In 2009, developers Atomic Games and publishers Konami announced Six Days In Fallujah, a third-person shooter based on a real battle five years prior in the then-ongoing Iraq War. This proved controversial for several reasons, enough that Konami soon dropped the game and Atomic eventually scrapped it. Well, it's coming back. Kinda. An "all-new" Six Days In Fallujah was announced today, now an FPS and being both made and published by different companies. Huh. Trailer's below.
I always thought it'd be pretty cool if The Witcher series let you play as a make-your-own Witcher rather than grizzly lad Geralt all the time. While I might not be able to do that in video game form any time soon, I might be able to in a board game instead. CD Projekt Red have announced The Witcher: Old World, a tabletop prequel to The Witcher trilogy, where we'll get to explore and hunt monsters well before Mr. Rivia started bloodying up the place.
Hear that? The faint murmur of a sax solo, the trundle of a cat-shaped bus, a rippling bassline. If I listen closely, I can't shake the feeling that my life's about to change again. Persona 5 Strikers isn't far off now, and I can't wait to reunite with my high school homies in this hack-and-slash follow up to 2017's endlessly stylish, turn-based JRPG Persona 5.
But as the prospect of fist-bumping my boy Ryuji and pruning some flowers with Haru draws near, something deep within me crashes to the surface once again. Persona 5 for PC! Where are you, huh? WHERE ARE Y-
This week on the Electronic Wireless Show podcast, we buy in to that corporate lifestyle by talking about our favourite fictional brands in video games. We talk about some absolute classics. Mmm, why I could go for a delicious glass of Nuka Cola right now!

Nvidia's cloud gaming service GeForce Now has been steadily improving since I reviewed all the major cloud services last year, and it now has the one thing I've been craving for absolutely ages: a proper honest-to-goodness list of all the games currently supported on it. That's not all, either, as today's update also adds 12 new games to the service, including a whole bunch of today's best ray tracing games such as Cyberpunk 2077, Control and Metro Exodus. If you've ever wanted to see what all the ray tracing fuss was about but don't have the requisite hardware, I reckon GeForce Now is finally a service worth paying for.
The looting and the shooting never stops on Pandora, it seems. Gearbox have announced that their next Borderlands 3 DLC, the Director's Cut, will launch on March 18th as part of Season Pass 2. It's adding a nasty new raid boss, murder mystery missions, and new loot-filled challenges to complete.
Last month, Capcom unveiled Resident Evil Village's massive vampire woman, Lady Dimitrescu. Standing 9’6” tall (in a hat and heels), she's captured the imaginations of many internet dwellers - who are mostly asking her to step on them. But she's not the first tall gothic hottie to steal people's hearts. According to RE8's art director Tomonori Takano, she's partially inspired by perhaps one of the most famous ominous ladies, Morticia Addams.

Amazon have knocked £60 off Samsung's curved CRJ5 gaming monitor today, taking this once £300 screen down to £240. That's a great price considering its specs, as this monitor not only comes with a 2560x1440 resolution, but a 144Hz refresh rate, too.
