Wait, no, this isn't it - no one change their clocks this weekened. USA, come on, you should already be on top of this. And UK, our turn is next weekend. Hold tight. Time isn't real, the past year has taught me, yet I'm pretty sure some sort of ad hoc time deity can form from collective belief and god help you if you anger it. So weekends? Ha ha, yes certainly I believe in weekends, a very real period of time right there. Please, please, I beg you please, join me in recognising the weekend by telling me what you're playing this one.

Verdansk is James and I's second home, a less-than-safe space to relax after work and pull some triggers. It's a place we deeply care about, and now it's filled with undead. Initially, we'd welcomed them in with open arms, but now they're starting to bore us. And we share our desperation to see something, anything> come of their presence in this episode of the Audio Bang.

Fallout games may be grim, but even the wasteland doesn't usually let you harm children. Thank goodness for mods, right? One particular Fallout 3 mod lets players with the cannibal perk gobble down an infant in the The Pitt DLC, which one of my favorite speedrunners has endeavored to do in under 20 minutes. Why on earth would he want to speed eat a baby? It's more wholesome than you think, actually.

Payday series developers Starbreeze have not had a breezy few years. In 2019, they faced the serious threat of shutting down due to their financial situtation. Things eventually started looking up after their restructuring process and they reiterated plans for Payday 3 following the completion a publishing agreement.

They've now indeed signed on with co-publishers Koch Media. They've also doubled down on those plans to launch their next grand co-op heist 'em up in 2023. That's not as far away as it was the first time they said it, but it sure still isn't soon.

Phasmophobia is scary enough as it is. I've been playing for months and I still sometimes squeal like a small child when a ghost chases me. I won't ever muster the courage to play in VR and I will never, ever have a desire to play wearing a haptic suit. I'd really like to watch someone else do it though. For you absolute horror fiends, Phasmophobia has just added support for Bhaptics Tactsuits for some extra jumpscare fuel.

On finishing work for the day, I normally power down my PC and retreat to our living room downstairs, either settling in for some TV with our cats, or reading a bit of my current book with our cats. Our cat Midna (named for the similar-ish markings she shares with The Legend Of Zelda character) is particularly friendly when we're in the living room, wedging herself between my shins if I've got a blanket over them, or scooching into the tiny gap between me and the arm of the sofa. It's nice. Cosy. Chill. Peaceful.

I'm telling you this because nearly every night this week I have foregone a big chunk of our usual evening cat cuddling routine in order to carry on playing Dorfromantik, a very relaxing hexagonal city-builder from tiny German team Toukana Interactive. And yes, I don't know what's got into me, either.
