I've kept you waiting for a long time. It's a whole year since the last version, but I feel that it's only one day. I finished this version on the last day of 2020. At the same time, I wish you a happy New Year!

Version update on December 31, 2020

Part I new content:

1. Add community plots and scenes.
2. Add plots and scenes of suburban roads. (vehicle system level)
3. Add urban plots and scenes.

The second part is game adjustment and bug correction
1. Fixed the disorder of time and space in the bar and the revival of NPC. This bug has been fixed.
2. When snow mountain dies, there will be infinite circulation. This bug has been fixed.
3-1. The subway part has been integrated into the plot and is no longer listed as a test scenario.
3-2. The plot of the subway is slightly modified to make it more reasonable.
3-3. Metro NPC Angela will display tasks repeatedly. This bug has been fixed.
4. NPC follows the adjustment, and can't command it to move to the designated area at any time.
5. The snow mountain and the subway have joined the archive points.
6. Delete the option button in the menu bar, and the options will be made together with the UI after the functions are improved.
7. Increase the power of pistol. The damage of the previous version is obviously weaker than that of bow and arrow, which is unscientific.

  • Fixed a crash that occurred on the Badge screen in the Multiplayer Lobby.
  • Fixed a crash that occurred after heir selection if the spouse was selected as the heir and they were in a fugitive state.
  • Fixed a crash caused by corrupted save files because of some unfinished raids.
  • Fixed an issue where mercenary soldiers cost more than the shown amount.
  • Added the quest givers name in Landlord Needs Manual Labor quest dialogues.
  • Fixed a crash that occurred while the Lady's Knight Out quest was active and the quest giver left her settlement.
  • Fixed an issue with newly added keyboard and controller keys not using the default keys.
  • Reflective Friendly Fire damage has been added to Custom Siege servers. 10% to Friend and 30% to Self. Please note that, if you are playing as defenders you will be damaged if you hit your team's siege weaponry, castle gates and doors.
  • Added the missing Loading Screen images for these maps: Ebereth Hillfort (Captain), Cliffs of Akkalat (Captain), Xauna - Winter (Skirmish), Castle of Fen Altai - Winter (Siege), Nord Town - Winter (TDM).

  • Saving wrong resolution values for some situations issue has been fixed.
  • Distant object's wrong rendering issue in Level 2 has been fixed.
  • Incorrect play of some dialogs has been fixed.
  • Enemies' turning behind erroneously in some situations upon takedown has been fixed.
  • Incorrect locations of shot wounds on enemies has been fixed.
  • Taking damage after dying issue has been fixed.
  • Throwing grenade to reverse direction issue has been fixed.

AI
  • AI navigation has been improved.
  • Now, enemy AI detects the player faster when they are close to the player.
  • Enemy AI detection upon the player approaching the enemy from behind by stealth has been improved.

Sound
  • Bullet hit sounds have been improved.

Gameplay
  • Auto reload has been added.
  • Grenade icon has been updated.
  • Grenade physics have been improved.
  • Grenade explosion ugly damage field circle indicator has been discarded.
  • Now, when you shoot at the grenade and if it gets damaged, it immidiately explodes. (Do not give your enemies any chance to run away from your grenades!)
  • When the enemy is very close, the character automatically kicks or stocks the enemy upon fire click.

Hello everyone! I wanted to wish everyone a happy new year and good luck in 2021!

2020 was very important year for me and for Gedonia. I've had somewhat of a smooth launch for the game, and overall it was huge success for me, to get such an ambitious project going so well. These 6 months the game was still finding its footing, and I wanted to once more thank everyone who participated in development by giving their feedback, opinions and suggestions. I've been quite overwhelmed with the positive reception the game had, and I hope I won't disappoint you guys in the future.

I also hope that now, when some of the core issues the game had are figured out, the development will go smoother and more efficient than ever. I have some really cool ideas, and I can't wait for you all to see them implemented.

I will take a week long break for a new year holidays to spend some time with the family, and after that, will return to development, and start working on controller support and other things from current roadmap.

Streatham Hill Stories - Streatham Hill Stories
This update fixes the menu issues and now you are able to save all display settings in the menu. Also a fix during the cutscene where the christmas HUD border is still displayed.

There will be one last major update in March/April 2021. After that update I will fully devote my time to working on Streatham Hill Stories 2 on the Unreal engine.

March/April 2021 final update:

-Single Player/ Multiplayer selected from menu instead of launcher, faster loading process
-Complete rewrite of vehicle physics system to have realistic driving*
-Complete rewrite of camera system to look more current
-Allow user to choose different button set configuration
-Some sounds aren't heard on some PC's so I will Change WAV's and OGG's to MP3s
-Radio stations will start at a random point instead of always playing from the start
-Of course more missions
-Multiplayer race or graffiti mode (think TAG on Tony Hawks Pro Skater 2)


*If I can't get physics to work any better I will scrap it completely and use a basic moving system, it won't be realistic but traffic lights/ collision detection and speed will be more reliable
