We're bringing you some good news regarding RUNNING WITH RIFLES: EDELWEISS. We've been hard at work improving the game and invite you to test our changes and give your feedback on our Discord server - #edelweiss-beta channel!
To activate the public beta, right-click RUNNING WITH RIFLES in your Steam library and select Properties. Go to the Betas tab, then select the "beta - 1.82" option from the drop-down menu. Once you close out of the window, the requisite files will be downloaded. You can opt out of this by selecting "none" in the same menu.
Here's a rundown of the major changes made: in the art realm, we've made some tweaks to German and Allied uniform colours, particularly the brightness/darkness, to help differentiate their soldier models more easily - especially on the maps Sicily and Arnhem. On the AI front, we've made regular soldiers (but not veterans) be less accurate with bolt-action rifles, especially while moving. Additionally, Sentries no longer see further than players, Assault Soldiers can now spawn with bayonet rifles again but are much less accurate while moving, and spawn less often on Sicily and St. Marie du Mont. In regards to vehicles, Light Tanks now fire their cannon much quicker but deal less damage, the King Tiger fires slower but deals much more damage, and all AI-controlled Tanks have less sight range. In terms of map balancing, some vehicles now spawn slower on Hill 262 and Hell's Highway, the Bergetiger escort vehicle has received tweaks to prevent it from advancing when below a certain amount of health (requiring repairs), Axis campaign's Bastogne final objective has been made easier, and there has been a variety of weapon balance tweaks.
In the new season of CRSED: F.O.A.D. we have prepared new types of secret challenges for you! Loot nazi gold, win crazy race or kill opponent in one-on-one duel!
Guarded Loot
Nazi zombies are guarding the chest full of gold coins. How did they get here and what dark power energizes guardians? No one knows. But one thing is sure: guardians will attack anyone threatening to take the treasure! Kill all the SMG-wielding zombies and take the loot, but be careful - guardians keep respawning fast while you fill your pockets!
Rally
Enemies and kills can wait: rally starts in CRSED: F.O.A.D! Activate the special challenge on the map and drive through three glowing checkpoints within a specified time frame. Pick the fastest car you can and step on the gas!
Duel
Fate has selected an opponent for you to check your skills in fair duel. Only one will survive. Both you and your enemy see each other on the map. Prove being a hunter, not the prey!
Mechanics: 1. Pick your preferred Valentine weapon just by clicking the corresponding reaction of your choice. There will be five winners from (like, heart, care, wow) reactions. A total of 20 winners. To be eligible, please follow the mechanics. 2. Post the following details in the comment section of the event banner:

Fixed corner fence posts missing from outdoor areas in some cases
Made "Rooms inside rooms" error less likely to occur when just free-building up against other rooms

It's Brianda again with another update. Here's what you can expect:
Trigger issue fixed: We have looked into the issue that some of you have reported and we have implemented a fix, please let us know if you're still experiencing any problems.
Remesh poly count prediction: You are now able to set an amount of polys you desire to obtain from performing a remesh and you will get a good approximation to it as a result. Let us know how this is working for you.
Easier load of reference images: You can now load reference images from the native windows file explorer in desktop mode. The reference images do now show up in the outliner in VR, where you can hide and delete them.
Undo bug fixes and Improved menus: Some improvements can be found in these areas. Let us know if the changes have helped on your general workflow.
There is also better chunking in general. You will find some of the different settings are only available in desktop for the time being, usually advanced settings, this is not the way they are meant to stay. Have a look on both interfaces and don't hesitate to try out your tablet with Kodon. Our tablet support is up and working. As the title explains, you can test the current version of Pawn of the Dead's campaign mode right now. We have a story with 64 levels, supported by cinematics.
Also, 4 new achievements are added. They are achieved at the ends of each chapters.
Story Your mission as Leonard, the White King, is to protect the White Kingdom against the marching army of undead. Elona, the White Queen, is the best warrior in the kingdom, you won’t be able to succeed without her help. During your quest, you will face a sinister reflection that you forgot a long time ago.

Crypt of the NecroDancer
What is it about?
This mode lets you play the role of Cadence, the hero of the original game (of the same title). Armed with a trusted shovel and a deadly crossbow, she waltzes through the game's diverse environments, shooting bad guys to the rhythm of the music. The tempo of the music tracks varies level to level, culminating within main boss arenas in which players have to stay true to the rhythm to survive.
How to unlock it?
Each comic-book is a level of its own, so you'll need to defeat one of the main bosses in a set comic at least once, to access its content in "Crypt of the NecroDancer - Fury Unleashed" mode. There are 3 levels overall, each for every comic-book.
SUPERHOT
What is it about?
"SUPERHOT" turns around the ingame rules, making time stop when the hero doesn't move and flow when they do. That doesn't mean the game's easy though, as you now can survive just one hit before starting over. Still, you can use the Fury Unleashed's combo system to get additional damage shields based on how well you dispose of the enemies standing before you.

In case you've missed our latest hotfixes, we've improved some things since the last major update:
Increased the player walking speed by 30% ( 🔵💨 ~gotta go fast! ),
Unknown system time zone will no longer make a level load indefinitely,
Fixed an error with the bat/vampire enemy in the epilogue chapter,
Fixed a bug that very rarely made some chapter 2 enemies immortal,
Fixed a bug causing only the "Core Chamber" boss to spawn in the third comic book,
Fixed a rare bug causing progress to be lost when using Save & Quit feature in the epilogue,
Fixed a bug causing the game to stutter and eventually crash when using a gamepad.

With Operation Massacre, we went all out in map design and getting in the aura of a SWAT operation. Both of the maps we added have a vey distinctive characteristics with unique objectives. We also brought in a new weapon, Oppressor.
Café Fourteen
In Operation Massacre, we are bringing a new map, Café Fourteen. The map is based off a serial killer's house located in Banani. The suspect is a doctor who turned psycho and had experiments done on innocent patients. He kidnaps them and brings them to his home which resulted in missing civilians and gruesome homicides. Players are to breach in and locate him. Expect other armed suspects inside and keep an eye out for any hostages we can save.
Military Airport
Another Map we added is the military airport located in Chittagong. The cargo plane had a lot of top secret military weapons and some valuable technological assets which could become lethal in the hands of a terrorist organization. Mozammel haque, a lieutenant, is our main suspect. Players are to locate him and neutralize anyone who seems hostile. There are possibilities of a bomb located inside the plane, along with possible hostages.
New Weapon
Oppressor
Made to meet the requirements of special forces units, the Oppressor (MP5SD) integrally suppressed submachine gun helps get the job done. It's one of the most widely used submachine guns in the world and now is wielded in the hands of the MS Unit.
New Features
Hostage Voices and Models:
Hostages now have voices and shout for help according to the dire state they are in.
Shout Compliances:
Counter Terrorists now have shout compliances where they will verbally shout at the terrorists for standing down. This has been requested greatly by the Zero Hour community.
Hotel added in Co Op:
Bomb Added in Co-op: A new objective has been added in co-op where players have to defuse the bomb in time.
UDC Gadget:
We added a UDC (Under Door Cam) where a player will be able to see what’s behind the door by sliding the UDC under the door and watching the live feed through a portable display.
Target suspects more specific:
Objectives such as neutralizing specifically named suspects now have different models to make them more distinctive among the terrorists
Improved co-op hostage:
Now you will be able to extract the hostage to it's extraction zone.
Added sensor option:
In our new update, there are regions of a map where it consists of extreme gore which might be sensitive to some players. If players are uncomfortable with that, there is a censoring option available.
Other Improvements:
We changed and added a new Flashbang VFX to make it feel more realistic. The audio of weapon sounds have been improved in order to sound satisfying to players. At the same time, we added Discord rich presence where Discord will be showing which map and mode you're playing. AI's shots will now cause less damage to players.
Upcoming Updates:
With our next update which will be Update Part 5, we are planning to launch the full release of Zero Hour. There isn't any confirmation on the date of release but keep an eye on our announcement or join our discord communities for more information.
