The Oculus Quest 2 is almost certainly getting support for a 120Hz refresh rate in an upcoming update, according to Facebook Reality Labs. When asked about whether the standalone headset would be receiving yet another refresh rate bump in a recent Q and A session on Instagram (good spot, RoadToVR), Facebook Reality Labs' vice president Andrew Bosworth gave a thumbs up as his answer.

Square Enix last night announced a remastered rerelease of Legend Of Mana, an RPG first released in 1999 on PlayStation by Square (before their marriage to Enix). While they've previously deemed Mana games from the SNES old enough to be fully remade in 3D, this is just a remaster touching up the graphics and music a bit. Publisher Koei Tecmo have announced the Ninja Gaiden trilogy will soon be freed from its console shackles, and make its PC debut on June 10th. Ninja Gaiden Sigma, Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2 and Ninja Gaiden 3: Razor's Edge will make up the Ninja Gaiden: Master Collection, which gathers up a bunch of old game modes and DLC too.

Viking survival game Valheim is having quite a moment. The early access adventure has managed to sell over 2 million copies in its first two weeks, which means over 2 million vikings finding and reporting bugs. Valheim released a new patch today to solve a few such issues including vanishing tombstones and deadly phantom hearths.

Larian Studios have introduced the next big update for their big early access D&D RPG Baldur's Gate 3. This one calls up the Druid class and their eight animals forms for you to play around with along with other game changes and improvements. Larian have just shown off lots of details about Druids in their second Panel From Hell event.

Update: Larian CEO Swen Vincke declared pretty emphatically at the start of the livestream that Patch 4 is "releasing today" though I've since gotten word from Larian that "he goofed." Patch 4 is actually arriving "soon, when it's ready."

Mega Man-y platformer 30XX is has blasted its way into early access. It's set 1000 years after its predecessor 20XX and it looks like, oh shoot, you'll need to try and save the world again. Funny how that always happens. The sequel also comes with new modes and features such as its level editor.

It had to happen at some point, didn't it? I, the JRPG-liker, installed Final Fantasy XV. My main reasoning behind the purchase was simple: it promised a roadtrip with the lads, all of whom have great hair. Both these things are currently out of reach for most of us in lockdown.

So yes, I was aware that a large portion of my time in FFXV would be spent reclined in a car. What I didn't expect was to be reminded of a trip I took to Albania within the first hour of playing.
