To get to the top you’ll need to do more than just rob random houses.
You will do specific jobs that will give you not only money but also reputation in the criminal underworld.



Most of the jobs will involve stealing (that’s what the game is about, after all) but it’s not that easy. You need to learn a lot about the target: when is the best time to get in, what tools are needed and is there a dog guarding the place, or maybe a camera?



Other times you will steal cars. It’s more tricky because most of them will be parked in locked garages or behind a gate. The client will ask for a specific car and sometimes it’s the one harder to get.



Sometimes you will need to disguise yourself to infiltrate a bank, museum or even a mansion. Stealing data or jewelry is possible even without a backpack.



Those are just a few of many jobs (or quests if you prefer the classic naming) you will do in the game. If you have an idea for some cool stuff to do, let us know!

Temporal agents from the future are kidnapping babies throughout time and space to ensure they never become the pivotal figures of history that they were born to be. Given that these are babies, special care must be taken in their rescue and finding a way to stop these temporal agents without causing any harm. But you’ll have to navigate between the demands of several factions demanding that their bouncing bundles of joy be given first priority!

Howdy! Coming at you today with a new build of Shield Cat as I work toward the March 12th demo! Here are the changes this one brings:

• Lance's thrown abilities now affect more objects, like the gear that extends the bridge.
  
• You can now investigate things in Lance's house.
  
• A new Grayscale mode has been added to the post processing effects.
  
• A new Retro Palette option has been added! Now you can play the game in limited color glory. Several color schemes are available so be sure to give it a look!

• The game now closes a lot faster when you close the window.
  
• The CRT Filter has finally been fixed. Check it out!!
  
• Post Processing effects now stack as you would expect. For example, you can use the Bit Crush to reduce the color depth of the display, and then blur it using the CRT Blur effect.

• Moved Discord and Twitter links to the title screen menu.
  
• Menu controls now only show on the title screen, as by the time you get into the game you be aware of what buttons do what.

• Adjusted the hitbox and related collision code on the Shield to fix issues when using the "Wave" upgrade.
  
• Prevent Lance's dropped petals from counting again and artificially boosting the total Petal count.
  
• Fixed an issue where inputs would become stuck if the window was inactive, causing the game to act as if it's still receiving the input.
  
• Fixed a memory leak issue where the game would not properly clean up dynamic resources when leaving a stage, causing them to build up and eventually crash the game.
  
• The camera in Marcus' Adventure works correctly again.
  
• Fixed pausing issue in Marcus' Adventure where sprites were still being drawn.
  
• Fixed an issue where the water in the Lake Challenge minigame wouldn't be drawn in certain scenarios.

The Franciscan Order is one of the most widely known religious orders in the Catholic Church, founded in 1209 by Saint Francis of Assisi.

Solidarity with the poor is an essential element of Franciscan Spirituality: the friars take the vow of poverty to work with the marginalized and help them improve their conditions.

The Franciscan Order was also the first of the orders to arrive in New Spain, taking control of the most important social and political centers in the Valley of Mexico, with the purpose of evangelizing the conquered territories.



One of the most famous members of the Order was Fray Bernandino de Sahagún, who participated in the Catholic evangelization of colonial New Spain, spending his life in the central region of the Valley of Mexico, specifically in the convents of San Francisco Santiago Tlatelolco, Tepepulco, Xochimilco and Tlamanalco, among others.

Fray Bernandino de Sahagún is also known as the compiler of the Historia general de las cosas de la Nueva España (The General History of the Things of New Spain): a codex consisting of 2,400 pages organized into twelve books, with approximately 2,500 illustrations drawn by native artists using both native and European techniques. Written both in Spanish and Nahuatl, the document is a testimony of the encounters with the new world and its people, and it stands out due to Sahagún's effort to gather information about a foreign culture by querying people from within that culture, interviewing native men who survived the Spanish conquest, to show their perspectives.

Due to the important cultural, social and religious impact which the Franciscan Order had in the history of Mexico, we had to include the friars of this Order in the world of Mictlan, representing them with their traditional plain brown tunic with a hood, a cord fastened around the waist, and sandals.
