Hello all! You might have noticed that Blackwell Unbound has been updated (along with all the other Blackwell games) . We have re-compiled the entire game in the newest version of the Adventure Game Studio engine. This means that the game NOW WORKS ON ALL YOUR FANCY NEW MODERN MONITORS. As the game got older, many glitches started appearing. Those should - theoretically - be gone now. We know this update was a long time in coming. Thank you for your patience.
This does have the negative effect of breaking all your original save files. If you would like to revert back to the original version of the game, you need to to the following:
1- Right-click on the game in your Steam library 2- Select "Properties" and go to the "Beta" tab 3- Enter the password "oldblackwellunbound" 4- select the beta version "original" from the drop down list.
The game should revert itself back to the old version. If it doesn't, uninstall and reinstall.

Crowalt: Traces of the Lost Colony - Madcraft Studios
Dear followers,
We want to announce a huge step that we took for Crowalt. Crowalt is going to be published by GrabTheGames!
We have a small community that consists of our Steam followers and social media followers (in Twitter, Discord & Instagram). We have been trying to spread the word as much as we can (as others call it marketing), but it has its own difficulties when you keep developing the game itself on another side. So, for the last couple of months, we have been looking for a publishing partner that could help us making Crowalt reach its potential. We have talked to a bunch of publishers, but the moment when we started talking with GrabTheGames, we knew that working with them will be very exciting if things work out. We are very glad that it happened.
So, what difference will this partnership make?
GrabTheGames is a very experienced publisher but not just a publisher, but a community at the same time. They'll help us with marketing, PR, testing, also with localization so that Crowalt will be playable in many different languages. Porting is also a possibility regarding this partnership.
Besides these, most important thing is that we'll be able to give all of our focus to the creative side and make our best to bring a really tasty and enjoyable product to your tables. We are very excited about the final version of Crowalt. We believe that you'll like it a lot. Now, we are stronger than ever!
Don't forget to follow us on socialmedia and join our Discord for a further chat. <3
You've just finished your training and tell the Magic Instructor you're ready to be teleported to mainland Gielinor. You arrive and find yourself in the courtyard of Lumbridge Castle, surrounded by other players, townsfolk and strange creatures. It's time to begin your adventure.
But where do you go from here? The world of Old School RuneScape is a huge, sprawling land, full of adventure and intrigue. Although it can seem daunting, we're here to help you with some helpful tips and trick to get you started.
The great thing about Gielinor is that you can be anything you want, from a wandering adventurer, a master craftsman, a curious wizard and much more...
Here are just a couple of ways you can start your journey:
The Road Ahead
If you've told the Gielinor Guide at the very beginning of Tutorial Island that you are either 'a new player' or 'a player that has played in the past', you can enjoy an encounter with Adventurer Jon. By heading just north of Lumbridge Castle, you'll find this seasoned adventurer standing outside The Sheared Ram pub.
He'll tell you about the Adventure Paths task system, which helps new players find their feet by completing a set of tasks for some nice rewards.
Jon offers two main tasks:
Combat Path - This helps to level all of your main Combat skills including Attack, Strength, Defence, Ranged and Magic, and will reward you with items to improve the way you fight!
Gathering Path - This makes the skills that you previously got to work on back at Tutorial Island even stronger.
To find out more about the tasks within each path, or any of the rewards you can get, make sure to visit the official Old School wiki.
Making a Name for Yourself
What better way to rise to fame as Gielinor's greatest hero than by helping those who need it most? You'll find a variety of quests to complete in your quest panel - here are some which will be nearby to help get you going:
Cook's Assistant - The very first quest! Head to the Lumbridge Castle kitchen and speak to the Cook. He needs help baking a cake for the Duke's Birthday, for which you'll receive a nice boost to your Cooking skill.
Sheep Shearer - Level up your Crafting by heading to Fred's Farm north of Lumbridge to help trim the farmer's sheep.
X Marks the Spot - Get an introduction to Clue Scrolls by visiting Veos in The Sheared Ram pub and partake in one of his favourite hobbies, Treasure Hunts!
The Restless Ghost - There's a ghost haunting the graveyard, and Father Aereck in the Lumbridge Church needs your! Get rid of the pesky spirit and boost your Prayer skill in the process!
Rune Mysteries - Dabble in the curious art of Runecrafting by visiting Duke Horacio on the 1st floor of Lumbridge Castle!
For a list of guides, rewards and more visit the OSRS Wiki page on free-to-play quests.
Level Up!
Skilling is an important part of Old School RuneScape. Improving your skills not only grants access to more of the world, but also opens to door to lots of ways to make money! And the best thing is that many of the best ways to earn XP can be found everywhere around you! Here are just a couple of examples of how you can easily start raising those stats and raking in the cash:
Cut trees in Lumbridge
Fish and cook shrimps in Lumbridge Swamp
Killing cows in Lumbridge (and tanning their hides)
Mine and smith ores
Defeat some goblins!

The launch of Celestial Hearts exceeded my expectations, having even outperformed the launches of my previous two best sellers Knight Bewitched 1 and 2. So far I've only needed to release two minor bugfix patches!
I mentioned this in my previous patch update, but if you're reading this and you've finished (or are close to finishing) Celestial Hearts, I'd greatly appreciate it if you could leave a review. Reviews, especially from those who bought the game directly from Steam, are crucial to the continued sales of any indie game including Celestial Hearts. As of this update, I need 6 more reviews to get an official Steam rating.
Celestial Hearts for Android
The good news is that I'm working on porting Celestial Hearts to the Google Play Store. The bad news is that the engine Celestial Hearts wasn't designed with mobile performance in mind. I'm working on finding ways to improve the UI and performance, but most likely the Android port will only be available for download on high-end modern devices.
(yeah...still trying to figure this out)
My next project
I've mentioned this previously as well, but I'm currently working on an Enhanced Edition of my bestseller Knight Bewitched. I'll be making an "official" announcement in a week or two to document all the changes as well as the Kickstarter campaign I'll be launching to fund the art illustrations and original soundtrack.
Z-RACE is packed with plenty of early access content to keep you hooked for hours! You can race on three different tracks for each of our four terrains, giving you 12 unique races in total. Each race you unlock on a given terrain will be more difficult than the last, so stay focused!
In Z-RACE, your opponents are real and asynchronous. You’ll be matched with other racers based on your success in previous races. That way, you’ll always feel like you’re competing against fair opponents. New to the game? Expect the easiest opponents!
