more over the weekend as usual.

To get onto the new branch, right click game > Properties > Betas > add access code (betabuildtest) > Check Code > Select Beta

Changelist
  • Fixed the Raider characters material
  • Fixed the UI appearing over units heads
  • Stopped letting you open the UI when its not your turn (wait!)
  • Fixed the End Unit Turn button being disabled incorrectly
  • Fixed the Flee message appearing over the correct head
  • Added Input (Space Bar) for Ending Turn - This first ends your untis turn and if they're all done it ends your go. Should this be changed to an immediate end your faction turn?
  • Fix - Stops the End Turn function from being spammed
  • Added some visuals for Dead Factions/Bases
  • Some AI Tweaks
  • Some Move/Attack ability tweaks
Known bugs
  • Sometimes crash doing Quickplay (fix pending)
  • AI attacks may freeze progression

For 1.05 and the coming week I will still be looking into combat and the end game state so its polished and can be played from start to end.
