- Added a grid alignment tool which allows you to match the size of a printed grid or scale on your map. - Switched from having all maps auto-loaded to only loading the selected map, saving memory and allowing bigger maps - Split up the map data, image and preview into separate files so they don't have to stay in memory. - Increased map image area from 4 million pixels to 12 million. - Increased heartbeat timeout on the public server, so even slow internet can take advantage of the new big maps.
Hotfix: - Added a message when an access denied error prevents directory or map file creation, asking for help in tracking this issue down as it's a permissions issue I need more info about. - Fixed an issue where players weren't able to return to previously visited maps.
Created a low spec branch for that purpose, as Beta will soon have the changes attempting to address some of the settings/video issues that have popped up. If you need the low spec build, please use the low spec branch.

Resolved visual issues impacting overlap on certain aspect ratios.
Fixed an issue where Vagabond items refresh when Undo is used on a move into the Forest.
Fixed an issue where Root may freeze when a Vagabond player is prompted to damage items from another player’s battle.
Improved performance for Pass and Play mode:
Resolved an issue with post-battle freezing.
Resolved an issue where the match locks if Vagabond exhausts a track item to aid and acquire another copy of the same item.
Damaging an item is no longer skippable when playing as Vagabond.
Resolved an issue where a user may freeze after crafting a Favor card if Vagabond is hit by the effect.
Destroying a unit with Tax Collector now updates the clearing correctly.

Hi, a public beta of Toribash 5.5.1 is now available on Steam for all platforms. To try it out, go to Toribash properties from your Steam Library, open Betas tab and switch to "beta" branch.
Toribash 5.5.1 contains a number of improvements for replay viewing, bug fixes and some other QoL changes.
What's new:
Advanced replay GUI (default hotkey is Tab)
Progress bar with camera keyframe marks
Replay speed slider
Advanced replay gui would only work when replay has been cached
Replay cache updates
When replay speed option is set to "Enabled" in settings, replays will always load with cache by default
Cached replay loading should be a little bit quicker due to backend optimizations
You can now view next/previous replay using CTRL + ] / CTRL + [ hotkeys while in any folder
Replay playback speed now affects flame particles speed
Auto focus on replay name input when saving replay
Breakable grabs should no longer cause glitches while in Multiplayer
Customizable ghosts should no longer get stuck in previous mode when loading a new mod in Multiplayer

This is a huge milestone: being able to confirm our final release date means that the game has reached a point where we are confident that we can deliver on our core ideas. We are now fully immersed in polishing and playtesting the game with the help of our friends and family.
