Thank you so much for your incredible support since our launch last Thursday! Today we're releasing the first patch for Floor Plan 2 (v1.0.2.3) with a few improvements and bugfixes for some of the most commonly reported issues. We apologize for these issues if you ran into them, and hope you enjoy finishing the game!
When playing with snap / smooth turn assist enabled, the play area can get off centered if you move around in the real world. We recommend only using snap / smooth turn for stationary play areas, and using the default settings (no turn assist) for roomscale play areas. In a future update, we're working on adding support for seated play to the game too.
Bugfixes and Improvements in v1.0.2.3:
Fixed some incorrect text that appeared when playing the game in Spanish, as well as a line that was incorrectly formatted in English.
When lost, items now recall to the edge of the play area instead of the center, making it easier to grab them without your waist pouch getting in the way.
Spoiler warning!
The following fixes may reveal parts of the game you haven't seen yet!
[East Elevator] Made it easier to take sunglasses off your face.
[East Elevator] Fixed the lasers in the bone case showing in the wrong position when the hatch door was fully slid open.
[East Elevator] Fixed edge cases where the crank could get stuck in the floor or floor grate of the dance club
[East Elevator] Fixed edge case where the pipe could get stuck under the bathroom sink.
[West Elevator] Fixed an issue where the power levels in the space station could get stuck at level 2 or higher.
[West Elevator] Improved light beams outside the space station so that the power levels don't flicker when moving beams around.
[West Elevator] Fixed an issue where the shoe could get stuck in the elevator when reloading from a save.
[CEO Office] Fixed an issue where Tammy could get stuck holding onto her hat if you put it back in her hand after she threw it away.
[CEO Office] Fixed an issue where items like the chalkboard could get stuck inside the CEO's desk or Bud's TV.
[CEO Office] The button on the game console now animates when pressed.
[West Elevator Overtime] Fixed an issue where the capsule with the red harry could get into a state where it could no longer be selected.
[West Elevator Overtime] Fixed an issue where the carrot would disappear if you held it up to your head, or could be invisible when loading from a save file.
[West Elevator Overtime] Fixed edge case where the carrot could get stuck in the planter.
If you encountered a problem that isn't listed in these notes, please reach out to us at hello@turbo-button.com and we'll do our best to address it quickly. Thanks for playing Floor Plan 2!!
Back to direct development stuff this week! This update's pretty small but the model just came in and I figured there's no real huge reason to hold off. I'm also going to start looking into button remapping and controller support very soon. I'm not sure yet how long it'll take or if there'll be patches in between, but just a heads up!
New Content:
Added the Gravity Machine object and a corresponding in-game goal to unlock it.
Adjustments:
The swatches to preview dog color changes via mutation now have a unique model rather than just being cubes.
The skeleton and inset walls have both had minor texture adjustments.
There was an issue with some people experiencing a black screen when launching the game. The issue seemed to be with finding the System Save File when the file path contained characters from some languages like Russian among others.

This is the second beta for Enter The Backrooms Release Version II! Here are the biggest changes:
- Added in Level 10, an infinite field covered in a thick fog. - Level 10 consists of dirt paths, fields sectioned off by fences, and barns that harbor boxes. - Level 10 can be accessed through telephone poles on Level 9. - New Level 10 event, informally named "IT'S HAPPENING". You'll just have to see it. - Added in Clumps. - Clumps are swarms of arms that will steal items and deal damage. - Bigger clumps will steal more items and deal more damage. - Added in Partygoers. - Rarely, a balloon will appear when you open a box. This means a partygoer has arrived. - If you aren't looking in the direction of the partygoer, it will chase you down. Otherwise, it will remain stationary, and eventually, go away. - The game now treats Level IDs as strings, not integers. This is a backend fix that took some time but will make the creation of later levels much easier. - Fixed some rendering issues, specifically with hedges on Level 9.
These betas are unstable and will probably ruin your save files, so play and test at your own risk. Hope you have a great day, and I'll see you in the Level 11 Beta!
