Stellaris: Nemesis was announced in early February with a fancy CG trailer, and now there's a second fancy CG trailer and a release date. Nemesis, which adds various new ways to be a miserable space bastard to Paradox's scifi grand strategy game, will launch on April 15th.
Crusader Kings 3 developers Paradox Interactive have been teasing a big free 1.3 update over the past month, one that would expand duels, bring snow, and throw down with randomly generated poetry.
Now we know that these additions are coming this week alongside the Northern Lords flavour pack, which adds Norse-themed content including new events and viking hair styles.
Surviving Mars is currently free on the Epic store. Now might be a good time to climb aboard a rocket to Mars, too: during this evening's Paradox Insider stream, the strategy publisher announced that development had resumed on new content for the game with a new development studio at the helm.
That new work begins to release this Monday with a free Tourism update and In-Dome Buildings DLC.
Dota: Dragon's Blood - the Netflix-produced Dota 2 anime announced last month - is due for release later this month. In preparation, Netflix have produced a video trying to explain Dota's lore to folks unfamiliar with it. Folks like me!
Paradox Insider takes place tonight and will broadcast live on Twitch at 11am PT/7pm GMT/8pm CET. This is where Paradox Interactive reveal new information about games and updates they're planning on releasing in 2021. Will there be new information on Bloodlines 2? I doubt it, but you can watch the stream below to find out.
We're about to enter a confusing fortnight. Americans: change your clocks this weekend. UKanians: wait no don't change your clocks yet. For two weeks, our time difference will be shorter. Or longer. It... will have sprung forward? So shorter. Longer. Shorter. Good luck to everyone else whose work involves communicating across international timezones. Best show up to every meeting an hour early, just in case.
Immortals Fenyx Rising has already released one of its three planned DLCs which challenged your hero Fenyx to a new series of puzzle-y trials. With the second DLC out this month, it's time for Fenyx to hang up the wings. A new hero named Ku is taking over in the "Myths Of The Eastern Realm" DLC. It'll be out later this month, but you can take on related teaser quest that Ubisoft have added to the base game as a free update in the meantime.
HGTV 'em up House Flipper has announced a new DLC in the works and it is not what I'd have expected. The renovation simulation is now working on a DLC that will add pets. We're not just talking cats and dogs either. No, you'll have parrots and bunnies and turtles too. Because how are you supposed to appreciate your freshly-flipped house if you don't have anyone to share it with? The DLC will add new houses too, but I'm honestly just worried about the dogs.
Last week, SCS Software announced that Euro Truck Simulator is headed east in the upcoming Heart Of Russia DLC. Over on this side of the Atlantic, American Truck Simulator is headed someplace big too. SCS have properly revealed their planned Texas expansion along with some photos of their current progress. The lone star state is a huge place, so you're in store for everything from beaches to deserts to landmarks across the state.
Crash Bandicoot 4 is launching on PC this month and it's about ti—wait, no, this is actually sooner than I'd expected. That's a nice surprise. Crash Bandicoot 4: It's About Time is the latest platform 'em up in which Crash and Coco collect some interdimentional magic masks to save the multiverse from Neo Cortex and Dr. N. Tropy.
