Update v1.07 - Keybinds Hotfix

Hey folks! Turns out the last update broke the loading of custom keybinds for many players. This hotfix corrects that. A big thanks to all the players who let us know this was broken and to our community members who helped test the fix.

TLDR
Q. Does this have any gameplay changes?
A. Nope. It only addresses the keybinding issue.

Bugfixes:

• Saved keybinds correctly load on launch of game.

The recently released Classic Mode hides a secret...within the update is a more difficult mode called “1986”.

Classic Mode is an homage to the classic games of yesteryear, when games were 8-bit and controllers were analog. One mistake and you’re sent back to the beginning of the level with one less life to lose. Lose enough and it’s Game Over.



1986 takes things to a new level by restricting Miriam’s abilities within the mode.

* No Backflip
* No Backstep
* No Slide
* Mid-air control is reduced
* Cannot jump off stairs
* Cannot jump on to stairs
* Extended whip is not available
* Cannot stand/crouch mid whip animation

Reducing Miriam’s abilities requires your own skills to be sharp as a sword to reach the end. The mode still has three difficulty levels to choose from, so you may want to start off on easy to get used to the controls.

To access the mode, head to the Extra Modes menu.

MAIN MENU ➡️ EXTRA MODE ➡️ CLASSIC MODE

On the Classic Mode launch screen, enter the following code:

⬆️⬆️⬇️⬇️⬅️➡️⬅️➡️🔘(X or Square)🔘(B or O)

When you have successfully entered the code, “1986” will appear at the bottom of the screen. Starting the game will reveal Miriam in a new red outfit. This lets you know that you’re playing 1989 Mode.

I just wanted to make a quick update, to say thank you, and to list a few cool reviews that appeared, in case anybody wants to know why they should play NUTS :)

So first of all, if you're reading this and you bought the game, thank you so much! I never thought this many people would enjoy our experimental squirrel adventure, but here we are! People are playing, and finishing it, which means a lot to me and the rest of the team.

The Lunar New Year has arrived and with it the twin cats Luna Blue and Luna Red for you to puzzle.
We thought of very special cats for this occasion, the Maneki-neko (招き猫, beckoning cat).

During our research we found out that despite the fact that we associate these luck bringing cats with China, they originate in Japan and were adopted across Asia, even with the original text 10 mio ryo.
So we went with the Maneki-neko as our newest cat, because it is so widely adopted across asia.

Since the the text is Japanese everywhere anyway, the amazing Megumi was so kind and translated JujiBla into Japanese, what means:

樹 地 舞 螺
Ju ji bu ra
tree earth dancing water snail

Tomorrow we will have the pleasure of presenting M.E.A.T. during Digital Dragons Demo Day. This is when we will talk about the M.E.A.T. project and outline our plans for the future. We will be watched mainly by people who work in the gamedev industry every day. The event will be connected with our participation in Digital Dragons Incubator.

-Implemented PLANTER animation cut.
-Improved the PLANTER lottery algorithm.
-Increased the amount of damage to some weapons.
-Changed the design of bullets fired by enemies from focusing on identification to focusing on visibility.
-Changed to have a small amount of Seeds from the beginning when the first game starts.
-In preparation for a later update, PLANTER will stop when all weapons have been collected.

**Event**
A new crafting has just begun! Join Orion on a galactic sexcapade and meet Skye and Jupiter! Collect ingredients and craft exclusive items and maidens!

The event ends on February 22nd and the crafting period ends of the 24th.

**Features**
- Added a feature in the PvP defense tab to challenge any user. This will not affect your rating, grant PvP tickets or exhaust maidens.

**Bug Fixes:**
- Fixed a bug that caused Rose to cast a lot more ghosts than intended.
- Fixed a bug where Eleonor could fail to swap with an ally if it had crowd control resist.
- Fixed the Expert trophy appearing as debug text and failing to grant its reward.

This patch fixes some missing texts and added some special event content, i.e. the upcoming Lunar New Year and Valentine Day,
