O happy day! It's time to return to a spooky world where teeny tots are pursued by monstrous giant adults through, for Little Nightmares 2 is out now. The puzzle-platforming adventure is unpleasant in a way I find quite appealing, crick-cracking serpentine necks and doctors in larval lab coats and terrible things being treated as mundane. The first was a good'un, and from what I've heard of the sequel I'm keen to get in. By which I mean I will put it off for ages because as much as I like and appreciate horror, I am a big baby who has to trick herself into experiencing it.

Microsoft announced their intention to purchase Bethesda parent company ZeniMax last September. Currently, they're still in the process of getting permission to take ZeniMax's hand in corporate marriage from all the necessary legal and legislative bodies and all. Valheim is a survival sandbox game that launched in early access on Steam last week. In it, you craft things, fight things and generally survive in a Viking world. It looks a bit like Rust had a baby with Old School RuneScape, then grew up to study Norse mythology at uni and get really into heavy metal. Which is to say: it looks well cool. It seems thousands upon thousands of people would tend to agree too, because it's already sold one million copies on Steam.
