Substance Designer 2020.2.2 is here and it comes with a slew of fixes.

  • The merchant will now enrage if a player wearing the true crown teleports into her shop
  • Slightly reduced the stun time of the falling platform
  • Fixed bow-like weapons' ammo on being cloned
  • Fixed torch flames state on being cloned
  • Fixed dice number on being cloned
  • Prevented eggsac from being cloned
  • Entrance lasers of the Sun Challenge will now re-enable if the player doesn't survive
  • Added a new option to disable bright flashes

Online beta changes:
  • Display choice of server information
  • Fixed crash when a secondary player carried a gold monkey through the ending (in both local coop and online coop)
  • Deployed more servers (available in 27 worldwide locations mainly in North America / Europe / Oceania but also including Tokyo, Seoul, São Paulo and Eastern Russia)
  • Fixed an issue that caused players to join a room multiple times (ephemerally)
  • Allowed controller auto-assignment using any button in the menus, which fixes the controller not being detected in the lobby scene
  • Fixed pause menu in the online mode after opening it and closing it with the Resume option
  • Fixed input mapping to the wrong player for online players nº2, 3 & 4
  • Fixed case where a player could control a character and a ghost at the same time after reviving from a coffin

Note: 1.19.8c is required to start new online games.
Regarding invites, we're reaching out to the platform holder to see what information they can provide about the issue on their end.
We've also reached Valve to ask for information regarding how to integrate our infrastructure with the recent player feature without depending on Steam matchmaking / lobbies.
Slotracers VR - Unknown Soldier
Hello everybody!

The playtest is now live! For those who haven't registered, registrations will remain open until December 24th at 7 P.M. CET.

Features
The playtest contains most of the game's features:
  • Track editor with full set of tracks and scenery objects
  • Race mode with all cars except campaign related cars
  • Time of day settings
  • Multiplayer

If you've played the Steam Game Festival demo last summer, your savefiles will most likely still load, however there may be bugs that wouldn't normally occur.

A note about car physics:
The car physics are not finished and will most likely change massively during and also after the playtest. If there are things you notice about it that are missing or just feel off, please tell us about it.

Linux
For those who wanted to play the playtest on Linux, we have some bad news for you. Since a recent engine upgrade we've done the Linux support for SteamVR is currently broken and therefore a native Linux build is currently not possible. However, we've tested the game with Proton and it works fine and currently we see this as a temporary solution for the problem.

Let's celebrate the end of this year with thematic event called Castle Winterstein!




New Visuals and Sounds
All vanilla maps are now set during winter and comes with Christmas decorations. Your enemies and allies are also properly equipped for holidays! Don't forget the thematical music too!
Credit for visuals goes to Yoshik aka FuriousOverlord, author of Vendetta, Dark Matters and Devils Manor map packs.



Rebalanced gameplay
With this event I decided to try something new to encourage you to actually beat the game once more. Here's the quick breakdown of gameplay changes:

  • Player movement speed increased dramatically.
  • Stun from falling is removed. Fall damage greatly decreased.
  • Weapon is now centered just like in Quake,Doom and Wolf3D.
  • Weapon arsenal is restricted to 13 weapons.
  • Weapon rebalance.
  • AI rebalance.
  • Adrenaline and Wine buff.
  • Ammo count increased.
  • Dynamite and grenade throw range increased.
  • Movement speed for some of the AI's increased.
  • Healing output increased for healthpacks.

And don't forget that we added 5 new achievements for you to hunt!

Castle Winterstein event will end on 10th of January 2021 but it will be reuploaded to Steam Workshop as an addon shortly after the end of the event. So you still can get your achievements afterwards.[/b]

Beware, saves from default RealRTCW are not compatible with Winterstein due to massive code changes and custom .dlls.

Event is completely optional. On launch you can choose between event and regular version.

Nanotale - Typing Chronicles - VirginRedemption
Hi Fox Riders,

I am happy to announce you that we updated Nanotale with voice-overs. We still need to tweak them here and there, so, we recommend you to low down a bit the effect sounds in the menu before playing.





We also updated the game with some fixes and improvements. Here's the full list.

Added:
  • Voice-overs
  • Accessibility options:
    • Open dyslexic font
    • Health regeneration overtime
    • Toggle a pause in the world so you can get out of a bad situation
  • Adaptive difficulty based on your wpm (active by default)
  • Difficulty levels
  • New Fox abilities (new upgrades for the Fox)
  • Reveal effect when you get a new spell fragment.

Fixes:
  • Teleport issue in the cave
  • Serpent battle doesn't reset correctly
  • Ray of fire sometimes didn't burn poison

Improvements:
  • Art and visibility improvement in the forest
  • Can backtrack after Serpent battle
  • New main menus
  • New Loading screens



Note: The secondary characters in Nanotale, don't have sounds/voices yet. We plan to add emotes/sounds when you start a dialogue with them.

Time Loader: First Memories - Alecossy
Hello people!

We have a bit of winter surprise for you! After long days of work, today we released our "December Hotfix" for Time Loader Prologue! This small patch, which is already available for download, deals with some of the bugs you reported!

In detail, here's all the December Hotfix introduces:
  • Climbing was fine-tuned to work better in some scenarios. The bot can now easily climb larger and more complex objects;
  • We reworked swinging from hooks to make it more fun;
  • New items, and authentic 90s memorabilia have been added to the various levels;
  • Some of the quests and the paths to their objectives were made more clear;
  • We fixed an array of smaller bugs, polished some of the models, and further optimized the Prologue;
To download the hotfix, simply launch Time Loader Prologue from your Steam client; the download should start automatically. If that doesn't happen, please restart your client and check the game's cache!

Oh, and we almost forgot: happy winter holidays, everyone!
Dreamhouse: The Game - Quickear_GF
Greetings Architects!

At first, we would love to thank You for all positive feedback we have received after publishing our trailer.
It really gives us a massive boost to our motivation to create the best game possible!


Right now we are working about Gamers presence in Dreamhouse World. We already announced multiplayer features in our trailer and proper social experience means - customization.




Character creation UI visuals are still W.i.P but creator itself already allow us to create OWN unique character. Character creation menu will receive some fancy look and features in the nearest future and we will show it in our next Devlog.
We are playing with ideas for now. Should it be simple but elegant? Or maybe scream designer is crazy!


Totally not a designer look-alike

Before we lay our first cornerstone, we need Base of Operations. Your very own architect office!
By mean your own we mean fully customizable office that will serve as an in-game menu as well.
We cannot wait to see Your imagination go wild with all items and furniture we will provide ;)


We are playing with Office mechanics. Should it be visuals only or affect gameplay? Maybe in-game clans should operate together in such? Leave Your feedback in a comment!

You might notice graphics being a little crude for now as its alpha footage ;) Don't worry!
Trailer level of graphics its MINIMUM we aim for our fully released game. We are going to squeeze Unreal Engine 5 dry!
