Hi everybody 😊

February is coming to an end and we are on the final sprint towards the Early Access release of Dorfromantik on March 25th. We wanted to thank you very much for the support and constructive feedback from your side, we have already evaluated a lot of it and drawn concrete conclusions from it.

Demo
The demo, which includes only a limited slice of the full game, was originally intended to be available only during the week of the Steam Game Festival. Due to popular demand and so many of you playing and enjoying it, we have kept it online for the entire month of February.
Thank you so much for playing it and giving us your thoughts on many different aspects of the game. Now as we have gathered a lot of feedback from you (and there were many things to think about!) we will take the demo down.
We are already working hard on making the full game better and as we are a very small team, this will now allow us to focus all our resources on making the Early Access version the best we can without having to additionally support a demo based on an older version of the game.

We have added many new features and content to the full version of the game and are very excited to show you some of it during the next weeks and finally on the release day.

We know that some of you can hardly wait, so we are especially grateful for your patience and support.

We've put up this little FAQ to address your questions and will update it from time to time with new questions and answers. If you have additional questions, please post them under the FAQ discussion thread. We can't promise to answer every single question, but we will do our best to read your comments and will try to respond as best as we can.

Collapse: A Political Simulator - Kremlingames
After reading all of your ideas and suggestions, we were so filled with philosophical knowledge of our existence that, unknowingly, we shifted the layers of the fabric of our planar's time:
- Presidential election reports are prettier (separate tab in the Statistics window)
- Small businesses and cooperatives no longer seek to gobble up the entire economy by 1993, but will wait patiently, like docile dogs.
- Electricity has been fixed (hopefully), the lights are no longer out.
- Thanks to Ouija boards, your spiritual boundaries have been expanded: extra buttons (three) for the Foreign Ministry and (five) for the Prime Minister.
- Now you don't have to constantly have time to replenish your Stea... purse. i.e. the ministerial budget, there is a button for auto-replenishment
- Minus the bugs (right?).
- The magic of the Spacebar button is back - now, when you press it, you not only pause it, but also un-pause it (if you set it yourself)
- Now you don't need a Ouija board to figure out which ministry/which faction is whose, just look at the color of their name
- Creating and promoting laws is not as easy as it sounds: now with less than four laws nominated, the price of nomination will be much more expensive
- Too rapid growth of the economy leads to a huge gap between all areas of society, so the modifier "Diseases of Economic Growth" has been introduced
- Some laws are revised, so that government agencies will finally begin to adequately fight corruption and crime in the regions, rather than eating donuts at the nearest beer hall
- How often did factions fade away by 2004? Now the people won't always let them end up like that: the power of factions grows if things are bad in the country
- The disgruntled bourgeoisie will no longer just finance the occasional couple of protests against the ruling Party, they will now use their main weapon: private and mixed (to a lesser extent) corporations will hide some of their revenues from the state so as not to pay taxes
- Balance, like Evil Santa, has come to the Regions and balanced the bottom three (last) buttons
- Now you no longer have to manually count the number of deputies - there is a chart in the corresponding window
- Other parties now don't just leave organizations at the whim of their left heel, but consider the dependency and, if there is too much, try to lower it
- Tired of the old headlines and newspaper clippings? Now there are more of them!
- Integration economic treaties now reflect more favorably on your market!

Now let's jump into the details:

Patch 0,5.27..M - Codename: Luminous - Hotfix!

Bug Fixes :bug:
  • Crashes connected to Ashlander and Sand Wyrm variation character resolved
  • Companion Combat Formations crash if the saved companion is no longer with the comitatus resolved
  • Formation exploit allowing the deployment of companions not picked during hero select removed
  • Formation exploit allowing more companions to be deployed than the max limit removed
  • Gear and Status effects now added even if the companion does not have the given perk [They still do not count toward Combat Trait requirements]
  • Companions showing as Wounded even on max health fixed (you need to camp one night for the code to recognize the actual health status)
  • Event scripts related to the Oquo questline in Larnak corrected
  • Larnak Hive quest line fixed
  • The rare bug where Nedir could not be fitted out with any Gear resolved
  • Nedir's Famulus is now always (re)summoned on full health
  • Larnak is now by default visible on the chart just like the other major cities

Known Issues
  • Formations are still not perfect. We will improve the logic and its tooltip in a future build.
  • We will explore options to reduce the initial loading time.
  • The visual presentation of Companion Combat skills with two phases is not final yet.

  • When using the Caps Lock Overload feature, it is now possible to turn caps lock on (the original function of caps lock) by double pressing the caps lock button. This behavior can be turned off with the Caps Lock Overload Double Press option.
  • Added an option to enable system audio volume synchronization with Simplode Suite. This feature was previously on by default, but it has been reported to cause problems on some devices, so it is now available as an option and is disabled by default.

Cannibal Crossing - Rocketcat Games
This testing branch update contains Hard Mode, unlockable Secondary Classes with new SUPER abilities, new endings, and more! Help us test it out, so we can post this on the main branch as an update!

How to Access Testing Branch
- Right click on Cannibal Crossing in your Steam Library
- Select "Properties"
- Go to the "Betas" Tab
- Select "testbranch" from the "beta you would like to opt into:" menu

Major Changes

- Black mucus on the ground now corrupts you, limiting your max health up to 50%. This can be healed with alcohol, high quality medical items, or with Dark Tonic

- Large amount of difficulty balance adjustments for singleplayer, generally making things more difficult in the late game to keep pace with all the powerful weapons you get now
- Secondary Classes all have all new SUPER abilities, different from the starter classes for each character!
- Hard Mode is now in the game. Enemies have 15% more health, bosses have 30% more health, more enemies show up sooner, and harder enemy types show up 5 days sooner in general spawns and 4 days sooner in waves. Bosses also get new attack patterns. HAVE FUN!
- New difficulty selector on character screen
- Good endings for saving at least 6 survivors (4 in Radio Silence), Bad endings if you don't

- Shields are now in the game again! They will deflect bullet weapons, even if you're not holding down block

- More harsh quantity limits for different ammo types if you get more than your ammo storage can hold
- Breaking/smelting things from inventory now requires R to be held down a bit, with an indicator

- You can now use numbers 5-9 to quickly select your throwing item and quick items
- You can now rebind Z and CAPS LOCK
- 144 FPS option

General Balance

- Loot Note enemies will teleport closer to the player and retarget the player if they get too far away
- Fixes for Tier 1 versus Tier 2 weapons in containers not matching their intended values. This will make Tier 2 weapons more rare overall

- Cannibal Splitter AI tweaks
- Cannibal Splitter heads should start jumping around while calling for a wave

- Rosie's Turret should now shoot at bosses
- Quill's first Trait should now work, now that there's corruption again
- If you're playing Lola, you and other players can no longer get the negative effects from being drunk
- Ash's secondary class now starts with a fire axe instead of battle axe, mostly due to the Flamethrower buffs
- Enemies burn longer, and once again take ticks of damage while doing so

- Some more AI revamps for enemies, they should attack doors easier now
- The lightning negative eyes (Negative Insights) will now target your turrets
- A few hours now pass with deaths in Sandbox mode, with a message saying so


Fixes and Minor Tweaks

- Piggy Banker midbosses can't shoot each other now
- Weapons placed in the quick throw slot (Ronin, Black Jack, and Lola secondary classes) will now work properly for swapping in/out of them and them using ammo
- Midbosses spawn explosion area smaller, and they shouldn't easily break structures for running into them within the first 10 seconds of spawning
- Better stun logic for Bosses
- Stan's Shop: Skill point buys are now twice more expensive
- Halved amount of Purple Crystals you get for map exploration, items crafted, and fortifications
- Doubled amount of Purple Crystals for mission completion
- Excess quantities of things added to your inventory are now deleted from the source container, then dropped to the floor
- Taco and Flack Jack bonuses should now work on Boss enemy summons
- Boom Box will now explode by contact/proximity

- Updated order of list of characters
- Saving/loading should now properly track your HP and SUPER meter
- Memory leak fix for Horde Mode that was causing some problems
- Some fixes for putting weird stuff in the base factory buildings
- Further loot tweaks
- Door Mines are more rare, but the damage is increased by 50%
- Turret bullets should no longer collide with other turrets or the player
- Laser Rifle should now work properly in Ronin's Mech quick slot
- Removed compass points for a weird stash case
- Life, food max levels, and corruption levels should now load properly on a continued game

- More locked items should now have a proper UNLOCK prompt
- Fix for end scene not counting many enemies
- Gas should now be consumed on car travel
- Winning/losing a game as second character classes will now properly remove the save
- Fetchquest mission correctly removed from inventory on completion, so no more free mission completes
- Removed a broken sprite from Cannibal melee enemies
- Silver Shooter ammo should now display properly
- Fix for saving/quitting during Ronin's mission
- No more Lola missions in the void
- Radio should spam you less with messages
- Some Stan's Store fixes
- Some fixes for the escape icons sometimes being wrong on the map
- Ronin's boss can now laser attack in any direction
