Second Extinction™ - Anaïs
Hello Extinction Elites,

We have just pushed a hotfix to solve the newfound issue with the Satchel charge, the wrong month showing on top of the Seasonal Contracts, and removed some Necrotoxic immune Raptors from the Emergence Event making it hard to complete.

Enemies
  • Fixed an issue where Raptors stopped getting infected by necrosis during the Emergence Event.

Abilities and Perks
  • An issue with the Satchel charge flying away has been fixed.

Avalanche Apex Connect
  • Changing language should now correctly update the Apex Connect policies.

Menu, HUD, UI etc.
  • The Seasonal Contracts no longer show the wrong month for the end of the season.
  • The Lunar New Year Nameplate and War Effort screen should no longer overlap in the loadout screen.

---

Known Issue
  • The thumper’s cooldown is longer than intended. The team is looking into this.
Tormented Souls - Jlups
Hi everyone,

Today we have two new Tormented Souls updates to share with you!

New Screenshots

We have just added a batch of new screenshots to the Steam page, taken from the latest build, which you can view at the top of the Steam page. We are still working hard on improving everything about Tormented Souls - but we hope that they give you even more of a flavour of what we're looking to bring to the game. Including...

Deadly Combat

Dark forces and unspeakable horrors will do everything in their power to stop Caroline getting to the truth. Use anything and everything that you can find to fight back against the evils that wait in the darkness.

Fiendish Puzzles

Scavenge essential resources and tools, manage your inventory, decipher clues from long-forgotten journals, and combine it all to solve fiendish puzzles and unravel the secrets of the mansion-turned-hospital.

Gateways to Another Dimension

Nothing is as it seems at Winterlake. And when you discover a shimmering mirror in a dark corner of the mansion, your understanding of reality will be challenged in a whole new way...

Closed Beta Update

We are currently running a Closed Beta for Tormented Souls and already we have received so much useful feedback to help us take the game to the next level. We're sorry that not everybody could take part in this Beta test, but please keep an eye on the Steam page for more information about the improvements we're making to the game - and also for future opportunities to help us test & improve Tormented Souls.

Thanks for your support!

Going Medieval - SeWerin
Greetings medievalists!

February is all about quality-of-life updates. But don’t worry, there are some new features here and there too! For example:
You can plant trees now! 🌲

Settlers are able to plant trees and they don’t cost a thing, but they do take a lot of time to grow, so bear that in mind. Players will have to think upfront about where they want to do this, as their settlement will naturally expand over time whilst playing & building.

Coal is a new type of resource! ⛏

Marked with a distinct black color of the ground, coal can be used as a fuel instead of wood or sticks, but don’t forget it is also the only fuel that can be used for making steel.

Players can make custom Heraldry symbols now! 🛡

As long as the file image is a .png, players will be able to place it in the //StreamingAssets/HeraldryCustomSymbols and use it in our game. And that’s not all! We’ve also gone ahead and added a bunch of new symbols for when you create your own Heraldry from scratch.

Animal behavior improved! 🦊🦌

Animals will now try to avoid the settlers. They may pass through the player’s settlement, but they will not stay there for the long term. Nor will they enter the rooms as they did before.

Settlers idle behavior is also improved!

When they have nothing to do, settlers will aim to stay close to the source of warmth like a complete room or campfire/fireplace. This will matter a lot once the winter kicks in and they have spare time.

And now let’s talk about the bug fixes and QOL updates:
  • mining logic received an upgrade - the situations where settlers would fall into the holes that they dig should be avoided now
  • settler that had killed an animal will also take its carcass to the stockpile now
  • prioritization function received an additional polish
  • fixed a lot of spelling mistakes and issues regarding text presentation
  • fixed issue when some buildings would be marked as “unreachable”, when in fact they could be
  • fixed bug where two settlers would sleep on the same hay sleeping spot
  • fixed issue where setters were able to build through the trunk of a tree
  • fixed issue where the light of the torches and braziers could be seen throughout the walls
  • fixed bug where notification panel didn’t properly update
  • fixed bug where pressing the ESC key during the loading screen of any save would result in errors being displayed
  • fixed bug where using the pause option for any product would corrupt the pause/resume button
  • fixed bug where a wrong item description for all of the inventory slots would appear upon resuming the game
  • fixed bug where merlons could be built on empty spaces
  • fixed bug where products would grow near the designated field area
  • fixed bug where the number of research resources do not properly update after using the “Reset” option
And that is all for the February update folks! In the meantime, be sure to check our Twitter for more gameplay videos and feature showcases. And be sure to join our Discord Server to chat with like-minded Going Medieval fans and as is a key place for all game updates, news, and announcements!

Dreamhouse: The Game - Quickear_GF
Greetings Architects!

In the last Devlog, we were talking about various objects manipulation, and today we will find out where we will be able to buy stuff we can later manipulate.

Desand Games Studio proudly presents CoolTools, our games returning company.

At first, we wanted to use Woodzone style shop, but Arthur said otherwise, and he is the one-man majority in the vote. He was right, though. This style suits Dreamhouse: The Game more.

Since Dreamhouse: The Game will have a ridiculous amount of various models and players will be able to add their own, we need a convenient shop to use and filters a lot of filters. Players will be able to filter furniture by price, type, style etc.
We are still working on how stuff will be delivered and received by Players, but we can promise:

IT WILL NOT JUST POP UP IN YOUR INVENTORY.

Delivery, Inventory and logistics management can be part of the fun as well :) Shop wisely.

Dreamhouse: The game is an architect and designer simulator game, it cannot be missing precise measurement and building tools.

Feng-shui intensifies. With those tools, Players will be able to create their Dreamhouses with 1:1 accuracy.

Meanwhile, we are preparing and implementing new models. The subject for today - beds!
You can check screenshots below his cute "Add to Wishlist" button.
See You in two weeks! 11.03.2021. Or sooner on our Discord Server, where we publish Daily Updates now.

Yours

Strategic Mind: Spectre of Communism - KateMels
The Bishop

A tall metal box with a 25-pounder sticking out of it, placed on the Valentine tank chassis - even its lofty name couldn’t redeem the Bishop.

The Bishop was a hasty British attempt at making the 25-pounder-gun howitzer self-propelled - and like anything hasty, the attempt was largely doomed from the start. Due to awkward construction the gun’s maximum angle was sharply reduced, and its effective range was effectively halved compared to the towed variant. It forced the troops operating it to resort to trickery, such as building ramps to elevate the whole front of the vehicle to improve the firing arc.

Although the Bishop saw action throughout the African and Italian campaigns, few tears were shed when it eventually ended up replaced by the American heavy-hitter M7 Priest.

In the game

Bishop is a first self-propelled artillery unit in the British campaign with the Gun range of 3, which serves its purpose up until you get access to a better M7 Priest model with the Gun range of 4.

KeepUp Survival - Flitzpiepe o.0
Tomorrow starts the Early Access day, I really hope the community will like it.

General

I'm Norman, the developer of KeepUp Survival.

I want to deliver you an adventurous open-world survival, which is what I want to achieve with Early Access. To make it as adventurous as possible, requests, ideas, suggestions and criticism are always welcome.

KeepUp Survival

I would like to tell you about KeepUp Survival, how it all began and how it continues now.

Over 2 years I developed this game as a hobby project, there were among other things private inquiries whether I would publish it. I decided to prepare it for Early Access, so that I don't keep this game from you anymore.

The content is still very limited, but I want to change that as soon as possible with the upcoming updates. KeepUp Survival was generally intended for pure survival with animals, without much ulterior motive.

Pve/Pvp-Content

For the pve content creatures are intended and not zombies. Why they are creatures and not zombies, I'll explain here, to get to the point there are enough zombie games after all.

Creatures are mutated Animalspecies on the island, where you get better loot. But they can also be killed by Pvp players.

Due to some changes, access to the creatures is still closed and will be opened in upcoming updates. Where these creatures are located is not revealed and must be explored on your own.

To accommodate Pvp players as well, an update is being prepared for more weapons. Also the destruction system will be further expanded for Pve and Pvp.

Furthermore, a building, crafting, farming and cooking system will help you to create something big out of a small camp.
